I should be paying joe, he is so knowledge about everything in the store, nutrition, fitness, and more. Every time i go in there he teaches me something new. The highest level of customer service! He will help you find whatever you need for your fitness goals and give you options to work within your budget. If there’s something he doesn’t know or have he’ll look it up or get it for you. Every product he’s recommended, I’ve loved and he’s throughly explained the product and how to use it. Customer service here is the best. The worker is always helpful/​friendly and very knowledgeable about what he sells. He doesn’t try to sell me crap that I don’t need like those scrawny yolos (you on lifted once) that don’t know crap about supplements like at gnc. I buy something from this place at least once every 2 weeks. This location has very comparable prices to the internet prices. Sometimes, I find stuff here cheaper than

I work and live right nearby so it was nice to see a great shop with great prices, the guy there knows his stuff and I felt completely comfortable taking his advice on a new protein powder that I hadn’t tried before. The customer service here is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Joe really knows his stuff (and I don’t mean. reading off what’s already on the bottle/​container or spewing off bullshit you see on the internet, but actually knew some biology I learned in school). He also knows his products very well, and when one pre-​work out didn’t work for my friend and me he suggested another and it was perfect.
Honestly, these new ab lines wouldn’t have been possible without him. Thank you so much Joe. Even if I end up moving cities, I am definitely contacting you and getting things shipped.

I typically order supplements online since it is significantly cheaper than most brick and mortar stores (see GNC). Went into Nutrimart Hillcrest because they had my protein powder for only a couple bucks cheaper than my web source. With the $ 10 coupons Nutrimart always circulates it was like $ 15 cheaper including the shipping I’d have to pay.
Even better, I was looking for a few other supplements. The dude matched my price per gram on comparable products. Pretty freaking sweet. Now I no longer have to wait for my supplements to be delivered in the mail. This place is the $hit. They have a really great selection of high quality products. New lifelong customer fo sho!

I LOVE to come here for all of my greens powder drinks and spirulina. Joe is just awesome! He is SUPER friendly and extremely knowledgeable. If I have any questions on the supplements that I take, he takes the time to explain the benefits and best time to take them during the day. He also gives helpful tips on other diet questions that I have. This is the ONLY nutrition store I go to in San Diego and Joe makes the experience even better!

The guy behind the counter is always friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Most people that run a shop like this try to upsell you with a bunch of crap you don’t need. But if something is not the best for you, he’ll tell you.
I always stop in here after the gym to pick up my protein and its always cheaper than buying it at the gym.
There was this customer that walked in all tweeked out and then asked for some crazy hardcore ephedra. The guy behind the counter was advocating against it. Which I thought said a lot considering most people would have sold it without any questions.
Its a small place but a lot of different selections to keep you motivated and in shape! Higly recommend this place!

They only got the 1 damn star because they are in a convenient area. I try to support local businesses because it’s nice to see stores open and not a «For Lease» sign in the window and I love seeing Hillcrest alive with opened business. This is why I shop online quite a bit with no qualms. I was running low on protein powder and remembered that they were there. I walked into the store and the guy working there was talking to a customer and he did say hi so I’ll give him that. I figured the guy was paying for his items and would be gone soon so I felt no need to interrupt their conversation and waited patiently at the back of the store. Keep in mind the store isn’t that big so it’s not like I was out of sight. The conversation kept on and one and had nothing to do with supplements after 5 min. Now, if they were the only two people in the store you can talk til the cows come home but when customers walk in, the talking stops and you get off your ass and take care of the customer. I don’t care how in shape you are and how good looking you are. NO excuse to be that damn lazy. There are no prices on the products which is what I needed help with and I wanted more information about changing a product. So I suppose I need to interrupt the two so that I can get help spending my money in a store that obviously doesn’t care about me. I finally walked out and here is what the guy behind the counter says to me. «Did you have a question I could answer for you». I simply replied «No, that’s okay I’d hate to interrupt your conversation» and I walked out. Lame ass decideds to ask if I need help as I am walking out? Here’s the pisser, the guy use to work at Nutrisport which was actually what that place was and he didn’t even remember me even though we worked out at the same gym in the past and we use to work at the store everytime I went in to buy supplies.
Unfortunately, I can get a better price online and not have to deal with the piss poore customer service. After this, I have no qualms about shopping online and won’t go out of my way to try to shop locally.

I have a lot of food allergies, and they helped me find a protein bar that I can actually eat. They also had a better price on it than I could find anywhere else. They guy who always helps me (the owner?) is always friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable.
