From the first phone call, to the last day of the install, these guys were professional, polite, and always available via text or phone.
I needed a clean and organized garage, so I was in the market for a complete garage overhaul. I wanted an epoxy floor, garage cabinets, and garage ceiling racks. Price is always important to me, but having work done that will hold up over the long haul is a higher priority. Thankfully they were both competitively priced, and although I’m not an expert, they seemed to offer the highest degree of quality among their competitors. Everybody seemed to have fairly similar and good approaches and good reviews. Nu Garage however, seemed to have a much more in depth & scientific approach beyond the norm that inspired more confidence.
End result… Absolutely beautiful epoxy floor, cabinetry, and garage racks, all done to perfection.

Found this business on Unilocal!Nate was very responsive. He texted me to let me know when he arrived and left each day and updates on the process. It ended up taking a few extra days due to extra touchups and paint not drying as quickly as expected. Nate came every day, even over a weekend. After the job was done, he continued to respond with additional questions. Would highly recommend!!!

Nathan did an amazing job on our garage floor. He was upfront about pricing (and reasonable), easy to work with, always showed up when he said he would, and left the area sparkling. He is super knowledgeable about the epoxy process and I highly recommend using his company.

I searched Unilocal for garage epoxy and Nu Garage popped up. Customer service is exactly what they strive for. Nate was up front and explained the several day process and each step. He was also up front with pricing. Unfortunately an electrical issue from my old house arose and needed immediate addressing which cut into my remodel project. When I called to cancel he was very understanding and professional about it. I look forward to using his services in the future.

I really wanted to leave a 5 star rating and in all fairness the floor turned out looking very good.
They are definitely very busy and are booked 2 weeks in advance and seem to be doing many floors simultaneously.
After notifiying Nate that a corner was missing clearcoat he has since fixed it. This is a good sign that he cares about making his customers happy.
My primary complaint was the layer of dust generated from the hand grinding. Nathan told me that it would be messy but I didn’t realize how messy. He has since offered to have it cleaned up.

We’re very pleased with how our epoxy floor turned out. Nathan and Ryan took great care in preparing the surface — which included grinding down through adhesive. Nathan was good in keeping us updated as to the timeline and explained the processes along the way. Thanks guys!

Easy choice here. Their technical knowledge was immediately apparent on the first call and they were just very pleasant to deal with overall. They were also extremely accommodating on scheduling. I’m in the OC and was looking for great epoxy work for my rental in SD. My trips down the 405 are seldom and with my hectic schedule, Nu Garage peeps were flexible and accommodating; they were able to reschedule without any fuss. In regards to the finished product/​epoxy floor, they only use high quality material which is extremely important to me. My garage looks great and I’m eating off the floor as I’m typing this review (I’m not, but it’s so clean that I could).

After receiving a few estimates we decided to go with Nathan as he was prompt and was very knowledgable. My husband owns his own landscape construction company so he’s very picky on who does any work on our house. Our garage floor looks absolutely amazing. He also added racks so we can still store our garage stuff and it does not interfere with the Ping pong table or darts. I’m so relieved on how fast Nathan finished the job so now my husband can have his man cave:-)

These guys will only do epoxy flooring. I asked for an estimate for overhead garage racks and after speaking with Nathan, it sounded like he was interested and that he’d call me back. NOT. He was reticent after I told him I didn’t want the epoxy floor (I already have it). He may be good for epoxy but I won’t trust someone who doesn’t set proper expectations — when you stay you’ll call back, call back. It’s that simple. I’m in sales and I don’t treat my customers like that. Note to Nathan, take off your advertisement for rack storage if you don’t want to do them.

I probably would have given Nathan 5 stars before the job even started. What I liked most was his knowledge and clear explanation of the process. Once he was onsite, things went well. The job took a little longer than originally anticipated, but I appreciated that because he wanted to make sure that it was done right. I would definitely recommend Nu Garage to anyone who is thinking about having their garage floor epoxied.

I got my Garage Epoxied with Nathan.
Nathan is very knowledgeable about Epoxy work and he understands very well all engineering concepts with the garage floor. He did excellent job with my flooring.
He also recommended great color and pattern which looks great on my flooring.
To start with I was not much knowledgeable about Epoxy Floors, Nathan explained me everything about the process and gave me confidence about getting it right.
He did great job.

UPDATE:
I got a reply from the owner stating that they had a phone upgrade that did not go as smoothly as they’d hoped, hence the reason for their unresponsiveness. As an IT guy by trade, I can empathize with that situation. Thus, I have decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them 5 stars, because as I said below, I hate to ruin a 5-​star review streak. That, and the company I did eventually go with did an abysmal job.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I hate to spoil a 5-​star review streak, but it appears that the lights are on, but no one’s home.
The toll-​free number just rings and rings. I have yet to receive a reply to the contact form I completed on their website two days ago, and when calling the San Diego phone number on their website, I get a message that their voicemail box has not been set up yet.
That’s a shame. The reviews are glowing, and the photos are awesome, but I guess I’ll have to go with someone else.

Nathan did an excellent job installing an epoxy floor in my garage. I didn’t realize the number of steps it takes to do the job right, but Nathan did just that. He took his time, was diligent on each step of the process, and did an excellent job. I recommend him highly, and will refer him when the opportunity arises.
