No Butts About It

This place is an awesome hidden gem of a vape shop literally as it was sort of in a hard to find location. I stopped by after work in need of rewraps for my batteries. This place has an amazing array of delicious liquids as well as an great selection of mechanical and variable power mods. I’m glad to have come across this shop because their service and knowledge of vape safety is superb. Definitely gained a customer for as long as they stay in business.

Ben is a great guy… But the prices are different every time… Sometimes I’ll pay $ 15 for a premium bottle of juice… Same juice next time is $ 18… More consistency would warrant a better rating.

I walked in the shop with little knowledge on what to purchase. I walked out very satisfied with everything I purchased and the time they spent with me to make sure I got what was right for me both quality and budget. I really love the place very friendly and customer service is exceptional. This is my shop.

Just thought I would write an update since I have been going here a lot over the past six months or so…
So, here is the update:
Ya, this place is totally real and legit! I have been here about ten or so times since my first visit and nothing has changed (and that is a good thing!)
Service is top notch! The owner really knows his stuff! There is no over sale or anything like that. If you are new to the vape experience, he will take the time to walk you through the process to set you up with what suits your needs. If you are experienced and just need supplies, it’s as easy as walking in to get what you want and getting out fast. All I can say is this business is true and honest with quality, price and service.
Now, after reading other reviews, I just must feel that I need to say this little bit again… Ya, you can find things online for a ‘slightly’ less price. However, once you consider in shipping cost and time, along with zero personal service, you are not saving anything. Here you get what you want with excellent personal service on the spot! Nothing can beat that! It is a true mom and pop store, and a local business.
I don’t see myself going anywhere else, based on all the things I stated above. Love this place, love the owner and his knowledge and personal service, and great product at a great price. This is the definition of a local business.

This is the only shop I have ever had to write two reviews on. First off, when I come here, I pray to God that Ben doesn’t have anything I want… But he always does. With that being said, I’m never disappointed in the money I spend here… I always get quality products from juice to mods.
I came in today because I thought my new snow wolf 200w (in the color I want of course) wasn’t working properly… Well I wasn’t working it properly and Ben, as always, takes the time away from whatever he maybe doing to show me how to work mods or tanks the right way. I trust Ben and today I decided to advance in my vaping to rebuilding and dripping. Once again Ben stopped what he was doing to give me a crash course on RDAs and made sure that I got the best RDA to learn on. However, I don’t trust myself on it so I will most likely make him my soul builder. MY NEW MOD AND RDA CHUCK! i can’t believe the cloud and flavor production, I have been missing out! Thank you so much for taking the time to work with me and my obsessions with vaping!
Debi, love the new menu and the business cards you took the time to make for the shop. Always love to be wonderfully greeted by you as soon as I walk through that door. You always make sure I have the best juice I want for my very specific taste… (I’m pretty picky about juices) thank you for letting me try all the juices over and over again until I finally pick one.

You gave my dog water and whenever I come back to San Diego, I’ll come back here, No butts about it! ;) you guys put EVERY (Arizona) vape shop to shame with your stellar customer service and excellent juice selection. This shop is NOT The best… But it’s my FAVORITE! Great staff. Great selection on anything vape related. Real cool small spot with real cool people. Always helpful and always welcoming. That’s why I go back!

Only a star because I have to give it something. RANT AHEAD: what a HORRIBLE management and customer service appeal. If you like yellow-​bellied liars that like to talk crap about other vape shops and their products right out the gate then look no further. (Mind you I had to come to this shop because my preferred shop was out of what i was looking for, not their fault, but my preferred shop referred me down the way to this shop, a NORMAL business practice when you support the vaping community) Let’s get real: NO PRICES STANDARD so if they don’t like the way you sneeze they can charge you WHATEVER they want. Oh and even slightly mention that you are military and they change the prices even more… and not in a good way. Waste of space in Point Loma for sure. #byefelicia

The coolest dude i have ever met. Nothing but white pearly smiles from the owner at this shop. Super helpful and just the nicest guy i ever met. i would highly recommend this shop all the latest juices and best gear around!

This is my new go-​to Vape shop. I’ve been a customer of at least 10 other shops over the last couple years, but I’m sure I won’t be going anywhere else from now on.
Ben’s workshop is really a sight to behold. There are vice clamps, and air compressors, wires, display cases, a nice tasting bar, and even a fish tank. I encourage anyone new or experienced to wander in, have a seat in one of the old-​time barber chairs, and strike up a conversation with Ben and his wife. You’ll find exactly what you need here.

This place is super comfortable and legit!!! Ben def knows his trade and they sell quality mods at competitive prices. Don’t be fooled by one or two bad reviews. Listen to the masses on this one and check them out!

Love this place. My go to shop for all my vape needs. They have a good selection of juice, and a nice lineup of mods. The service it is the best in town.

It’s ok, hard place to get to for the most part. They sell mechanical mods mostly and I look for VV/​VW mods mostly. The selections isn’t very big from the mods and juices. The place is fairly clean but does have it’s share of people that hang around the place. This place is more well suited for a older group of people because I couldn’t imagine anyone below 35 parlaying for more the 5 minutes at a time.

Saw this place a few times next to the local dive I go. Took a stroll up and I’m kicking myself for not having visited before. Great selection, chill vibe, great owner. Had a great time and had to walk out with juice and a new box. Will be back soon.

He’s got all the basics to get you going as well as all the latest and greatest higher end stuff to boot. His juice selection is among the best in San Diego and it seems like every time I go in he’s got something new to try!
Perhaps the coolest part of the shop is their commitment to helping folks kick smoking by switching to this safer alternative. It’s also just a great place to stop by and hangout at after work — kind of like a bar or cigar lounge.
So if you’re new to the game and are just curious as to how all this works, stop by this shop as they aren’t intimidating like others and are willing to take their time to teach you how everything works and when you’re ready to get started they can set you up at a great price!

It’s great it has a massive selection of vapes, rda’s, rba’s, tanks and all that fun stuff at the stores atmosphere is great and welcomeing. I feel the gentleman behind the counter needs a little bit of time to get adjusted to because he can be a little off, but once you talk to him a bit he’s a great guy and very helpful

DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR ALL YOUR VAPING NEEDS! In my opinion, there is no better vape store than No Butts About It & here’s why:
I found out No Butts About It! from my boss. I recently bought a starter vape pen in hopes of kicking the cig habit and due to the nicotine content of the oil I had purchased with the pen, found myself not using it and still smoking cigarettes. So, I asked for a referral to a vape place from my boss, who sent me directly to No Butts About It.
As a newbie to the vape culture, it can be overwhelming to walk in to a vape store and have nothing but questions. I walked in to the store and felt a little lost, but my mind was immediately set at ease when Ben walked up to greet me. Ben is, hands down, just a really nice person. He’s super knowledgeable about everything vape and was super helpful in tasting different oils and recommending a nicotine level for me, based on my smoking habits.
Debbie joined us a few minutes into my shopping experience and she, too, is one of the nicest people you could ever meet! The 3 of us talked about flavors, other people’s preferences when trying to quit smoking cigarettes, etc. Debbie brought out her vape and even taught me some new vape lingo! (I learned what a «mod» is — the pen or battery pack portion of the vape — yes, I’m very green to vaping)
Ben and Debbie did not every try and oversell me, which I appreciated. I did end up buying a new tank (which was a step up from what I had been using with my starter pen) and 3 different oils. They talked to me about the differences in mods, but really stressed I needed to first get of cigs, AND use my vape before I went crazy on a new mod purchase.
Both Ben and Debbie were so encouraging — and invited me to call or come back in to see them if I have massive cravings. What sweet, nice, caring people.
Above all, they are GENUINE! As I was leaving (and was in the parking lot), Ben yelled out to me from the business, «Kelly!» I turned around and he said, «Wait, I have something else for you.» Walking back towards the business, he came out and handed me a new pen-​style mod, as my mod was not completely charged at the time of my visit!
I have NEVER had any business treat me this well — they treat their customers like family. I really felt they have my best interest at heart with my new endeavor and it’s amazing how such a small simple gesture can really make your day.
My boyfriend and I are slowly getting into vaping — as long as I live in San Diego, I will never go any other store besides No Butts About It — Ben and Debbie have made a customer for life! I can’t thank them enough for their care and kindness!

Great shop with good selections. Has great cottons and wires and the prices are fair. I understand you can probably get stuff online for cheaper but I can spend a couple extra bucks to help out a small business as you should too! Also offer a military discount which always gets a thumbs up with me. Great owners that are always super friendly and helpful. Really knows their stuff. Just down the street from the point loma naval base so I go here on lunch all the time. Vape on!
