Ask for Tony! He did an amazing job with my little impatient son. My son definitely gave him trouble during his hair cut but he was very patient with him and made him laugh and even me lol Great place for kids haircuts. I recommend this barber shop and Tony. :)

Awesome barbershop. Highly recommended. They always have a good positive environment. My always go to guy is Allen aka Warrior. He has been cutting my hair for over a year now, I always walk out the shop satisfied. He’s a busy guy so I would recommend making an appointment with him.

I started coming here ever since my other barber went away. The only thing I have to say about this place is wow. The barbers do an amazing job they take their time and make you feel like family. Personally I like the barber there that goes by Allen I never know how to cut my hair and the dude just has a good eye for what looks the best. Props !

Don’t expect supercuts speed, because these guys give you three times the time and detail for a great price. You can’t go wrong with any of these guys Johnny and warrior are both great. Call in advance and make an appointment, help the barbers and yourself.

I been going to new era since I was a kid… they got some of the best Barbers in san diego… I enjoy my time there it’s not only a fun loving atmosphere but it is also very professional at the same time each barber takes pride in their work and I have never walked out of there unsatisfied barber shop has character and there’s always laughs literally every time I leave that place I walked out feeling brand new with a fresh cut… these Barbers are not only my friends there advice givers and they keep it real… ain’t no place like new era… book you app today and I promise you get what u pay for

Excellence and customer Satisfaction is what every barber shop should be striving for, unfortunately the majority of barber shops in San Diego are ran by egotistical barbers who Rather put their efforts to look good on social platforms than to look good in there own shop, they let there «Followers“and «likes» get the best of them and for some reason they think they are above the average Joe! It’s honestly hard to go in a shop as a new customer and expect to find an honest, sympathetic barber that will not only focus on providing a professional haircut but to actually carry on the Title of being a REAL barber, the barbers that want to be part of your life and ask you how your son or daughter is doing, or how the new job is working out, for Damn sure you won’t find those barbers at a mall ! I hate to even disclose this hidden lil gem but I know for a fact most clients are no where near happy with there current barber! Give this place a try and I bet you won’t go anywhere else! Make sure to ask for a business card after your first cut to be able to schedule an appointment for future visits so you won’t have to wait, all the barbers here are extremely talented, my go to guy for years now is @barberLouieP not only has he mastered every trending style but also works with you to create your own custom hairstyle and always seems intrigued as to how things are going for his clients, ! I’ve been there twice. Both times we have waited a ridiculous amount of time for just a hair cut (I took my husband/​then my dad). The waiting is crazy and the amount of time they take working on a person’s hair is to wait for couple of hours. We didn’t get much friendly welcoming. They only welcome old customers and not the new ones. Ohh I almost forgot, they have no magazines to pick hairstyles so make sure you bring some.
