Pretty remarkable car buying experience. I bought an ’08 Prius from Mike, at a private party price. But the price wasn’t the five star experience. Like any dealer, Mike too care of all the paperwork, but he did so with pleasant, clear, seemingly authentic communication.
The level of service extended beyond the purchase date. Two days after I drove the car away I had a problem with headlight condensation and a burnt HID … a ~$ 400 fix. I let Mike know about my issue, and didn’t ask for anything in turn, simply wanted him to make sure future pre-​sale inspections covered the issue (as it’s a common issue in ’07-’09 Pruis). Instead of simply apologizing, Mike picked the car up in the morning, left a loaner, and fixed the issue on his own dime. A stand up salesman, who goes well beyond what he has to.

Although we didn’t buy a car from him this time (my husband just bought a car from him a few months ago) We were looking for a specific type of vehicle with specific wants in it and Mike searched all over trying to help us find what we were looking for. He sent me emails of possibilities and bid on a few at the auction for us. Mike is super helpful and goes the extra mile to accommodate his customers from the get go. I would highly recommend him to friends and family and will definitely keep him in mind for future car needs.

Mike is AmaZing! I saw an ad on craigslist that led me to his dealership. I couldn’t have been luckier! From first contact he was cordial and super quick to respond. We made a prompt appointment and the photos did not lie about the car — it was in incredible condition. Mike answered all my questions and truly soothed many of my worries. I have been screwed over before with car stuff (leasing, buying, dealers, shipping cars cross country and pacific) — So I came to him a bit apprehensive and wasn’t willing to buy immediately. There was no pressure, no games, and no bullish*t. After trying to shop the market and realizing I was NOT going to get A BETTER DEAL. I texted Mike and we made a deal. He offers assurance and extended warranties on his vehicles. I am from out of state (Hawaii) moving to Oregon and had questions about sales tax and plates in California. He was able to provide solid solutions. Even if I had found another car within $ 700 difference I was still willing to give him my money because I felt taken care of. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I too own my own business and I appreciate all the effort and sincerity.

I went with my daughter to look at a Jetta and she loved it. fully loaded, perfect color and the price was right! It’s always hard being a woman and getting ripped off by a used car dealer.
We were on guard and skeptical but Mike was down to earth, funny and a gentleman. no pressure. I pointed out a few concerns and he addressed them immediately. Mike went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and even filled the tank and washed the car. Highly recommend My Ride Motors!

This is how buying a car should be! We had a great experience with Mike and we love our 09 Mini Cooper. Mike is very friendly and genuine and I loved that when we showed up for the appt he was as relaxed as could be and that also put us at ease. My girlfriend had a minor discrepancy with the car and Mike went out of his way to address it, and In my opinion he was more than fair. I would highly recommend him to anyone, and if I’m in the market again, I know where I’m checking first.

Found his ad on Craigslist for an 08 VW Passat and bought it that day! Had been looking for a vehicle for about a month and always found some reason I wasn’t comfortable with either the car, the dealership or the salesman. Did not have any of those problems at all dealing with Mike. Told him the console for the back seat wouldn’t open and it was taken care of as well as an oil change and a full up on the gas tank. Super nice guy and extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

I found My Ride Motors through USAA’s car buying service for military veterans and their families. I needed a more fuel efficient daily driver. He gave me a great deal on my trade in (pretty much the best one i could find), and an even better deal on a used car that basically looks/​feels brand new. He provided me with a 3 month warrantee on engine/​drivetrain when I bought it, free of charge. I thought there would be a hiccup when the day after I bought the car, the passenger airbag light came on. I gave him a text and he came to my home right away and picked up the car. He took it to his mechanic and had it fixed, as well as gave me a loaner car to drive in the meantime. When I got my car back, it was re-​detailed, and had a full tank of gas.
I definitely plan to use him as my go-​to-​guy for used vehicles in the future. I pretty much recommend him to all my friends at this point. Bonus points, he’s also a really nice guy. Very considerate.
