We booked Deondre for our wedding and he was beyond amazing. He did all the MC services for the evening and really got everyone involved. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. He really knows how to read the crowd and see what everyone wants to hear. The music was amazing and working with My DJs was super easy. They are very accommodating and have a really helpful website to put in your song requests as well as a day of timeline and payments system. They also provided lighting and a photobooth for our wedding. Everything worked out perfectly and I cannot wait to have another event where I can use them again!

My husband planned a surprise 30^th birthday party for me over the weekend. He booked DJ Earl for the big event and he did not disappoint! I loved the lights and all the different song choices he had! The guests had fun dancing and singing karaōke! My husband was impressed with his equipment! I loved that Earl came up to introduce himself, say happy birthday to me and ask if I had any special requests. He even played a slow song so my hubby and I could enjoy a dance together. What a great night it was and we are so glad DJ Earl was there to make it fun and memorable! I highly recommend him!

We had the pleasure to work with Israel Florence and we all loved his outgoing personality, he kept everyone on the dance floor. Even my grandma was dancing. He played all the right music at the right times. All of my guest still talk about how fun he was. If you want to have an amazing night pic Israel as your DJ. THANK YOU ISRAEL

DJ Flo made our wedding reception exceptionally awesome! He was welcoming and fun when we first met him for our DJ inquiries at MY DJs. He guided us on how to use their program /​music organizer software. Explained in detail the information he needs to know from us, and he was open to our expectations. He has done an excellent job in setting up the reception up-​lighting and monograms. The sound quality and music mixes were superb! He was cool with impromptu program add-​ons. He was responsive to our guests’ vibes though out the whole time, from the cocktail hour to the last dance. He was energetic in leading line dances. He has a way of keeping everyone entertained. All our family and friends had fun dancing all night long, that sometimes the dance floor did not have enough space to accommodate all those dancing shoes :) Hands-​down, all of us had fun in our wedding, Thank You DJ Flo! A special shout-​out to Gerrilynne who was very responsive to all our inquiries! Thank you MY DJs!

I can’t say enough positive things about our experience with My DJs. We got to work with DJ Israel — he was so much fun and absolutely made our wedding that much better. So many of our guests had compliments about him and had the best time. He really kept the night moving and had people on the dance floor at all times. He did a soul train line and the pictures are fantastic! The photobooth was great too, our guests had a lot of fun with it. I would recommend this company and DJ Israel to any of my friends! The price is great for what you get with their services. Thank you so much!!!

DJ DeOndre won us over from the first meeting. His attention to detail, taste in music and mixing skills were amazing. We were very excited about having him DJ our big day! All in all the day was perfect, DJ played fun songs that got most people on the dance floor and he did a good job hosting.
Most of our guests didn’t hear main announcements, like cake and garter tossing. He could have lowered the music to make it more known/​louder announced.
Also, what is the point of having us spend hours picking out songs on our Must, Would Like and Do Not Play list… if, you want to «please the older crowd». We paid you, not them.

Disappointing you could not just simply own the problem. Mine was not a single inquiry as indicated in my original review. In addition to the numerous unanswered inquiries from you, the bride received no follow up from the DJ following her in-​person consultation nor the administrator, despite indicating her interest in booking his services and after reaching out to both.

Dj Earl delivered a horrible product of his photo booth. He is a great sales man but a rude person and delivers a crappy product. At cocktail hour we had multiple guests complain he played the same songs over and over. The photo booth lacked sufficient props and our pictures came out with peoples heads chopped off on the top of them. Once we wrote our other review DJ Earl made excuses and tried to blame us for his mistakes and lack of preparedness for our wedding. He did try to bribe us with a partial reimbursement but only if he took down the negative review of his company. I would have gladly made an amendment saying he compensated us but since he was so rude, condescending and full of excuses for why things went wrong we said no. Maybe that is why there are only good reviews on here, because he pays the bad ones off?

It was a pleasure working with «My DJs» for our December wedding! Our wedding coordinator Gina Hundley recommended we use them for our wedding, and we are glad we did! Gerrilynne would always seem available to answer our calls and would also answer any questions we had, and emails, pretty quickly.
DJ Shy MC’d and DJ’d our wedding and we were lucky to have him! He was personable and made sure he had what we wanted, and coordinated the music/​event times with our wedding coordinator. We were very specific about what we wanted to be played, and he took the time to find it! We asked that 80’s music be played while our guests sat for the ceremony, but the music had to be similar to the Vitamin String Quartet. DJ Shy did it! To get our party started, we asked that the wedding march be played, to get people up and on the dance floor, but we asked for a VERY SPECIFIC version that didn’t sound like circus music. He found it! He kept our guests on the dance floor ALL night, and you rarely saw guests sitting and taking a break! He knew how to get our guests involved and kept them, and us, happy all night!!! Everyone said they had a BLAST!!!
The only thing that I wish would have gone smoother, was the microphone for the ceremony. Earl had stated that a sound guy would be there to assist our DJ, but I’m not sure what he did. Our guests were not able to hear the ceremony, and it took a while to get the mic started for the Maid of Honor & Best Man speeches. After the wedding, my husband spoke with Earl & he was apologetic for the issue & provided us with a credit for our troubles.
Thanks to Gyerrilynne, Earl & DJ Shy for making it such a wonderful experience to work with My DJ’s! We had a great time and wish we could do it all over again!

DJ Steve did a great job with our wedding– he was flexible with all the changes we made up to the day before, and did a great job with the music. At the time of the wedding he did a great job keeping the energy up and the party moving.
The ceremony was awesome and went without any issues. Since our location was outside (and had no power) we did not get a lapel mic, but it worked just great anyways.
One of the best things about My DJs is that they have a bunch of planning forms for you to fill out and make sure all the details are covered for your wedding– we found this especially helpful since we didn’t have a wedding coordinator.

Deondre was the DJ/​MC for our wedding in June 2015. We were very specific about the songs, artists and times when we wanted them played. He absolutely nailed it. Who can mix Hall and Oates, Miguel, and Sade during cocktail hour and have people of all demographics asking who your DJ is. I highly recommend him for your wedding.

Earl was the absolute best! Hands down the best DJ ever! We hired My DJs for our wedding this past weekend. I cannot express how thankful I am to have found My DJs. Everyone loved Earl! Every song was a hit and had everyone on the dance floor! Couldnt have asked for a better Dj. The music during our cocktail hour and dinner was completely us! Thanks so much Earl for personalizing our wedding day! Thank you Earl for making our wedding absolutely amazing!

DJ Josh was fantastic!
When we first met with Josh in the studio, he handled me and my very excited fiancé as well as anyone can. We both LOVE music and have an eclectic taste in a wide variety of music. Josh provided us with a dope sample mix and from that moment, we were SO jazzed about the wedding music!
On the day of the wedding, Josh set up his portable DJ stuff to play our processional music and he did a perfect job. In addition to the DJ’ing, Josh was a fantastic MC and kept the party moving! But wait, there’s more! We opted for karaōke at our reception as well and the music selection was PERFECT! As if that wasn’t enough, we also rented a photo booth. Mario was excellent in getting people pumped and having fun with the photo booth!
I loved when both Josh and Mario jumped into dancing with us!
Me and my husband are both high energy and hard to keep up with, but Josh and Mario did a great job keeping us and our guests entertained!

Where do I start with this review?
Let me begin by saying I’m pretty busy and last minute decided to throw my son a graduation party. I sent out invites on ⁶⁄₁ for a party on ⁶⁄₁₄.
I looked for a DJ and found My DJs. At first I was hesitant based on the fact that they were really affordable. Everyone else was charging 30% — 50% more for the same services. So what changed on my hesitation? I reviewed the majority of the Unilocalers, not 5, but probably 15… just to make sure I knew what I was getting myself into… Then I went onto their website. I’m always weary of .net, don’t ask me why, I just am… but after going through their website, reviewing all the pictures, services, various DJ’s etc., I said, «What the heck? Go for it!»
SUPER EASY BREEZY
I used their online reservation system to get a quote, which was really helpful for budgeting purposes. I got a response back almost immediately via email to confirm receipt, then a follow up email from Gerrilynne with details on the DJ who would be available, deposits, contracts, services, etc.
Paid deposit through Pay Pal and Gerrilynne confirmed within an hour or two that deposit was received and we were set. I got a password to go through the party time line, music we would like played at what time, etc…
How awesome was that? I would say pretty awesome!
THE DJ
We got DJ Deondre and I will say, I think we hit the jack pot! He was energetic, interacted with the crowd and played music we wanted!
He was also really flexible and stayed an additional hour.
Deondre reached out to me I think on Wednesday before the event, and I called him back on Saturday to finalize the details. And you know what, he was FLEXIBLE, ATTENTIVE, and didn’t show he was at all irritated that I called back on the 7^th hour (cause I would have been irritated).
He was friendly, professional, energetic… what else can I say?
Would I use them again? YES, YES, YES!
Should you use them? YES, YES, YES!

We met DJ Joshua Duncan at the Bridal Bazaar in Del Mar. We explained to him our musical style and he knew exactly what we wanted. When we scheduled our first meeting with him, it was like we were hanging out with an old friend. We laughed and had a good time. He really worked with us and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. The day of the wedding (2÷21÷2015) he set up everything exactly how we envisioned it and we didn’t have to tell him anything. The up lighting was perfect. the Gobo was perfect and the music was outstanding. He set the mood perfect during the dinner and no one left the dance floor when he started playing the dance music. The DJ makes the reception; he is in charge of the flow and fun of everything. choosing the RIGHT DJ is essential for a successful reception. Choose Josh!!! We love you JOSH!

DJ Earl was the DJ for our Barristers’ Ball (law school prom) on 2÷28÷15 and he kept the dance floor packed all night! The moment he dropped the first song, it was like an avalanche of humans to the center of the room. He clearly knows what songs to play and when.
His staff was also very helpful and professional. Leading up to the event, it was easy to get in contact with them and have my questions answered. I had no doubt leading up to the event we were going to have a wonderful night!

My Wife and I used MYDJ’s for our wedding, and we had a great experience. We worked with Earl and Josh, and they were both great and awesome to work with. Josh was at the wedding on time, was super professional, played great music which he customized to what we wanted, and was very helpful and easy to work with. Our wedding coordinator said they were her favorite vendor to work with. Our friends said the dance party was awesome.
If you’re looking for a DJ, I highly recommend using this company.

DJ Josh was fantastic at our wedding reception on October 18^th. The company was easy to work with, very professional, and Josh surpassed our expectations!!!
Somehow Josh managed to have the dance floor filled throughout the night despite the variety of friends and family we have with VERY different musical tastes! He followed our «do not play» list and took requests from guests throughout the evening.

AMAZING! DJ Earl was the DJ for my ¹⁰⁄₁₂ wedding and he is absolutely fantastic. The music he played was exactly what we were looking for and it kept everybody moving on the dance floor all night long.
We had a tragedy with the other photo booth that we hired, but DJ Earl saved the day! He had one of his photo booth attendants come all the way down to SD from Oceanside just to bring us a photo booth and it was so much fun. DJ Earl also provided uplighting for our venue and it was perfect. My only regret is that I did not book my photo booth through My DJs to begin with!
DJ Earl is professional, prompt and exceptional at what he does. Thank you DJ Earl for everything you did to make our wedding as seamless and wonderful as possible.

Played background music for the cocktail hour, was master of ceremony for the reception and had everyone dancing! The bride made a slide show, Earl put it to music and showed it during dinner. He was efficient and made our event a 10 out of 10! Our guest raved about the dance party! Book Earl!
