After reading the reviews here, I was determined to find some warm clothing for my pup and to my disappointment at my arrival there were barely any clothes there. I don’t know if the reviewer was just listing all the things most pet stores have, but don’t write something if it ain’t there. I am just glad I didn’t come here only for this store because it’s not just a drive down the street it’s a good twenty minutes from my humble abode. Also, the store is quite small and there’s not much variety here. Petco it is.

The Muttique has everything you need for your pet and everyone is welcome. They have per food, treats, toys, collars, leashes, etc. I love that I am supporting the animals at the Humane Society when I shop there.

Finally, a pet store that really benefits the animals :)
I stop by this place daily to get my morning coffee and touch of personal barista service. Yes, they have a barrista, just like starbucks (in fact, a previous manager from a SB) — only it costs me $ 1 for my morning joe instead of $ 4.
Also, you dont have to walk inside the store for the coffee, its right outside in the coffee cart at the parking lot for driver-​bys like me :)
Not only is the service and price great for their AM Coffee — you can leave and enjoy your drink knowing that the proceeds went to help our furry four legged friends.

Like the name indicates, Muttique has a limited selection of accessories, toys and food for a range of animals that are a little different from the regular pet store fare. The pets that they stock for include dogs, cats and rabbits. Instead of shelves piled with Iams and Alpo, they have gluten-​free/​Paleo, Natural Balance and other limited ingredient diet foods for your dogs. The dog bowls, treats and toys are more fancy and priced higher to match than plain jane stuff. Custom pet tags are $ 6.50 or free if you adopt[ed] an animal at the SPCA.

Yep, I spend a lot of time at the humane society… volunteering, going to obedience classes, or just checking out all the new arrivals and wishing I had room for more pets.
Well, it is these times that I wander on into the Muttique and realize that I need something for my cocker spaniel or the bunnies and this place saves the day. Oliver (the spaniel) enjoys shopping there as well.
They pretty much have whatever you need… litter for cats and little critters, dog treats, toys, clothes, food, and odd gadgets.
Even better… seasonal items… I bought my dog’s holiday sweater there and some gifts for friends who support the SPCA. I even bought a Halloween costume for my dog there once.
They have trainging items like clickers and harnesses. Further, they put my dogs tags on his collar… and that is quite the painful job.
Finally the best part… a portion of the proceeds benefit the humane society. This is a great place to consider rather than going to you local luxury pet boutique.
