Mr Fix It

Even though I read some reviews about not being prompt and general flake, II decided to give them a call because there were no complaints about their work. Well I called and he picked up right away so I thought OK. Well I described my needs and hew said he was on a job but had Friday morning available. We agreed he would text me back with the time he would arrive. Well, I never heard from him again. So, I will be looking for another handyman to take care of my needs. Just felt compelled to write this review so others would understand my experience.

Very disappointing.
Came to the house an hour and a half after we scheduled an appointment. Still though I would give him a try and we agreed to start the job in a few days. Needed to do it pretty urgent because of the tenants moving in. Never shown up and never called before of after. Would put 0 starts if I could.

Called Mr. Fix it. He picked up the phone right away. Beautiful! One star on the book. Said he could have my appliance fixed the next day. Another star added. His partner came and fixed and appliance and it worked fine. Another star added – we are at 3 stars now – let’s keep this up, Mr. Fix it!!! His partner didn’t give the person who let him in the receipt. He didn’t leave a receipt! Uh oh – deduct half a star. Texted Mr. Fix It multiple times to email me the receipt. No response from Mr. Fix It. Deduct another half star. Will not use again.

Been very happy with my services from Mr Fix It. When I had a new office and needed a few odd jobs, like installing an ac unit and helping fix a couple windows which were stuck. It was quickly dialed in so that I could enjoy using the space. If you want to have it done right the 1^st x, I would highly recommend these guys.
2^nd x I used their services, was to make small home improvements on the house, including fixing some of our small plumbing issues like a faulty diverter and hardware that needed to be changed out, screens needing to be fixed. It is really appreciated to have someone show up on time and take care of any household repairs in a timely manner. Thank you mr fix it! :)

Jeff and every member of his crew are amaizing! Very responsive, professional, punctual, respectful and do amazing work. I recommended them to a few clients and all now my clients are recommending them to others.

We have been and will continue to recommend Mr. Fix It for any household’s handyman needs. No matter how big or small the job, Jeff and his entire Mr. Fix It team have provided consistent and clean workmanship, have been timely, very personable and trustworthy. We had numerous jobs around our personal condo and condo complex from exterior stucco patchwork, plumbing repairs for both our home and the complex common area, gutter and roof drainage repairs, kitchen cabinet refinishing and installation, interior drywall and finishes, security gate repairs and much more. Jeff, Roland, Juan, Greg and Terry in particular continue to be an absolute pleasure to work with and get the job done every time.

I cannot say enough about Jeff and his incredible team. They have been working in my home doing a bathroom remodel and Rowland and DJ have been so dilligent in getting everything done and doing it the absolute right way. They have come up with ideas and ways to improve my bathroom that I hadn’t thought of, and all are extremely professional and courteous. I would 100% recommend for any job, big or small.

This is the first time I’ve written a Unilocal review, and I really wish it was under better circumstances. It’s not the work itself that gets the negative review in this case, but the overall unprofessional manner and general flakiness that wasted my time… over and over again. My landlord chose this repair service, and so I really did not have much of a say in the matter, but I think I would rather pay out of pocket for future repairs than deal with this hassle. At least 3 times did this repair service simply not show up on an agreed-​upon time. Not even a cancellation call. I had to call him, and ask when he would be coming, only to learn that «something came up» and that he wouldn’t be coming at all. And did I mention this happened on TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS about one year apart (I asked my landlord after the first episode to choose another repair service, and will down right demand another one be used for any future repairs). I understand that contract work is unpredictable, but to not even offer the courtesy of following up with your appointments, knowing that I have a busy schedule too, is unbelievable. As for the work, the project was easy and took about 30 minutes, so I don’t know if he did anything special. I do know it took 5 days and at least 3 missed appointments to get this last project done however. Just simply not worth it, unless you have the time to waste.

I had to call and actually follow up on when and where I needed help. After confirming one day and having to push to the next day which slid to the afternoon, I ended up doing most of the work myself and still paying the minimum when the rep arrived. On a good note, they were nice.

I originally selected Mr. Fix It because their location was so close to my home. Jeff is a very personable man of his word. When a complication arose, he more than made up for it. His man Greg performed critical plumbing repairs beneath my house and small repairs within the home. Rowland then installed a new ceramic tile kitchen floor that far exceeded my expectations. Good, honest work for very reasonable cost. I will undoubtedly use them for any future projects.

he really knows how to get the job done. hes a no bullshit kind of attitude. .he has integrity and very reasonable prices.
