I took my 2010 Triumph Street Triple in for a 25K service and was very impressed by the owner. He took the time to talk to me about what they were going to go through and what i should expect when it was completed. In addition to the service (Which included valve adjustments) he took extra time to replace the bolts on my cam chain tensioner and re-​tension it at no extra cost. He ended up replacing my worn down back tire as well and I came out with everything for under $ 700. Needless to say i was impressed. I hope his shop sticks around for at least as long as i am riding.

Great guys did it on time! Picked my 4 wheeler up dropped it off and stuck to the price they said! Nice work guys

went there to get my chain and sprockets replaced the work was fast and very reasonably priced this my third time there and will continue to go there for all my bike repairs they are fair honest and very friendly will recommended to everyone for repairs and sales I would give more than five stars if I could

I would like to thank drazen&rick at motozone! Who at a moments notice installed tires on my gsxr1000 at a fair price and with excellent care!!.I asked about an oil change also, and they were able to do! once again with no appointment… thanks guys!

I bought a Buddy 150 CC Scooter from a friend that hadn’t been ridden in four or more years. It was in great shape but totally gummed up from sitting so long. I dealt with Drazen, one of the mechanics. He was GREAT! He took the bike under his wing almost as a personal project. He charged me minimal hours in comparison to how much time he put into the bike. I had to bring it back a few times due to parts being ordered but he would make sure it ran the best with the lack of (or damaged) parts that were in the engine at the time. I was able to ride the scooter everywhere while I waited for parts to arrive from Taiwan. In the end, now, I have a screaming scooter that runs like a top! Thanks Drazen and Rick!
Motozone also sells some nice bikes, helmets, jackets and street riding gear. Not too many scooters except for a couple of big ones.
All my future scooter business goes to you guys! I think when the time comes to upgrade to a real motorcycle, I will definitely give these guys first shot. I recommend you do too!

This has to be the best place in San Diego for any of your motorcycle needs. I have a 13′ bmw s1000rr. And Motozone takes great care of me. From tires to custom mods, all their work is clean.5 Stars fa sure.

Called them and asked that they get a battery filled and on the charger for me as I would need it installed in between service calls. They did and got it installed and on my way to my next service call. Good job guys.

Thanks to the guys at motozone! I have a 2005 Honda 49cc Metropolitan that had sat for months without being used. It was barely running. I brought it in and they cleaned up my carburetor and sent me on my way. I can’t believe how good it runs!
Very honest, which is hard to find.

I had just purchased a 2006 Yamaha V-​Star 1100 Silverado from an auto auction (of all places) in Otay, San Diego. The bike had to be jumped to start and the auction used a machine and connected it to the starter. Rode the bike home (20 minute ride). I tried to ride it again about 3 hours later and it wouldn’t start! Of course, panic started to set in… Remaining calm (and having experience with motorcycles as I also own a Ducati Dark Monster 750), I went online and started extensively searching to isolate problems. After a lot of searching, I was CONFIDENT that the bike had a bad electronic fuel pump! CONFIDENT!
I searched around on Unilocal to find a shop nearby and came across Motozone. After reading about a $ 20 towing service to pick up my bike (within a certain distance which fortunately I was), I called Motozone and spoke with Ivan the owner.
He came to my house the next morning (Thursday) and immediately tried to start it. He was confident that it wasn’t a bad starter and it wasn’t a bad fuel pump. He thought it was just a bad battery. Rather than wasting his time on taking a trip to my house with his trailer, I had him take the bike back to his shop.
In short, the real problem was simply bad gasoline from sitting so long!!! Not a bad fuel pump, not a bad starter, not a bad battery (it was low however). The mechanic (I keep forgetting his name) could not have been more professional and courteous! An absolute CLASS ACT! They are both honest men with integrity and I couldn’t be more pleased and happy to have found them!
I wound up needing a set of tires (I knew this) and they are on order. I’m looking to having them installed next week.
Ivan, thank you and your partner for fixing my bike and being the honest people you are! This is a great shop that has without question won my business! They should definitely win yours as well!

These guys are awesome! The customer service is awesome! They’ll row your cycle for less than any tow service. I’ve been ripped off and pusses off by crappy motorcycle repair service in the past and they guys where such a breath of fresh air. After OB Motorcycle fucked up a simple tune up and mirror replacement (ripped the air valve right off and installed the mirrors back-​ass-​wards, and dropped the cycle, bending the break handle) these guys here took the time to show me what was happening with my bike, they did a great job fixing all the little things OB motorcycle broke, they showed me how do some little tweaks, on my own. It was great to be treated well. They have a customer for life in me.

I popped in with my scooter the other morning, and the guy working was a great help. He was informative and patient, and made sure my scooter was in great working order. I’ll absolutely be bringing my scooter there from here on out!

I came in having had a very bad experience with Pt Loma cycles.
These guys were everything you’d want: professional, knowledgable, reasonably priced, quick.
I give them my highest recommendation: they helped me ut of a pickle! o

Cool spot to get moto gear.

We were on the second leg of an across two countries and back road trip.
Anchorage thru Candada and back across the states.
While in San Diego a tire inspection showed more wear than we liked.
We discovered the wear on a Sunday and Unilocaled up some options.
Motozone was open on Monday and we were there when they opened thier doors.
The staff was solid… We ran Dunlop Road Smart 2’s and even tho the current catolog had none… Ivan found a matching tire and had it in less than 24 hrs.
We ride a Ducati Multi Strada with a very complex electronic suspension and a single sided swing arm with rather unique torque issues.
Motozone was awesome in handling our bike.
We waited while the work was done and this is a solid shop. We wittnessed their interaction with customers and would highly recommend them.

I’ve came here before with a 89 ninja 600 and after moving back into the neighborhood, I dropped off my 03 Yamaha R6. I was pleased to find the same great helpful service that made me a returning customer. There’s also still a decent selection of gear and some nice bikes inside, along with that sweet go kart in the front window. Definitely recommendable for just buying parts or for regular service/​maintenance.

Pros: Upfront, honest, quick.
Cons: Customer service wasn’t the best, but it’s City Heights. No one is nice in City Heights so that was expected.
I bought my Lance Milan for cheap off a friend and there were already problems with the electric starter and I’d have to kick-​start it just to get it to turn. One day I kicked too much and the gas line broke. And then nothing worked. So I took it in to get the starter thing replaced and the fuel thing fixed.
I took one of the reviewer’s advice by not telling them it was my first bike, but I think they figured it out quickly because the first thing they told me was I just needed to replace the battery, rather than charge me a bunch of money getting a new starter.
So far so good!

made the mistake i think of telling them it was my first street bike and i had just bought it and wanted it checked out. They came back saying i needed two new sprockets and a chain $ 300. I took it to two other places, one being a dealer, who honestly, I would expect to rip me off, but both places said chain and sprockets were fine.

Great service and very knowledgeable. I’ve been riding sport bike for nine years and go to Palomar routinely. These guys have the tires gear and quick service riders NEED! RECCOMEND.
