I recently lost weight and I wanted to purchase new clothes… I grabbed five items and they said I can’t try on some of the items… I couldn’t try on 4 of the 5 that I liked… ridiculous!

OMG! I had to go to the main Cricket store this morning and parked my car right in front of this funky store that had my eyes popping! Great location sandwiched between the Fam-Mart and the Health and Human Services office! My curiosity thus aroused-I just had to pop in! It’s a mega store of the most cheesy but wonderful hood fashions! It’s ghetto fabulous! Children’s clothing, accessories, shoes piled in mounds-some of them ablaze with jewels you know are hardly glued on! I saw a cute scarf that I bought to use for my outdoor cat to sleep on-it was very soft. Went to the back to visit the«formal wear» area and was amazed at all the tacky clothing so cheaply made-some of it actually cute. Another shopper browsing besides me wearing a terrible Tyra Banks wig commented how hot the dress I held up to me looked! I cringed but thanked her never-the-less. There were some outlandish-looking neon purple, green and orange lingerie that looked like it would terrify any guy unlucky enough to uncover it ! Please don’t think me a snob because I happen to get all my clothes on the Target clearance rack or Goodwill. I just couldn’t help be taken aback by seeing all this stuff and realizing that some soul sister will toss out some hard-earned money to buy some crazy-looking dress slit up to her va-jay-jay! Lots of tube tops, one-shoulder dressy dresses with edges beaded, and even a «plus size» section for the larger ladies. Some of the polyester«creations» from far away looked like Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress knock-offs! While doing a little google-ing on this business, I realized it is listed on the Muslim businesses website and the owners probably cater to the large ethnic populations in City Heights with this apparel store. I think that is wonderful and I certainly do not mean to demean that. But I also know if I chose to be some shady lady of the evening or El Cajon Blvd. «exercise» walker next Halloween, I do not need to hit up Party City; my «costume» most likely be found hanging right here!
