We stopped by this shop on our last day in San Diego and we’re so glad we did. The staff is awesome as well as extremely helpful. This place will definitely be a stop on our next trip.

Refused to take return on item the next day. Item was never taken out of the bag and was is perfect condition. Return policy not prominently posted behind register. Ridiculously bad customer service.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Shop Owner is a tweaker who harassed my 7 year old son because we refused to buy any of his over priced junk! Never coming back ever!

This place is a rip off. You get plain thin tanks with a pressed on logo for about $ 30, the bracelets and chains are way over priced and the people working ate pushy and rude. My friend got a rug sweater from there to find out it had a huge rip on the side when we got back to our hotel room. She called the place and some woman was yelling into the phone that she needed to call the owner john, so my friend called him and his inbox was full. We went back the next day and my friend explained she wanted to exchange for another, and the guy working started yelling saying they don’t sell the sweaters?! My friend had her receipt but what do you know, they didn’t have anymore for 2 weeks. So there was nothing they could do. Customer service was pushy the first day and flat out rude the next. TAke the time to walk down the shops by pacific beach before getting ripped off at this horrendous store!

Your typical little beach spot. You can get t-shirts, tanks, key chains, little shorts, and all that good stuff. I had strolled by and a t-shirt caught my eye. I have an obsession with the Californian flag and there was a simple tank I saw with it on the front. I picked a tank for my bf and the same for me. The priced advertised was 9.99. The printing would be 7.99. Can’t be that(i guess. Who really knows lol) I asked a worker that was nearby and he assured me that was the price. I skipped inside so excited to be getting tanks(matching :)) for me and T! I went to the register. There was one customer in front of me purchasing some key chains. The cashiers were friendly and quick with that transaction. The cashier greeted me and I told her what I wanted. She made regular friendly small talk. And she began to make me two tanks. After a few minutes(wasn’t long at all!) I returned to the register and she rang me up. The price I was being charged didn’t add up. I almost didn’t say anything because she was so nice and I love California and I would just give anyone in California all my monies but then I realized that’s silly of me. lol I’ll just ask and clarify. She was charging me 9.99 for both printing and tank. I assured her an employee told me it was 7.99. She looked to the cashier beside her(possibly a manager) and he joked about how mean she was for trying to over charge me lol It was cute. Friendly brother sister banter. Made the whole situation go over pretty smoothly. She took the extra charge off. Charged my card and bid me adieu. Def a place I’d stop in when I return to SD. I am obsessed with the beach and all the little shops. So this is right up my alley.

Mission Beach Resort Wear is right on the boardwalk. If you can find a building that looks like a castle, you’ve found them. Like most places on the block, they offer custom t-shirt prints.(I didn’t bite, as I have too many t-shirts right now.) They also sell your typical selection of kitchy souvenirs. Doubt they’re the cheapest souvenir shop when compared to their competitors due to their prime location, so compare prices before plunking down any cash. Anyway, I purchased two novelty shot glasses from here. One had«HAVEONEMORE» and the other had«REHABISFORQUITTERS» — both had«San Diego» emblazoned on them. The staffer who helped us was friendly and expertly wrapped them up using plastic bags.(Hey, they survived transit to the east coast!)
