The possibilities for hair at MDHD are vast, and include:

* Full array of color, including: highlights, lowlights, all over color, semi permanent color, toners, high lift blondes… if you can imagine it, we can create it with Framesi Italian hair color or our semi-​permanent Redken Shades EQ.

Please note that we can order most any beauty product, even from lines we do not normally stock. Feel free to let us know if you have any special order requests.

Established in 1997.

We are proud to have been voted into the Top 5 salons of San Diego for the past three years through Sign on San Diego. We received the number one Salon award in 2007. We greatly appreciate all of the votes and support from our clients.

Business Owner

Michael officially began his career in 1991 in San Diego CA, after graduating from Je Boutique School of Cosmetology. He has come a long way since then, keeping open minded by participating in countless classes, shows, and seminars. Michael creates anything from mild to wild, achieving looks derived from many different influences and technique theories, such as precision clipper and scissor-​over-​comb barber skills, ABBA condensed cutting theory, Compass Cutting theory, a full range of Framesi classes in their basic, advanced and special effects lines, Redken Shades EQ training, all in addition to the skills he has gained from others in his environment over the years. A few of Mike’s influences include Vikki Levante, Carter T. Lund, Kristina Parker, Russell Parks, Eddie Ramirez, Julianne Savo, and Carol Willhousen. Michael shares his talent, and always keeps an open mind, working hand in hand with his talented team.
