I have been working with Dr. Karmen for the last 6 months. I found him on the Gay and Lesbian Center Website I am so happy I did. Dr. Karmen has helped me to transform myself and taught me to deal with my sexuality, and more importantly work on finding my true self. I feel that the kid that walked into his office 6 months ago is very different the man that I am now. I feel strong, confident and secure all due to his help and guidance. Dr. Karmen is first class and I highly suggest him. I visit him at his office on 3rd Street in Hillcrest at the Dwell Sanctuary which is different then the address shown on Unilocal.Thank you Dr. Karmen for all your help and compassion you have an amazing gift!

I have known Dr. Karmen professionally for many years, and have seen him help many people. He is warm, accepting, experienced, intelligent, has a great laugh, and skilled. I would recommend him highly to both individuals and couples seeking counseling of an individual or marital/​family type.
