As another Unilocaler stated before, this Market tries to charge you $ 1.50 for using your Visa credit card. Well, that is what the wife said. When we asked the husband(while getting some sodas) he said only 50 cents. I don’t get it, because my understanding is that this charge should not happen. Needless to say, I did not buy anything after all. They were not very welcoming, especially the lady. I am sorry to say, I like small business to survive and thrive, but this is not the way to treat customers, no matter how sketchy some were when I was trying to do my shopping. Other than that, this place has nothing special, lots of space but not much merchandise and looks more like a place to grab a snack or a drink if you don’t have another better place close by(like my case today).

This Market illegally charges fees when you pay with a visa credit card. CA state law bars merchants from charging fees paid with credit cards and their merchant agreement with VISA. The owners/employees don’t care and are very rude. They may complain about paying transaction fees to VISA but think about how much business they would lose if they were cash only. Please report any transaction fee violations to VISA on their website.(These are credit transactions, not PIN/debit transactions)

Good pizza, salads and subs. Lunch time rush is a little crazy but still worth it! Try the bolt sandwich or the chicken tortilla soup…

Have you ever ate something soooo tasty that eating past a comfortable point is inevitable? I just finished a whole chicken breast sandwich on squaw from The Market that rocked my world. So much that now I can barely type! Most pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices, and great quality of product. They have groceries available for purchase as well.
