If you are self employed, independent contractor, 1099 tax return, all of the above… then this is for you. I decided it was time to protect myself in case I was injured or became disabled and I also decided it was time to plan for my retirement since I do not have a 401K. I went to State Farm and met with Marcia Peniche. She was great and very knowledgeable. She got me set up with disability insurance and got me started with an IRA. I didn’t even know State Farm did this! Marcia walked me through each step. A lot of the IRA mumbo jumbo was a foreign language to me, but she made it fun and easy to comprehend.
