Business Owner

After college, teaching & other tedious jobs Valerie knew she wanted an exciting artistic career. She is naturally gifted & creative with cosmetics & often assisted friends with their makeup. Cosmetology school was the clear choice. Valerie received her license in 1998 & began working in a day spa to gain valuable cosmetic & business experience. At night she toted her brushes & kit to the Washington Whidbey Playhouse for her first comic stage production, «Sex, Lies and the IRS». After a few theatre gigs Valerie provided makeup for special events & weddings. Her bridal, print, video, film & TV assignments escalated when she moved to San Diego in 2000. A few of Valerie’s clients: John Legend, Kool and the Gang, Food Network, Disney, Fox News, MTV, CNN, NBC & Puma. She also received requests to style photo shoots, so wardrobe styling became another passion (Kloz​mode​.com). Make-​up & fashion are equally enjoyable for Valerie & shows in every detail of her meticulous artistry.
