Originally from Ukraine I came here in 2005 and fell in love with photography, the beauty of local people and the country itself.

My specialty is creative portraiture. No matter what subject I photograph I always try to find something original about it. I like to establish a connection with my customer, ask them about their life, what they like, to better describe their unique personality with my photographs.

Even though I have been making travel and portrait photos for almost a decade I still learn from every single photo-​shoot and improve the quality of my images all the time.

My style is often dreamy and vintage like, which I achieve with lighting and my lenses, but I do not use too much editing, as I believe the fads come and go, but timeless, simple look will always be appreciated by the next generations.

Her photos are unique! I have worked with Diana numerous times: family photos, my profile picture, special events, and I always had a great experience. She is very talented and has fun personality. I have a teenager son, and you could imagine how hard it is to talk him into taking photos with mom, but with Diana we felt more relaxed and comfortable.

Diana is a true artist. We drove two hours to have our little newborn daughter’s picture taking. While we anticipated our toddler being in some pictures, we didn’t think that we would also be in them. However, we decided to take a few all together and Diana made those pictures come out beautiful.
The studio itself was very comfortable and Diana has a fabulous disposition with children, especially infants and toddlers.
The pictures, USB, announcements and wooden box arrived at our house since we live two hours away and we loved everything. We will definitely be back for the 6 months and 1 year photos.

Diana is an amazing photographer and a real artist. I had 2 sessions with her (pregnancy and newborn). I am super excited with results, but also want to mention that during the session she opens an inner you, which makes session be a positive emotional moment.

My 7 month pregnancy shoot was just a dream! Diana makes you feel like a supermodel, her studio is where you want to stay for days! She will make tea for you and if you are not sure what you want –Diana will take care of all the artistic ideas. Body art was done by Lana Chromium.

My husband and I were looking for a photographer on our wedding day, but to find a great one was much harder than we had expected. So we were so fortunate to have found Diana from Luckysova Studios and had her as our photographer on our big day! She is a very talented, sweet person, easy to work with, we, including our families visiting from Japan, had so much fun on every each photo occasions such as first-​look, family photo at our wedding! Not only that, but how our photos turned out, we couldn’t be happier! It’s been almost 2 months since our wedding, but everytime I look at the photos all the moments come back to me like it was yesterday, making me smile over and over! Diana made sure how I wanted our photos to be before the wedding, she tried hard to create as much close to I want as she could and delivered to us!

Only a true artist can capture the essence of who you really are in a picture. Diana’s open and easy going style is the cherry on top.
Within minutes, she made me feel comfortable and as beautiful as I’ve ever felt. And then she showed me some of the shots and I couldn’t help but stare in awe. Even before touch ups, the angles and lighting were soft and flowing. So beautiful.

What an amazing person and photographer! We had 2 sessions with Diana so far and both times the pictures were outstanding. She with her magic camera brings out the best out of you.
Diana was very flexible. I had to reschedule the shoot almost last minute and she was very understanding and we postponed it for the convenient time for us.
Diana was very calm and that made us relaxed especially the first time we worked with her. That was a Christmas themed photo shoot. I was pregnant and extra emotional that day (If you know what I’m saying). But her comforting way of speaking made me calm down.
Diana listened to what I wanted. She actually asked me to send to her the picture ideas from Pinterest before the session so she knew what I liked. She made sure we were through all the ideas of mine. But honestly my recommendation is to trust her because she has her professional and talented vision. The best shots were when Diana caught the moments we were not posing. And those were the pictures revealing who we are as a family.
The rates are very reasonable for San Diego area and for the level of excellence she has to offer. She also has promotions and discounts for her returning clients.

If you are looking for a talented photographer with an amazing vision, you MUST try Diana at Luckysova Studios. She knows how to shoot both indoors and to use beautiful nature near her studio and around San Diego to create unique memorable moments! She is flexible, calm, and patient, and gives helpful suggestions to make your picture look perfect and not staged!
Her location in Old Town is very convenient — there are wonderful settings around, and she is very close to Presidio Park.
I have used Diana recently for a family photo shoot with our daughter, and I love the results! We went through several outfit and setting changes outdoors, and Diana captured some very funny and endearing moments. I finally have professional pictures of my daughter that are worth sharing, yay!

I came to Diana’s studio because I have always liked her work. We had a great time shooting the burlesque dancer from my entertainment company, and the shots turned out beautifully! Not only is Diana a great artist but she is also a dedicated professional. She was playful and creative but very focused on the task during the shoot. I had my photos edited and submitted in a timely manner, and my promo materials with her photographs look amazing. I highly recommend this studio for all your photography needs!

I had exceptional experience with Luckysova Studios. I needed some modeling shots done for my portfolio and Diana, the owner, was super professional! We had family photos done by Diana recently and LOVED everything about the experience!
She put us (the parents) at ease by being calm and patient with the kiddos, which is huge. Professional (punctual, etc) but still warm and so nice to all of us.
And then the photos. The photos were so beautiful, great family shots, and also individual ones capturing the personalities of each of our kids SO well. Group shots coupled with portrait images, so many good ones to browse though. I’ve got my work cut out for me in trying to decide which ones to use for our Christmas cards this year, there are quite a few options to choose from that are going to make my job quite tough… not a bad problem to have ;)

AMAZING! Diana is such a talented photographer and lovely person. She shot our sons newborn pictures. We are more than pleased with the results. The pictures are priceless, not to mention beautiful. The prices were very reasonable. I was looking for high quality photographers within San Diego but many were out of our price range since they charged per photo, some as much as $ 250 just for one image on cd! Diana provides all images on cd which is great because you can always print more whenever. Hopefully we can work together with her in the future for more family photos.
