I have had a love and interest in the real estate market and real estate in general for many years. I studied hard and learned the business while my children were small and once they took off for school, I jumped in with both feet. I have been a dedicated real estate Appraiser ever since. I handle all the in’s and out’s of daily business and am hands on in ever aspect. I enjoy my work and running my own business and make a point to reflect that in the way I do business. Ethics and customer service are very important to me and are a priority.

I wanted a female appraiser (yes, I’m biased), but the first one I called and emailed never responded. Laurie renewed my faith by answering the phone the first time I contacted her. Within a week the appraisal date was set. In ten days I had a thoroughly researched and comprehensive report. It was a pleasure to work with a consummate professional.

Full disclosure: I haven’t gotten an appraisal from Laurie, but if I had the choice I would!
Laurie is very responsive and helpful to talk to. My husband and I are in escrow for a condo and the HOA has been in litigation for years. As a result, all comps within the last year from this complex were short sale cash transactions and we were told that an appraisal would likely not meet our purchase price and kill the deal. Furthermore, even if the appraisal price did meet the purchase value, we would risk the lender killing the deal, because exact «model match» comps do not exist for our condo within the last 5 years.
Anyways, I called up Laurie to ask for her advice and was upfront with the fact that we WANT to order an appraisal but may not do so because of the difficult circumstances. She still went above and beyond to help me pull comps in the area and give me her honest opinion on how the appraisal might go and which comps might be considered. In the end, we decided not to risk losing our upfront costs of ordering an appraisal, lender appraisal review, and required field reviews. However, I’d like to note that Laurie’s pricing was VERY reasonable and was almost 20% less than what was quoted to us by the lender’s preferred appraisal company.

We commissioned Laurie for an appraisal a cash buyer purchasing a property from a friend. To be fair, he wanted to make sure the value was in it for investment. After researching several different companies, we opted to use LL appraisal due to the reviews and pleasant phone conversation that took place to talk pricing.
I met her on behalf of the client, and she was not only personable with me but also the tenants. She was professional and approachable; very willing to help the buyers with photos since they could not make the appraisal. She was thorough in her report and followed up afterwards.
I would definitely recommend her; being a Realtor, it’s good to know quality services for clients. I will be using her again with my cash investors and when I have the need to get honest, thorough value.

My mortgage lendor allowed me to have a CA certified appraiser of my choice to value my home, and that value would be used to determine if my loan to value ration was 78% to remove the PMI.
This has been the third appraisor I have worked with, but the two others were through mortgage lendors. By far I found LL Appraisal, Laurie, to be the best of the three. Customer Service was excellent and the formal appraisal was delivered promptly and done professionally and thoroughly.
