Doctor ordered equipment in August 2015, received wrong equipment in January 2016 which was returned 1 week later. As of today February 4, 2016 still no equipment. My case manager called Lifecare solutions today and was told that my doctor had cancelled the order. Have filed a complaint with my insurance and medicare. No company with this track record should be allowed to provide medical supplies… they are a disgrace.

Horrible company. I have called 5 times now over two days and have yet to reach a human being. Still sitting on hold for the second time today, now in the 9^th minute. I am trying to get crutches for my husband! It shouldn’t be this friggin difficult, especially when you’re already dealing with medical issues. I need to be on the phone with doctors, I have no idea if we’ll actually get them. I hate this company after days of trying to get through, 0% success.

Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Cannot even get the main office to answer the phone. I was transferred to 3 different phone numbers, all of which rang and rang but with no answer, not even voicemail. The people who work here are completely clueless and amazingly rude. Avoid if at all possible.

I am updating my review from one star to four stars because of the action taken by Lifecare Solutions in response to my earlier review. I was contacted by the owner of the company who ask me to contact him to get my problem resolved. He called me to find out what happened and stated that I shouldn’t of had any issues getting my prescription processed, especially since I was an existing customer. He told me I would be getting a call from the local manager to get everything resolved. Today I received a call from Maxwell who reviewed my order and said that he would have it shipped to my house TODAY. As promised, when I got home this afternoon my order was waiting for me. Everything that was supposed to be sent was there. I have to say I was impressed with the promptness and professionalism in resolving my issues. I think Lifecare Solutions Inc deserve another chance. I’ll also admit that after years of miserable service from my former provider Apria Healthcare I might not have given Lifecare Solutions as much patience as I could have.

LIFECARE SOLUTIONS INC Provided a wheelchair through my insurance when found out they were charging me a monthly rental fee I cancelled and paid them off. Within a week was billed $ 26 after several more calls I have NEVER been able to resolve anything with less than 4 calls and a day or two wait for a callback they said this was for the current month I paided another $ 26 and assured the account was closed and the chair would be picked up with in 3 days. It was more like 2 ½ or 3 weeks. Weeks later was sent a per collections leter. Several more calls I received a call they explained it was a mistake because of the delayed pick to disregard it. That was several months back Now I find a collection account on my report. I have called LIFECARE SOLUTIONS INC several times and each time I was placed on hold and then the call was dropped. This company takes advantage of the elderly. The main office is in AZ. They also have an office in Visalia CA. Go somewhere else for your medical equipment needs.

Worst company ever!!! Unfortunately my OB/​GYN uses them for breast pump orders. For the original order Veronica sent me an obscure breast pump that ended up damaging my breasts and severely affecting the supply (The pump is called «Rumble Tuff», look it up, bottom of the market). When I informed my insurance company of the issue, they approved a replacement pump order right away. My OB/​GYN submitted all the necessary documentation but Lifecare Solutions took their sweet time in fulfilling the order. I have called their office numerous times and kept getting the same answer, that someone will call me back. Still have not heard back from them even though I have informed them that this is urgent and that I’m having serious issues with breast-​feeding (plugged ducts, can’t empty the breasts, high risk for mastitis)

I can’t say enough bad things about this company! I went to the new provider today. My mask was not fitting right – turns out I had an oversized mask and headgear for a man! (This had been issued to me in person at Lifecare Problems). Also, while I clean the tank with CLR every week, it is supposed to be replaced every 6 months – I’ve had it for almost 3 years and it looked grungy. Makes me wonder about Lifecare Problems billing practices. If you can avoid this place, please do. I wish I could give it negative stars. I think they should be shut down.

I order a lot of medical equipment for multiple people is San Diego. The timeliness and care that staff at this company have is extremely poor. They lack customer support and even and interest in keeping someone returning to them for business. When I call for something a secretary named «Evan» gave me a attitude as if I was bothering her to ask for a walker. After she placed me on hold for 9 minutes she only gave me 30 seconds to speak. San Diego really lacks in a good solid medical equipment company but I am not proud to say I advise you all to choose Apria or abt over these guys. Lifecare solutions is pretty much run by a pack of baboons.

Avoid using them if you can. They cheat! Our insurance plan has $ 100 copay for DME per equipment. They took our $ 100 copay, then sent us a bill in October demanding another $ 100. I called and they made things up. They said the copay is for supplies.
I told them our plan has no copay for supplies, then then said the copay is for CPAP mask. I told them the CPAP mask should be part of the CPAP machine. They argued and got aggressive.
I asked for the itemized bill, they said they don’t bill insurance with itemized bill.
I told them they cannot bill insurance without the CMS-​1500 or EDI 837, and those require itemizing the items. They came up with all kinds of excuses, saying they are contracted with Sharp and don’t have to send the claim form. I told them yes, it’s true that they don’t have to send them the claim form, CMS-​1500, but if they don’t, then they do have to send them the electronic file EDI 837. They kept saying no, they don’t have the itemize billing.
Finally, I told them I’m very familiar with the CMS-​1500 claim form and the electronic EDI 837 file, an insurance contracts/​benefit plans. I will contact Sharp to see why they processed the bill incorrectly.
5′ later, they called me back and said I don’t owe anything. That was when I told them I’m very familiar with insurance billing & contract. Unfortunately, those who need to use medical equipment are seniors. How many seniors are that familiar with insurance billing. I wonder how many seniors they’ve cheated.

This company deserves ZERO star. They will give ANY reason whatsoever to stall so they won’t have to give your it equipment or something.
I signed up for a breast pump through my doctor’s office in June, and the practitioner actually sent a prescription for it on June 16^th. Lifecare called me and said that somehow my insurance was discontinued so I cannot qualify. I went to my insurance office to take care of it, and the worker there assisted me and said that I was back on the insurance. I called again and Lifecare still said that they do not see my insurance as «active». I called back a couple times with a few days in between to see if the insurance has gone through.
I got a letter in the mail a few days later from the insurance company stating that my insurance will be put back July 1^st, 2015. OK, so I waited, and called Lifecare again on July 2^nd, just to give the insurance some time to really process. Once again, they claimed that when I called last, there was no insurance on file. WELL, couldn’t they go and check for the CURRENT status now? Upon checking, they said that they do have the active insurance on file, they now require a prescription. OK, so I called my doctor’s office back, and the receptionist that answered the phone said she’ll check on that for me and get back to me. Never did.
OK, so I called back a day later, she said «Let me check and call you back» again, never did again. So I called Lifecare again, and once again, they said «We see that last time you called, you did not have an active insurance.» WHAT?! We’re going through this AGAIN? Does anybody listen at this company?
«Fax us your current insurance card with the number,» she said. I went to Kinko’s on a Friday and faxed it, which I still didn’t understand why. They just told me a couple days ago that the insurance was good, and I just need a prescription. I called back the week after and once again, «You did not have valid insurance the last time you called». I told them I faxed it. The lady said «OK, now we need a prescription.» I called my doctor’s office back and the receptionist told me a prescription was sent on June 16^th already. I called Lifecare back and they said that I needed an authorization number from the doctor TO the insurance company. I called my doctor’s office back again and no one there knew about this process. I called Lifecare back and told them I was really frustrated with this back and forth, and could they communicate with my doctor’s office so that I don’t have to be the middle man. They insisted that my doctor’s office call them, but I didn’t think that should be the case. My doctor’s office has done their job by sending the prescription, if they need anything else, they SHOULD be the one calling my doctor’s office, not the other way around.
Long story short, EVERY SINGLE time I called, they had a new reason, a new excuse about something «missing» from my file that needed to be faxed, or sent. It is now July 29^th and I still have not gotten anywhere with them. But I no longer care, because by sheer luck, I stumbled upon a double breast pump at Target that was on clearance for 70% off. BIG score! It’s been working wonderfully and it’s so worth the money!

Terrible Company — if you deal with anyone else, I would strongly recommend going someone else. I had to call them everyday for a week and still didn’t receive my scooter for 2 weeks. I was then charged $ 800 for a scooter Walmart sells for $ 200 — this, of course, was not covered by my insurance because of the overpricing. Trying to resolve the issue with their billing department was impossible — I strongly recommend not having anything to do with this company.

This company is the worst. No wonder they are so lowly rated. I cannot understand how they can stay in business. Their customer service is next to nonexistent. Having dealt with them over a couple of years, each time has been totally frustrating. No more for me. They are so unresponsive!

Be prepared to be persistent, and forego those little perks like return phone calls and customer service. Called daily for 5 business days. They lost my paperwork, then found it after I asked dr to re-​fax. The next day, lost record of me again. Told three days in a row that the person I need to speak to is with another client, and I’ll get a call back immediately when she’s done. Three days in a row, no call back. Person answering phone is pleasant and professional, but indicates she cannot do anything and doesn’t know anything, and I’ll need to wait for someone else. Would work fine if they would actually return a phone call.
I wouldn’t accept this kind of service for Girl Scout Cookies, much less for medical supplies. Had Doc refer me to a different company — less convenient, but I’d take reliability and service over convenience any day.

If there was a negative Star, I’d post it.

Stephanie M. is right, this company doesn’t have it together. I too have been sent to collections on my mother’s account, but I’ve made many attempts to reach them, fax them, to no avail.
We’ve had negative on both ends, receiving a wheel chair AND now billing.
Whoever the owner’s are, are ‘out to lunch’. and not taking care of their business.
Seriously frustrating to work with, IF you ever get to speak to someone.

So they actually ended up bringing the equipment that night, and the guy who set it up was polite, patient and helpful.
Maybe I was a little overboard after a frustrating day on my original review. But judging by the other reviews, things may go downhill again.
So I gave another star, for now

I am currently trying to deal with this company. They don’t really seem to have it together. They are threatening to send my 97-​year-​old mother to collections for a bill that was never explained. I call them and they say «everything is fine» and then the next time I call no one remembers ever talking to me and it is back to square one. How do they stay in business?

I have been with Lifecare Solutions for over a year, and have nothing good to say about service, billing, and the long waits on the phone for them to answer. Ten to fifteen minute wait times. If they have to bill for more than a month they only refer to a single month. My concentrator stopped working and they wanted me to wait one day for service until I made a little noise they had someone call me to check if it was broken.

These guys are horrible. I’ve had them for almost 2 years so far, ordering catheters every month as I am a quadriplegic. The past few months have been absolutely crap,
Their customer service is horrible and I mean horrible they don’t care about you, period. They’ve been giving me the runaround the past two weeks as I’ve been trying to order my last set of catheters from them. After talking to Numerous people numerous different times I’ve finally got them ordered for the last time. I repeat if you can steer clear from these guys. I’ve had to spend $ 240, which I don’t have and can’t afford just to buy catheters because of that!

These guys are the worst. They make you wait forever even if you have an appointment.
Go elsewhere.
