The Law Office of Michael E. Ripley is a one attorney office, with a staff of five, in north San Diego (Carmel Valley/Del Mar). We offer individual attention and professional representation in a cost-effective manner. Mr. Ripley specializes in civil litigation, including business and real estate disputes and personal injury matters (car accidents, bicycle accidents, dog bite cases). Over the last five years, our office has helped hundreds of San Diegans stay in their homes, avoiding foreclosure actions and re-negotiating their loan terms with successful loan modifications.
Most of Mr. Ripley’s clients are individuals or small businesses who are not inclined to pay the hourly rates charged by the big law firms. Our office offers excellent legal representation at affordable rates.

Mr. Ripley has practiced law in Southern California for over 34 years. He spent the first 12 years working for law firms in San Diego and Orange County, focusing his practice on Civil, Real Estate and Business Litigation, Personal Injury and Product Liability.
For the last 22 years, Mr. Ripley has managed and operated his own law office. He continues to handle a variety of business and civil litigation matters for individuals and small businesses.
About 6 years ago, he added Loan Modifications and Foreclosure Avoidance to his list of specialties, when he brought in a Loss Mitigation Manager, with over 35 years experience in loan modifications and residential loan servicing.

Michael E. Ripley graduated from UCLA School of Law in 1979. Before that he attended the University of California at Irvine, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in both Criminal Justice and Psychology.
He is «AV» rated by Martindale-Hubbell (a nationwide attorney rating service), its highest rating. Mr. Ripley lives with his wife and two teenage sons in Carmel Valley.
In addition to practicing law, he enjoys swimming, bicycling and coaching his sons in baseball and soccer.
