History

Established in 2000.

After working for a couple years for a law firm in Century City, Jane Oak decided to open her own law office to serve the community with excellent yet affordable legal services. Over the past 12 years, she has helped individuals in obtaining greencard or citizenship, companies register trademarks, and people buy and sell businesses. Since 2005, Jane has published articles in the newspapers on a weekly basis to update the public on immigration law. She has also had several 5-​minute programs on television.

Business Owner

Jane Oak graduated from UCLA School of Law with a J.D. in 1998. Her B.A. degree in Accounting was earned at Michigan State University in 1992. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She is currently the President of the Korean-​American Bar Association of Southern California, and a former board member of the Christian Legal Society of Los Angeles. She was a recipient of the prestigious NAPABA’s Best Lawyers Under 40 Award in 2011, and was given the Legal Leadership Award by the Asian American Dispute Resolution Center in 2012. She and her staff are fluent in English, Korean, and Spanish.

In May of 2014, Jane expanded her law practice by opening up a satellite office in San Diego. Clients may set up appointments for in person meetings or video conferencing at the San Diego office.
