When I was charged with 3 felonies I went to many different lawyers to make sure I got the best person to defend me. Many of these lawyers looked down on me, treated me like I was a criminal, and told me that I was guaranteed to be convicted. Mr. Bajaj was the only lawyer who took my case seriously. In time of need trust Vikas indeed! I actually didn’t find Mr. Bajaj, my mother did. I couldn’t because I was in jail. At 22 I was arrested on a traffic related incident (reckless driving and speeding in excess of 100 m.p.h) and having kept a clean record my whole life this scared me to death. In addition to this being my first offense I worked as a volunteer in law enforcement and the thought of being «on the other side“terrified me. My mother was referred to Mr. Bajaj through a mutual friend when she found out about my situation. She was apprehensive at fist because of the stigma defense lawyers get yet she was open to hearing how Mr. Bajaj could help her only son. The first thing that she noticed was she wasn’t speaking with an assistant or aid or colleague or partner, she was speaking to Mr. Bajaj directly. My mother informed Mr. Bajaj of the situation. He responded with compassion and understanding. He realized this was a difficult time for her and he reassured her by giving her some of his back history and how he intends to fight to save my good name. He said he must know my side of the story since every person is different, every situation unique and no two cases are ever the same. So he set aside time in the coming days for me to have a face to face with him and to formally meet and explain what happened.
Walking up to the office I was nervous and unsure about my future. I rode the elevator to the top floor of the NBC building in downtown San Diego sweating and heart racing, as if I was reliving the arrest all over again. I stepped out of the elevator made a right and walked into his office and was immediately greeted by the assistant. As I sat in the waiting room seconds passed like minutes. All the emotions of the previous day’s were in the forefront of my mind. It was like a movie, sweat on my forehead, thoughts racing, and then his assistant walks up and introduces herself. She asks if there is anything she could get me before she took me to Mr, Bajaj’s office. I declined and before I knew it I was sitting across from Mr. Bajaj.
Sure he was superiorly dressed, had a diploma from a top law school on the wall and awards any lawyer would commit their life’s to obtaining but that wasn’t what I initially noticed. It was the eye contact he maintained and gregarious personality he exuded that put me at ease and assured me I was in good hands. We spoke for about an hour while Mr. Bajaj told me about similar cases with positive outcomes even cases that were more seriously that produced a positive result. He opened law books and showed me how he would use the law to benefit my case. We set another meeting to speak with his detectives and I left feeling calm.
Over the next few months I spoke with Mr. Bajaj many times, some over the phone and some in person. Each time he gave me more positive news and confidence in the process.
The day in court arrived sooner than I expected but I was already aware of the outcome because Mr. Bajaj explained exactly what would happened and what the outcome would be and never kept me in the dark about anything. My name was called and we both walked to the podium. Mr. Bajaj spoke on my behalf, but when asked I did give a statement and apologized for the lack of judgement I showed. Just like that we were done. I was given 3 years un-​supervised probation which essentially means «don’t get in trouble» for the time period we tell you. No suspended license, no manual labor on the side of the freeway, and most important to jail time (up to a year) for my offense.
I kept in contact with Mr. Bajaj after court and he continued to check in with me to make sure all was well. Approximately a year later we filed to expunge my record. Mr. Bajaj asked that I obtain a few character letters that would show the court that the expungement would only have a positive impact on my future and by granting the expungement I could continue with my career.
Soon there after the paper work was filed and my record once again was clean. I am now in training in my field and could never have thought this would be a possibility again. So thank you Mr. Bajaj for not only saving my life but for always being there and coming through with everything you said you would get accomplished.

By far the best defense lawyer you could ask for. A while back I had gotten myself into some trouble and needed help. I immediately called Mr. Bajaj as he has handled another case for me in the past with great success.
