Description

Specialties

We handle bankruptcy — Chapter 7, Chaper 13, and individual Chapter 11 cases. We help people discharge their debts or reorganize their finances to save a home or business. With over 28 years of experience representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy matters, Tom Gorrill is able to evaluate a client’s case from both sides.

We help people with homes in foreclosure or who are being sued. We can stop the foreclosure or lawsuit by filing a petition with the federal bankruptcy court. We also help small business owners who are trying to decide whether to save their company or cease operations.

We are a small firm — one attorney and two paralegal assistants and provide individual attention to each case. We do not take a «law clinic» approach to serving our clients so you are not just another number.

Our fees depend on the complexity of the case, and we give special consideration to the active-duty and former military, first responders, teachers, and seniors

History

Established in 1991.

Tom is a solo practiioner and has been representing clients in insolvency cases since 1984. He worked for a couple of other law firms before he opened his own office in 1991.

Tom has represented debtors, creditors, and trustees in bankruptcy cases. He has successfully tried cases in the bankruptcy court [most consumer banrkutpcy attorneys will accept the main case but have never taken a lawsuit to trial].

Our goal is to provide quality services with compassion for the financial and other difficulties that our clients are going through when they hire us to help them so they are not treated like a number.
