I really love this salon. This is probably the best nail salon in the Carmel Valley area. Kathy usually does my nails and always does a perfect job. To start off, when you walk in you are always greeted and offered snacks and drinks. I have never had to wait any longer then 10 minutes. They have a huge selection of colors, nail art, glitter, etc. Then whoever does your nails always makes sure that you are as comfortable as possible and that you like the shape, color, etc. I have also gotten multiple pedicures and waxes which I also highly recommended. Not to mention the salon is always kept very clean and neat. I will never go to another salon!

My nail technician charged me an extra dollar to try out a nail color on one nail before deciding on the polish I wanted. I consider this very poor customer service. They may have earned an extra dollar off me today, but I won’t come back again which results in hundreds of dollars of lost business.

I love the calm energy of this nail salon and the employees that work there. At the competition, I never can relax with all rushing and chaos. This salon is a welcome change to our neighborhood.

The only nail salon I’ve gone to more than once!
And that’s because I love the friendly and polite service I received here during my first visit. But the manicure though! Working in a lab, I completely gave up on painting my own nails, because — #1 — they chip the next day (after painting them the night before), and — #2 — it’s therefore a waste of my time! The two gel manicures I received here have both been outstanding. The polish refuses to come off or crack which were issues I’ve had at other salons. The technicians are also very sociable and genuinely enjoy engaging you in conversation. No stoic, forlorn expressions of doom here! They are also very gentle and careful while working on your nails. My PTSD from cut cuticles disappeared in an instant!
As I’ve mentioned, the first visit left a lasting impression on me because of the service. They even offer you water and juice (darn, no champagne or wine though!). But, my first manicure with April was great! She was very accommodating to my requests and even made some suggestions. I gave her a design to copy from my phone and she was on it! So focused she was staring at my phone and stroking the nail polish on ever so carefully just to achieve the exact design. It was very soothing just watching her work her nail magic. The end result was beautiful and I was truly happy!
So, whenever I want to spend money senselessly to pamper myself for the heck of it, I’ll be sure to give Lavish a visit from here on out!

I just had a mani/​pedi today from Lavish Nails. I am very impressed! My experience was great from the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted by a receptionist who was very friendly. They have a great color selection and did my mani/​pedi at the same time which I really like. The leg massage with my pedicure was amazing. I could tell she really cared that I felt relaxed and happy. I will definitely be a regular now!

I love this nail salon! I started coming here when it first opened and haven’t stopped since. I have been getting acrylics here regularly and a nail salon has never given me better results than this one. I recently got the European pedicure by Kathy and it was amazing! my legs and feet feel incredible! I highly recommend!

Have to say this place is a hidden treasure! On a whim today, I decided to get a pedicure and Kathy was amazing! I did go the extra step and got the Royal pedicure and it was worth every penny! The massage was honestly the longest pedicure massage I’ve ever had and my feet feel great! The staff is super nice. There’s a greeter at the front counter, they offered me a drink and, upon leaving, they gave me a Christmas card with a coupon to come back. I also didn’t feel rushed to leave so they could turn over the chair to another customer. Made me feel relaxed and comfortable! Definitely one of the best nail salons I’ve found in San Diego!

This place. what can I say about it first. First impressions, it feels like a spa, not a factory line.
It’s quiet and calm. CLEAN. Immediately you see how clean it is. Fresh. Upscale. Friendly.
They treat you like they WANT your business. That’s a great way to be greeted and walked in. I love that it’s open and then girls have their stations and it’s just a nice place to go and relax.
I appreciate the way they host you, offering you a drink or a treat. It’s just such a pleasant place to go!

This place is so awesome! I always come here for pedicures. They have a lot of different options for pedicure scrubs, masques, add-​ons, etc and even have organic pedicures, all for reasonable prices. They are so sweet and really take their time on the massages! They also have candy, cookies, soda, tea, etc. Trina gives the best massages and really takes her time and makes you feel special. I really, really love this place.
First of all, it is clean. They put plastic around each pedicure chair before water goes in, and I see them sanitizing them frequently whenever I am in there. They don’t just wipe down the water basin, but the entire chair as well.
They are so nice and really good at what they do. I am hooked on Rachel for pedicures and Kathy for my manicures. They both do such an amazing job.
They also have a huge selection of gel nail polish, regular nail polish and toxic free polish. They hand out water, tea or cookies even if you want.
I have become a repeat customer because of their amazing service and cleanliness!

I have to say I’m quite impressed with this place! Clean and so many polishes to choose from. Not to mention the staff is so accommodating and friendly. Will be returning for my gel nails and pedicures! I love Rachel and her professionalism!

It’s been 3 months that I get my nail services done here. I like their service, attention to the detail, and the cleanness of the salon. They have spa chairs and use liners which is very important to me. They offer you tea, water, or soda and take care of you the best that they can. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. I’m hooked…

This place is incredible. They did a great job and treat every customer like a queen. Water, snacks (cookies and candy bars!), funny TV shows on, and incredibly clean. Ask for TRINA — she took super great care of me.
Now we need them to open one in LA!

Took my sister here for a birthday present and the people here were very friendly and spoke English well.
This place is quiet and tastefully design. Definitely a higher class nail saloon

I don’t even know how to begin! I just love this place. I hate places who just assume that young teens like me, doesn’t have the money to pay. But this place shows love and respect. Such nice ladies. I came back here again. Bringing my friends along this time and they all loved this place. It’s been a month already, my gel color nails have grown out so much, and not a single chip! Can you believe that! And their color selection just keeps growing bigger, and bigger and better! The ladies here were so nice to test the colors on their own nails too.

Couldn’t be happier with my first experience here! My friend made an appointment for us as it’s near her house and right around the corner from my office. The place is brand new and they are doing an awesome job of taking care of the place AND their customers.
Some of my friends work in salons so I know what to look for as far as cleanliness and regulated standards and this place surpassed my expectations with 5 stars! They add the tub liners for pedicures bowls, all of the tools are correctly sterilized, and everything is brand new! Amazing selection of colors for both polish and gel and the chairs are so comfortable. They also offer organic products as well. Be sure to use the coupon on the front desk for $ 5 off if you spend $ 35 or more on a service. Also, you get $ 1 off if you pay with cash.
It’s not just nails either! They offer facials, waxing and eyelash extensions. I will definitely be visiting this place again.

Think this might be my go to nail salon! Second visit and it was even better than the first. Service is outstanding. They offer snacks and beverages which is a nice touch! Love that they use a new plastic cover over the foot tub after every use to keep things sanitary. Vy is my nail gal and her work is simply perfection! April did my pedi and she gives an awesome foot massage. I’m looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommend this new nail spa…5 stars!

Yay, a new nail salon to go to! I’ve been going to the same salon for a couple of years now, and they’re my go-​to, refer to friends, mani-​pedi spot… But lately they’ve gotten crowded and sloppy.
After a hard day at work and a turn away at another salon (since they were low in staff) we went back to the source…
…I consulted with Unilocal,and this gem popped up. From the moment I called, to my walk out the door, it wasn’t –stop, outstanding service. They are all extremely friendly and accommodating! Vi remembered my name throughout the service and she was so welcoming. They were very meticulous with our gel mani and pedi, and did an amazing job! Their price range is about average, and I guess a bit much if you’re not used to paying a lot, but the service makes up for it. I definitely recommend this place to anyone trying to look for a nice to business to try out. I’m going to have to go back a few times to make sure it’s a consistent 5 star establishment, BUT, I urge you to check it out :) ($ 5 summer coupon at the counter too)

Very lovely experience! Very relaxing atmosphere and everyone there was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
Vy the girl who did my manicure was very thorough and meticulous. She was also gentle. My experience with nail techs is that sometimes they can seem a little unfriendly and or can be a little rough. This was not the case at all with anyone I ran across there. I am also legally blind so need a little extra help and attention, and they were so helpful from complimentary snacks and bottled water to helping me pick out and (correctly) identify nail polish colors to offering my hubby a complimentary foot message for bringing me in, treating me to, and having to participate in my girly time ;).
Then the icing on top of the cake was an AMAZING hand and arm massage fro Vy at the end of my manicure, I wanted to fall asleep right there on the nail station! I will definitely be a regular here thank you Vy & Trina for a wonderful experience.

Great service. The color selection included Channel and OPI colors. The massage chairs are nice and everything is super sanitary… unlike the place across the way.
I just loved how friendly, and professional it was.
