I could not logon to my laptop because of a password issue. They took care of it in less than 2 hours. Fair price. Fast turnaround. Have used them before. Never disappointed.

Tracked down difficult parts and performed very economical repair. Will bring any other problems that arise to them.

I brought my HP Envy 14 for these guys to fix after it would not power on. After a few days i was told the mother board was no good. They ordered the motherboard (I had to wait 1 week) and were able to quickly install the replacement. I was notified that my laptop is ready. The service cost was very reasonable.
I would use these guys again. They don’t try to up sell you and are efficient with their time. Thanks again!

I used them to replace the screen on my 17 inch HP laptop. They were friendly and professional from start to finish. I called several different shops and this was the only manager that took the time to explain what the problem might be and provided a repair estimate. It was the best deal I found in San Diego. I just picked up my laptop and it’s like brand new! It was ready in only 3 days.

These guys are as good as it gets. They resolved my problems with my computer as they promised and they did it on time. They even waited for me to get to their store 20 minutes after they closed. That is really personal customer service!

Laptops Plus saved my MacBook Pro from death (and arguably myself) and managed to do it in less than a week, even though they had to order a part. The prices are very reasonable. Apple quoted me at least 800 dollars but Laptops Plus was able to save my hard drive, all applications and replace my entire screen (front, back, everything) for under 400 dollars. I highly recommend using this repair shop for whatever you need done. It’s at least worth getting looked at here because the Apple Store’s «Genius» Bar is very overrated and deceptive.

I have been doing business with Laptops Plus for about 13yrs. now and I have bought used laptops from them (3) and all have worked very well and when there has been a problem, they have repaired my computers so fast and cheap that will NEVER go anywhere else, ever!

Outstanding troubleshooting right to the chip level. I have an older Dell laptop I love. It’s blown out on me twice. The first time I went to ell and I had to buy another Motherboard. This time I went to these guys and I only had to pay for a Video Chip.

You will get excellent service here. My 4 yr old HP Pavilion was really sick (in a bad way) and Gil took care of it. It was so bad that it took longer than estimated, but I wasn’t charged more for all the work and they backed up and saved all my files. Very clean space, easy access and plenty of parking, excellent staff with great customer service. I will return if I ever need help again!

Brought in a HP Elite Book in pretty bad shape. I brought it in and asked if they could save it or should I part ways. Nick was extremely friendly and said they could run a diagnostic and get back to me that day. I received a call 2 hours later saying it’s still alive and it’ll be ready for pick up on Monday. The service was fast and professional in every way. I’ll continue to refer anyone who needs their baby fixed.

I took my old Dell Inspiron in to Laptops Plus — West at 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, as it would not hook up to the wi-​fi or ethernet at the house I was temporarily staying at. When I met with Gilbert (Gil) and explained I was only in town a couple more days and needed my Laptop to search for rental property PRONTO, he was super friendly, helpful and had my computer back to me, sans Trojan virus and new avast! installed and updated within a few business hours. My laptop has worked perfectly ever since, and possibly even better than when I took it in!
Kind of hard to spot them, so make sure it is Laptops Plus-​West and not their competitor up the road — And ask for Gil.
Definitely will go back and will recommend them again.

I am so disappointed. I ignored the review left by the only Apple owner since everyone else had such a wonderful experience. Originally I was going to bring my Macbook Pro to another place, unfortunately, it closed down. So I went to Laptop Plus since they had good reviews and was relatively close. The workers there at the time were pretty helpful in estimating how much it would cost (since at the time I wasn’t completely sure what was wrong with my laptop besides the cracked LCD).
Apple had at first quoted me $ 700 (just an estimated amount they would charge for changing LCDs I believe since I didn’t bring my laptop in for a diagnostic). Laptop Plus charges you $ 35 for a diagnostic, if you choose to go ahead with their service, then the $ 35 will be included in your service, however, if you decide to not let them fix it, you will forfeit the $ 35.
I went in to drop off my Macbook Pro on a Friday and they told me they will call me by Monday to tell me the parts they would have to order and how much it would all cost. I received the call on Monday (Jan 20^th) and was able to get everything for $ 353. They had told me the parts would probably arrive by Friday and it would only take about an hour to get everything done and call me to pick it up. I agreed since they were charging a relatively cheap price for a mac repair and I would get my laptop within 5 days.
I didn’t receive a call on Friday, so I wait until Saturday (Jan 25^th) to contact them. I called them and they notified me that they did not receive the parts and it will probably take till next Monday (Jan 27^th) the latest. Okay, no big deal, just 3 more days.
Saturday, Feb 1^st, that is the date that I had to call them to see why I have not received a call from them. They told me that the manufacturing company had sent them the wrong parts when they received it on Wednesday (Jan 29). It would take 3 – 5 business days to have the correct parts to be shipped back. By that time, I was really irked. They didn’t have the decency to call me and update me on any of this. I had to contact them myself. I had originally agreed to leave it with them cause of the price AND the fact that I thought I would be getting my laptop back within 5 days. I’m a college student, not having my laptop to do my assignments was very inconvenient.
I decided on giving up trying to contact them to get updates and just patiently waited for my pick-​up call.
Finally, February 6^th, Thursday, I received a call while I was in class that my laptop was fixed. It took a total of 18 days since the Monday I agreed to their service. They didn’t apologize or offer a discount or anything! When I received my laptop, there was a lint behind the glass on the middle of my screen (which is really distracting when I’m watching videos). Also, there’s this 2x1cm black rectangle showing through my apple logo on the back of the LCD. I don’t know if they forgot to take off a barcode… or if something is broken, but I am really disappointed with the customer service that I received.

I came to this computer repair shop because I won a gift certificate at a vendor booth after spinning a wheel. The gift certificate was for $ 25 off any service repair. I needed to get my laptop wiped because there was definitely a virus that was slowing it down dramatically. I dropped it off on Friday and they called me Saturday afternoon to tell me it was ready. I was not expecting such speedy service. What a great surprise! They originally quoted me to have it completed on Monday so this surpassed my expectations. If you need quick and efficient laptop repair then this is your place.
