LabCorp

It is impossible to get a blood test because they are not open on weekends or early or late on weekdays before or after work hours. Or even during lunch hour. I have searched in vain for a time that works from April 20 for the next 90 days. That is as far ahead as they schedule. They have no appointments between 11:15am and 1:15pm. Nothing before 8:30am or after 4:00pm (some days it stops earlier than 4:00pm). There is nothing at all Monday, April 20 and Monday May 25. I am not saying they don’t do a good job. The problem is the hours.

If you have to get your arm stuck, this is the best place around to do it, mostly because the lady who works there is so nice. Nice enough for me to write a Unilocal review about a LabCorp. And it’s clean, tidy, smells nice, etc. – all of which are not guaranteed when visiting a LabCorp.

When it comes to drawing blood, it all depends on the technician.
In the past, I have been to a couple of other labcorp locations and besides the not so comfortable seating area, was totally distraught at how many pokes I got to draw some blood. And I am not even a textbook hard stick. It was as if I was someone they were practicing on.
Anyways, back to this location or well Armelinda– she is pleasant, friendly and knows her trade extremely well.

I always come to this labcorp location when I have to do blood testing. And oh– since I am TERRIFIED of needles, so thats saying a lot.
The staff here is very knowledgable and very nice! The welcome area and lab environment is clean and not cluttered. The wait time is usually short since there is not a lot of people at this location all the time.
When I get my blood drawn here, the staff is super professional and quick at what she does. Wipe, prick, fill, and walah! Done. Nothing agonizingly painful, and surprisingly fast. My blood tests usually take about two business days to process in lab.
I would definitely recommend this labcorp location, which is conveniently located in a medical plaza. If you ever need testing done, just come here!
