I love this station. As soon as those Christmas Songs come on my car is set to this station!

Instead of twelve days of Christmas it should be twelve songs of Christmas. Whoever created their playlist needs to be more educated on music

Where’s the «Zero-​Star» rating? This station is soooooo boring. Unless, of course, you don’t mind listening to their 12-​song inventory ad nauseum. Then again, you always have their Christmas music season, where they play their 12-​song Christmas inventory: «Merry Christmas, Baby» every hour, anyone? Good Lord, are your executives THAT ignorant!
I only mention this because the cretin in the cubicle next to me has Kyxy on every freakin’ day. She has to be mentally deficient on some way.

I love the Jeff & Jer show, but stopped listening due to the music that is played in between. Always the same music, every single morning. I thought if I have to hear another Bruno Mars song, I am going to stab myself… I haven’t listened to the show for over 6 months now, and I come back today. and whatya know… same stale, overplayed, years old, boring and annoying music as they have been playing for the last year… come on guys. there are hundreds upon hundreds of songs. There’s even new music…

It’s always fun to win something just by listening to what you want to listen to. I’ve won Disneyland Passes, gift cards and fair tickets all over the past 10+ years! I only wish there wasn’t a limit to winning lol! He parking lot sucks though…

I really enjoy this station. The morning Jeff and Jer conversations are fun and funny and just entertaining. Information, traffic, music –what more could you cram into a few hours in the morning.

So i really enjoy the conversation on the morning show, the music that they play, and I love the Movie Mom on Fridays but i was displeased and completely bummed out when I won tickets to Legoland just to be told 5 minutes into the conversation that I can not actually have them because Im not a San Diego resident. I used to live in San Diego and both my husband and mother still work there. I am a San Diegan at heart and this rule makes me sad. It needs to be much more clear to listeners as well.

Let me start off by saying that I LOVE Christmas music. I could listen to it all year round. This is literally the worst Christmas station I’ve ever listened to ever. I would rather listen to Pandora’s awesome Traditional Christmas station and pay $ 10 to go over my data for doing so then listen to this terrible station. I don’t want to hear 30 minutes of kids talking about Santa, it stops being cute after the first 5 minutes. Mariah Carey, Taylor swift and n’sync are the only good «pop stars» with Christmas songs. I don’t know when people stopped playing Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, The Rat Pack, Bing Crosby but unless those artists are on repeat regularly you’re failing. Now that I’ve put too much effort into this bad review, Merry Christmas.

Thank you kyxy for playing non-​stop Christmas music. My mom and I have been searching from radio station to radio station and once I read some reviews on here that your station was going to play non-​stop Christmas music we decided to flip to your channel. Keep it going!

So you make us wait until «Santa calls» to play the Christmas music then you play this gayass remix of a remix of a real Christmas song over and over. Sounds like a reindeer got sat on by fat Christina Aguilera. This year is one epic FAIL.

Where is the ²⁴⁄₇ christmas music at??? It’s the only reason I listened to this station. I know I’m not the only one outraged by this. Everyone at work is complaining too! What’s the deal kxky? We need answers, and we need them now!

Ah man, this station let me down! They used to intersperse Christmas music in their daily playlist a week before Thanksgiving! Not the case this year…
Today is Thanksgiving and so far there is no ²⁴⁄₇ Christmas music as usual. In fact, I have not heard even 1 Christmas song. I will check back tonight I guess.
I am not pleased.
Update: Day after Thanksgiving they started interspersing Christmas music. But it is like one every half hour according to their playlist.
I don’t get it! What happened!!! Stations get their highest ratings when they play Christmas music…
Update: December 1^st has come and gone and still no Christmas music. Also, still no mention or explanation of what is going on from Kyxy.
Update: 12÷3÷14 Kyxy posted a short video to Facebook page. Basically the guy says «We are waiting for Santa to call, and when he does, that is when the music will start.» Um, okay? It still does not explain why there was no music before the day after Thanksgiving and why there is only 1 song every 30 minutes. And waiting for the call from Santa is a bit odd… especially when listeners are asking for it now and it has always started on Thanksgiving.
Update: 12÷4÷14 FINALLY they started the Christmas music at noon! Still no REAL explanation of the change though…

There is not a more true honest human than Tommy! Little Tommy has the heart of an angel, and is a genuine guy! he inspires many!

Listened briefly and neither of the 2 songs I listened to was a Christmas song. I double and triple checked that I was on the right station and supposedly I was. Go figure… the rest of what I heard was commercials. Very disappointed.

The only ²⁴⁄₇ Christmas music station in San Diego since Thanksgiving is a complete embarrassment. It’s the same thin, boring playlist of songs and/​or a surplus of commercials. Even when I tried to give this station a chance it would be on commercials. And by boring I mean the same songs we’ve already heard 10,000 times before that they repeat 10,000 more times throughout the day.
This is the only time I bother to try and listen to this station, but based on how they run their Christmas tunes, I have no reason to listen for the other 11 months of the year. This station must be run by the same goofs who own 98.1. Terrible.

Say what you will about this longtime San Diego radio station — there’s going to be times where you’ll be at a place that is playing KyXy, or you’re in the mood for something calming after a hectic day at work.
KyXy’s what you might call an MOR (middle of the road) radio station — they don’t play anything offensive, and they do have commercial free stretches that are good for the drive home or that one doctor’s appointment that just seems to drag on forever. Over the last few years, KyXy’s playlist is getting away from the easy listening songs from the 70s and 80s that they played ad nauseum (see ya, Christopher Cross) and more of an eclectic (yet nonoffensive) mix of artists. On a recent day, I heard Katy Perry, Maroon 5, and the usual Elton John, Cyndi Lauper, Air Supply, and Celine Dion.
Props to them for also playing Christmas songs ²⁴⁄₇ during the holidays — even though they recycled the same 40 – 50 songs. Seriously, how many times do we have to hear «Merry Christmas, Darling» by the Carpenters?
