I’ve been going to Brooke for a while now and have followed her to her new location at Knstruct. EVERYONE I know has complimented me on my locks since going to Brooke. Her balayage skills are awesome. She’s great and I highly recommend her esp if you’re a blonde like me

I got connected with Brooke at Knstruct as recommended by my old stylist who moved away (boo!). I am extremely happy with my how my hair turned out! Brooke did an amazing job from her attention to detail to really incorporating my preferences into her styling. I immediately trusted her when she told me what she suggested to do with my hair based on a picture I showed her (p.s. it turned out even better!).
The atmosphere and people are friendly and inviting — I loved the décor, and I felt like I had been coming to this salon for ages! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience, talented stylists, and a place to keep coming back to for amazing hair. I’ve found my new stylist :) Thanks Brooke!

I was just recently referred to Heather by a friend and couldn’t be happier to have found her! I had recently moved to SD and was having the most difficult time finding somebody that could highlight my hair correctly. When I first saw Heather my hair had been completely ruined by a previous stylist. It had weird banding and an orange color, not to mention it was very broken and fried!
My natural color is pretty dark and I like for it to be lifted to a very light ashy blonde color. Heather was able to achieve this the very first time I saw her, and was also able to do a little bit of a color correction on me as well. Heather is a perfectionist and pays extreme attention to detail. I have a TON of hair and I know it’s a huge job to highlight it. I never feel like Heather is rushing through my hair, and she always taking her time to make sure everything she does is consistent.
She closely listened to what I wanted, and also asked if I had any pictures of the look I like to be sure we were both on the same page. She was able to get exactly the look I wanted and weeks later I was still loving my hair. I would recommend Heather and this salon to any and everybody!

Knstruct is such a great salon; cute, comfy and there’s always sweets and wine while you get styled! I see Brooke for my blonde highlights and cannot say enough great things about her. She keeps my hair looking natural and not overly dyed like many stylists have a tendency to do with blondes. I have always been particular about who does my hair and I know from experience that it can be tough to find someone who does a good blonde, but I assure you, you won’t be disappointed by Brooke!
While getting my hair done, I’ve also seen Heather in action and she is an awesome stylist as well!

I love Brooke! I’ve been seeing her for a year for highlights and cuts and she’s fabulous. After moving to San Diego, I tried a few well-​reviewed salons and no one wow’d me. Then, I found Brooke and she knew exactly what to do with my color. I recently decided to switch to hair color with less chemicals and she was happy to find me a great organic color that looks fantastic. I can’t recommend her enough!

I love Brooke! She’s been doing my hair for almost a year now, and I’ve never been disappointed with my cut or color. I always leave feeling amazing with beautiful hair. Give her a try! You’ll never want to switch salons again. (Her head massages while washing are on point too!)

Heather at Knstruct has been cutting my hair for a while. Her salon is located in the vibrant East Village just 4 blocks from Petco Park. I would encourage anyone living in that area to give this place a shot. Being able to walk to your next appointment is quite a luxury! If you need parking no problem, there is a parking lot across the street even though street parking isn’t usually an issue. 5 stars from me for the location, quality of services and of course the fresh baked cookies!

Heather is a hair genius! I have never dyed my hair before and I was scared to finally take the plunge. But I did it thanks to her! I went from my natural dark brown/​black to a balayage with light browns and even some blonde. The second time, I went for a very dark brown with a violet/​auburn tone. It was magnificent. It definitely complimented my dark features and my personality. I’ve always had a hard time finding a stylist who can cut and work with my thick, curly/​wavy hair, and she did it beautifully with no hesitation. She is a master at her craft!

Heather is seriously a hair master! I have been going to her for years and she never ceases to amaze me! I’ve been a chestnut brunette, a burgundy ombré, and now a fiery red ombré! She can turn your wildest hair dreams into a reality!

It took me 5 years after moving to San Diego to finding a stylist who could color my hair and that I could trust with cut. I have had Heather Hall as my stylist for 2.5 years and am so happy I found her! She is extremely passionate about every persons hair she touches and takes time to create perfection! She has taken me from highlights, to blonde, to ombré, to red! I never in a million years thought I would trust someone enough to dye my hair red. I have never gotten more compliments on my hair color than I have since seeing Heather, and I refer everyone I can to her amazing services! She has done Brazilian blowouts for me for more than a year which always comes out fantastic — taming this curly crazy hair of mine :) If you are looking for a quality hair dresser and designer, definitely go to Heather’s new salon, Knstruct!

Love this place! Heather Hall is a genius! I’ve been going to her for a couple years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else! She is so passionate at what she does and it definitely shows. I wanted something new last year and wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do but Heather worked her magic and I ended up with new ombré hair that I absolutely love. She knows what looks good on you personally. Shes absolutely amazing with color. She does allll the colors– blonde, blue, purple, pink. Heather does it all! If you want some cute braids or an updo, shes got you covered!

Just got a hair cut by Heather and she is amazing! So glad my friend referred her. Will definitely go back for hair cut AND get my hair colored next time as she is passionate in what she does… I have seen the outcome on her other clients and it’s like artwork!
I cannot forget the hair wash by Tyler. Wow. The hair/​head massage was exactly what I needed to end the week.
Overall… great service, great results, and great location!

Brooke and Heather both are magical at this new trendy little salon. I will never go anywhere else again. My hair feels as though it has been kissed by sweet angels and it looks absolutely fantastic.
