My mission is to ensure that as many people as possible are fulfilled and rewarded by the work they do. I want you to feel good on Sunday night at 9pm. My business provides individual and corporate career development services, to clients in San Diego and throughout the US. Kim Eisenberg is a career counselor, executive coach, and talent management consultant with over ten years of experience helping people manage their careers.

She spent 6 years with Right Management, a global consulting firm and Manpower subsidiary, where she helped individuals successfully navigate challenging transitions. Kim also partnered with businesses on their HR & talent management strategies. Her client base included Fortune 500 companies, national associations, NGOs, and non-​profits.

After Right, she moved to San Diego, completed her Master’s and held several management positions with broad responsibility for hiring, training, and developing teams. She also published articles in a few peer-​reviewed journals.

In her private practice, Kim blends her unique background in corporate career services, her personal experience in management, and her training in strengths-​based counseling. The result is sharp, business savvy coaching delivered with a warm and supportive style.

Kim rocks! I’d absolutely recommend her for anyone who’s looking to either change careers or get further in their existing one. When I met her, I was absolutely miserable in my current position and I decided to try a session or two with her to explore my options and I ended up working with her for quite awhile including both her counseling and resume-​writing services. Her rates are extremely reasonable for the kind of value it provides. And it was absolutely worth every penny. She’ll ask you the kinds of hard questions that you need to answer to get where you want to be. Within a short time she had me asking myself those questions. My situation had shifted between when I’d made the appointment and our meeting (namely, I’d received a job offer), but she quickly adapted to the change and asked questions to help guide me through the decision of whether or not to take the offer (I did). Kim helped me by doing some mock interviewing and helped me rewrite my resume. To my surprise, I got a job so quickly that I didn’t work with her as much as I planned! This new job was definitely a promotion over my last one, and I’m very happy 4 months in.
In the interest of full disclosure: I know Kim personally, which is how I came to work with her for career services. When she asked me to write a review, I happily said I would. While I’ve never worked with other one-​on-​one coaches, I had mandatory career classes in college which were designed to prepare me for to write a strong resume and hone my interviewing skills.
Kim helped me refine those skills and gave me context specific suggestions (my new job is with a much smaller company than my last job). She helped build my confidence in myself, and helped pinpoint my strengths and articulate them in ways I hadn’t though of. I think I, like many others, suffer from «imposter syndrome» and she definitely helped me have more confidence in my skills. Finally, she refreshed my resume and formatted it to look truly professional. My classes at best got me something passable, but she helped get it to a point where it really stood out.

Ms. Eisenberg interviewed me for 2 hours in order to get my detailed work history and information and delivered a polished, professional resume within several days.
