Meet the Business Owner
Kevin F.
Business Owner
I moved to San Diego in 1998 to begin my college career at Point Loma Nazarene University. I later completed my academic education with a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, San Diego.
My pre-doctoral training involved work at Isis Crisis House, the Chadwick Center for Children and Families at Children’s Hospital San Diego, and the Clinical Services program at Catholic Charities. I also worked as a psychological assistant in the private practice of local psychologist Dr. Karen Hyland. I completed my post-doctoral clinical training working with college students for two years in the Wellness Center at PLNU.
In addition to my clinical work, I have been working at PLNU as an Adjunct Professor since 2005, and have taught classes on the Psychology of Personal Development, Theories of Personality and Adult Development, Clinical and Community Interventions, and Group Counseling.
