Kathy Trolinger

I’m reviewing a particular «Home mortgage Consultant» Kathy Trolinger.
I contacted Kathy Trolinger in January of 2011 to have her try to get a loan to buy a house in the USA. I was moving from the Netherlands and needed specific specialized help and was assured that Greenpath Funding was the company to do it.
Maybe this was the case but it was absolutely not the case with Kathy. She is a very nice person, very sweet, but if she put as much work into actually doing her job as she does into telling you how hard she is working for you, you’d be fine.
Don’t hold your breath waiting for an email response or phone call. She didn’t communicate with me until I hunted her down. My real estate agent and I would joke about how many times we would each have to call before we got a response, to try to keep our spirits up.
Her lagging caused me to lose the first house that I had an offer on, the underwriting approval came 3 days AFTER we fell out of escrow!
She went on vacation during the course of my loan application and I actually received responses to my emails from the fellow that took over her cases whilst he was out of the office attending the birth of his first child!!!
There were excuses after excuses about why my loan wasn’t going through. She caused me to amend my last 5 years of tax returns at a moment’s notice, AFTER she knew that my loan was not going to go through.
She caused me months of stress and trouble because she NEVER COMMUNICATED with me.
Ultimately, I did not make it through the loan process with Greenpath. I truly believe that had Kathy Trolinger done her job and communicated with me we would have been able to close on my loan in a timely manner, as was the case with the other company that I got my loan through.
