Jet​setz​.com was started over 3 years ago by Steve Barber. Steve had just sold is interest as the owner and founder the largest travel agency in San Diego — the Travel Support Center. Steve used his 10 years of online travel agency experience to negotiate deep discounts directly with the airlines, hotels & rental car companies. This exclusive discount inventory can now be booked directly online at Jet​setz​.com.

After 3 years of development, Jet​setz​.com has recently gone live and is experiencing rapid growth. We are fortunate that there is a large demand for traveler’s who want to experience a nicer vacation at a discount price.

With over 20 years of travel management experience, and 10 years owning the largest online travel agency in San Diego, Steve Barber has extensive experience running online travel websites. This experience has translated into developing Jet​setz​.com.

Steve Barber recently sold his interested in the Travel Support Center, Inc. (TSC) which owned and powered many large travel sites. TSC was the largest travel agency in San Diego with over $ 200 million in annual sales when Steve sold his ownership in the company back in 2008.

Since the sale of TSC, Steve has focused 100% of his energies on the development of Jet​setz​.com, with many long hours spent on design and development of the website. Much of this development process has been detailed on www​.face​book​.com/​j​e​tsetz for readers to enjoy. The site recently went live in September, 2011. Now that Jet​setz​.com is live, it is Steve’s goal to make Jet​setz​.com the premier provider of online travel services in the United States & Canada.

I was trying to book a trip to London and Europe for early next year, so I decided to try Jetsetz, which was recommended by a friend. But it looks like this company may not exist anymore.
When I type in
, I see their webpage interface, but when I plug in my itinerary details, I am redirected to another site called «
.» That site contains tabs to other discount travel sites, including Expedia, STA Travel and TripAdvisor. If I wanted to search other discount sites, then I would go there in the first place. It seems that Jetsetz is merely acting as a middle man.
I much prefer to hit up Kayak, which pulls up all the cheap fares in one easy, comprehensive search. Clicking individual tabs is cumbersome and annoying.
I wonder what the deal was with this place and the BBB states this place may be no longer in business. Bottom line is that I am not comfortable with providing my credit card information to a company that may not be in business anymore.
Looks like I need to take my business elsewhere.

I recently used Jetsetz to book a flight, hotel and car to Memphis. What I liked about them is they are not only an online service who’s site is comparable to the big guys, but also a traditional travel agency with a knowledgeable and very helpful staff. They will go the extra mile for your business. The prices I was finding online at all travel sites for my flight alone to Memphis was about $ 1100 round trip. I called in at Jetsetz see what they can do for me. I spoke to Erica and she asked about any flexibility I have with flight dates and times. She told me she would search additional resources and we ended up booking a flight for under $ 500! I would use them again for future travel and have already recommended Erica to family and friends.

I would avoid. I’d recommend Priceline, Kayak (now owned by Priceline), Expedia, and Orbitz before Jetsetz. I take four trips per year of 10 days or more and will do so for the next 20 – 30 years. My family is an ideal candidate for the type of service Jetsetz provides. We had an issue with a trip and the person I spoke with was rude and disingenuous. She made us feel stupid and that’s just an awful feeling to have when you’re going through the stress of planning a trip. It’s possible that she was having a bad day and I wanted to give Jetsetz the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately no one from the company responded to my concern.
