JC Landworks

JC Landworks is the best! I almost don’t want to review them so that I can keep them all to myself! Jesus is really trustworthy and takes the time to work with you, making him a great resource for your landscaping projects. I got referred to him from a coworker who couldn’t stop praising his work and I’m glad we went with him. He’s easy to get along with and had very fair prices which beat out some of the others guys who must of thought I wanted diamonds stamped in my concrete.
Our yard was a mess that we bought from a hoarder. Jesus took our junk yard and turned it into our own outdoor living room. We get compliments whenever we have friends, family, and even other contractors out doing other work.
Jesus and his crew did the following:
–demo existing yard
–level/​graded
–added drainage
–ran gas/​electrical/​water lines, stubbed for future use
–built retaining wall
–poured the concrete (obviously)
–paver pathway (separate, 2^nd project back)
He’s done it all and it always turns out way better than we imagine. He has a great crew also, his lead guy for our house Angel worked so hard! Jesus is also able to take CC through a Chase swiper which is very convenient and he is always easy to get a hold of. We plan to have him back next spring to build our BBQ!

Words can’t express how beyond thrilled we are with the outcome of our landscaping provided by JC Landworks! The level of expertise, efficiency, quality, customer service, honesty and everything beyond and in between was top notch.
Jesus is an excellent business owner, he checked in with me daily and made sure everything was perfect! His crew is awesome! So detailed orientated (more then I was expecting and I have very high expectations).
They clean up everything at the end of each day and it barely looked like we were having work done in our yard because of how tidy they were! Even though they were here only for a few days (we have a small area to work with) We will actually miss seeing their smiling faces every morning even though we are excited to enjoy our yard :)
In short I am recommending JC Landworks to everyone I know. There is No need to look elsewhere people, get your landscaping done by Jesus and his crew!

Mr. Jesus Covarrubias of JC Landworks (619.591.3477) did the following at my residence in Tierrasanta:
— Removed all existing lawn, shrubs, & fence.
— Constructed two masonry retaining walls with stucco finishing, one retaining wall was about 40 feet and the other was about 160 feet.
— Poured two raised 8′ x 10′ pads of concrete for construction of sheds in a field of colored concrete.
— Constructed colored concrete steps to a large landing that allows entrance to front door or side door.
— Designed a great looking meandering walkway from the side of the house to the new landing at the top of the steps, to the front of the house.
— New six foot fence out of redwood with gate.
— Developed a landscape drawing showing the newly constructed hardscape, the ten tons of blue granite rocks, and a plant layout.
— Planted a Hong Kong Orchid tree and dozens of plants amongst rocks.
— Installed drip irrigation to all plants.
— Installed proper drainage throughout entire yard.
The above items were done in the front and side yard. There was also substantial work done in the backyard, including:
— Removed plants in the backyard, two very large trees, and readied backyard for new drip line installation.
— Installed new raised colored concrete pad beside BBQ island to match existing concrete.
— Installed new redwood gate.
So it’s obvious there was a significant amount of work accomplished. I don’t want to make this review too long by going into the detail of each item accomplished (e.g., about how solidly and straight the retaining walls were constructed), but it was all done very professionally with no surprises, on schedule, and we we were very happy about what we got for our money. It was really nice to get all the walkers making comments about the job. The contractor got several more jobs from local residents that were watching the work being accomplished.
