I’ve been coming to this ITan for over a year and have wanted to write a review for a while now.
I used to be an avid spray tanner— an addict even– and every time I went Amanda was such a pleasure to chat with!
I went recently during the new year and met a sweet little brunette girl– I think her name was Breanna? She was so knowledgable and kind, even when eager holiday spray tanners were pushy or rude. Way to stay poised girl!
I’ve had some bad tanning experiences and some even at other ITan locations. Having worked at tanning salons when I was in college, I know how hard it can be to stand there while a client for what seems like no reason is condescending and snippy to you.
Overall the girls here are intelligent, polite and not overly «salesy» but get the job done. The salon is clean and there’s always parking.

I have been coming to here for over 2 years now and I LOVE it! Reasonable prices and so many packages to choose from. Everyone there is amazing Amanda and Hannah are definitely my favorite they are always so friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service! Just tried out another new iTan location, this time being La Jolla. I wasn’t sure what services they had so on my way there I called to figure out what I wanted to do. The person working was so patient and sweet to me on the phone and very helpful. Keep it up iTan, you are rad!

All I can say is: WOW! This salon is seriously my fave! The staff at this location are always so warm and welcoming! They treat you with the best customer service and even remember your name. I spray tan at least once a week and always get the best results! If anyone is in need of a tan, this is the place to go! Amanda, Hannah, Allie, and Matty — Keep up the great work!

This iTan has always been stocked with all the supplies when I go in to get my spray down. Nothing is worse than getting naked and realizing something is missing. I’ve never had to wait at this one, although they only have 1 spray booth. Maybe I’ve just gone at the right times! Staff is always peppy and sweet. My favorite location for iTan. I just wish I lived nearby. I only go when it’s on my way to visit my friend who lives nearby.

I had never used a tanning bed before, but was in need of a tan last December. Both my mom and dad go to iTan — La Jolla and recommended it to me. Upon arriving the girl at the front was very helpful and set me up with a great deal. After going there multiple times I feel confident in giving them a review. The employees are extremely kind and professional, my only concern with this iTan location is that there are minimal rooms and if the one you want is taken you will have to wait. Not a huge deal, but sometimes not the most convenient.

While I am a usually happy ITan member, the experience I had at the LJ Blvd location this weekend was noteworthy… take caution. The bronze bed was in use so the staff member suggested getting in the reddening skin cancer burn blaster. She kept saying it was different than the bronze bed and a great mix. I am on day 3 of fluorescent strawberry glow. Ouch

I cant say enough about the ladies that work here. There customer service is Excellent. They always have a smile on there face ready to greet you at the door. I absolutely love iTAN they have fair prices and so many different things to experience besides Tanning. Along with there wonderful staff. Thanks Again Ladies for the great year of Tanning. I refer everyone i know here La Jolla iTan is the best.

I had not tanned in years when I walked into Itan la Jolla. Jess, the manager, educated me on the options available using spray and or bed tanning and put me on a progressive program that had me tanned and not burned to a crisp! She also set me up with great after care lotions. What I didn’t expect we’re all the other amenities located at the store! I opted for a surprisingly cheap all inclusive 30 day package and ended up getting my teeth whitened, hydro massaged, body wrapped and tanned. What it cost for all this was less than what I’m used to paying for a massage at a resort! Can’t say enough about the place. Girls are hot & helpful and it’s like having unlimited body attention at a nice resort! We’ll dine Itan!

I have been coming here for over 10 years and everything about this place is awesome, espically the staff– Jessica and the girls are amazing with industry knowledge, product knowledge– they are quick to get you in and out and are extremely friendly. The tanning is amazing too the spray bed is awesome it’s nice to have it heat activated. Definately come here you will be very pleased you did.

I like to come here because service is great and the spray tan booth is clean and warm (this is important when you’re standing naked).
Price is a little much for me ($ 26 for one spray tan) so I only come if I have a groupon deal or come on Mondays when it’s only $ 10! There’s also a deal if you’re a first time customer and you check in on Unilocal.Give this place a shot if you’ve never been yet.

I have gone to a few iTANs now and have to give a shout out to how great La Jolla is! This place is immaculate, and I get such fast color in the level 5 bed! There are great deals going on, so I always find something that works when I come in. The girls that work there are also very helpful in recommendations for packages and bronzers. It’s upstairs, so the location is a bit tricky to find, but once you do, it’s like your secret salon :) They also just got the hydration machine which I normally uses at San Marcos, if you haven’t tried it, do! I normally just stop in here before my trip to the beach, and the hydration service helps prep your skin for your color development!

I can’t say enough about iTAN! My main location is La Jolla and although one of the smaller locations, it is always a pleasure to go there. The girls who work there are so friendly and helpful, the beds are always immaculate and I always look forward to going. I’ve never had a bad experience at any iTAN location and frequent the San Marcos location too! I have a $ 99/​month unlimited access membership and take advantage of ALL of the cool spa treatments as often as possible. It seems almost too good to be true sometimes.

As far as tanning salons go, this one is great. Hardly ever a wait, nice workers, & as far as I am concerned, 999.00 for a yr unlimited double dip level 5 is unbeatable.
Convienient for me, great bulbs, a standup bed, and a new mystic machine.

I know I know tanning isn’t the greatest thing in the world for you or your skin. But when you do need to get a glow, this place will help. The girls there are all very very sweet and knowledgeable about the whole tanning process. The rooms are pretty small so when changing careful not to bump an elbow or toe. I like that everything is pretty clean and they provide the eye wear. The price varies from package to package. I pay $ 50.00 for the level 3 and below the level 5 and below is $ 100 a month. That’s a lot to me when I used to pay $ 60 for unlimited use for all beds including mystic and the versa spa down in Denver. But it is La Jolla so I guess that’s the excuse.
