I am flabbergasted that people actually eat here. What happened to quality? I mean, we’re talking eating in an establishment specifically made for furniture sales and this is what people have resorted to to save a buck? This is beyond me that people would actually make that decision! Shame on anyone who eats here!

Four dollars for a package of cinnamon rolls freshly baked out of their ovens?! How can you say no to that? Like all IKEA snack bars this is a good place for cheap beats if you’re on the go especially if you’ve been shopping for your home and I’ve been circling around the maze that is IKEA. Hot dogs, pizza which I’ve never tried, and they’re frozen yogurt or ice cream. Everything that I’ve tried a few good and everything that I’ve tried has been very affordable. Additionally I really like the little grocery side of the ikea snack bar. I especially love their lingonberry jam. Yum!

Don’t have the time to visit the IKEA cafeteria? Hit up the IKEA Snack Bar at the registers on the way out. It’s you last chance to grab a bite on the way out. It’s nothing spectacular, but it’s cheap, convenient and Bebe approves of the soft serve cones.

Light at the end of a tunnel! After all that furniture shopping, I always find ridiculous amounts of joy and delight in buying a $ 1(with tax included) cone of soft serve from the IKEA Snack Bar. The consistency of the soft serve is MUCH better than McDonald’s, and you get so much for your money! Love it :)

Hot dogs for $ 0.50! Soft serve vanilla cones for $ 1.00! That’s all I came to Ikea for the last time I was here, plus I had to use the restroom, but not to rest. The hot dogs are served from bins with water that they were floating in, but it’s only $ 0.50 for a dog, not bad, If you want Hebrew National walk over to Costco and get one there. The vanilla soft serve cone is only $ 1.00. You can’t beat those prices for a quick bite from walking the darn store. Kind of makes me hungry from all of that walking.

I wrote a tip here recently… It’s like the Costco snack bar, but a little more pricey, though you do get a better variety. I tend to get their soft serve and root bear, and make my own root beer floats. Who says I can’t? Service blows though.

IKEAFOOD — Review of the grocery store inside the IKEA building, but not actually in the furniture store. Why don’t they sell this stuff inside the store? Ar they skirting some licensing law? iIs it a tax dodge or some insurance BS, or maybe a way to get the local grocery unions off their back. In any case, it’s an inconvenience having to go through two checkout lines especially when you’re pushing around a cart of cheap cr*p. The items are more novelty than substance. Swedish meatballs are a good pickup, though are they any different than the frozen meatballs at Trader Joes? Not every food item is made in Sweden. Read labels! Hotdogs — can’t complain about the price. Cinnamon rolls. Smell good throughout the store, but taste like cr*p.

The pizza and frozen yogurt are pretty good. Frozen Yogurt tastes just like McDonalds ice cream. Costco across the way has better pizza. My uncles had the cinnamon and coffee. Both were very happy with their snacks.

Sunday, we went to Ikea to pick out a new bed frame. It was hot out, remember? So we got some sodas for $ 1 each. And multiple refills. Monday, we went to Ikea to pick UP the new bed frame. It was hot out, remember? And my BF had just walked over to Ikea from work, and hadn’t eaten lunch yet. So he got 2 hot dogs and a soda that was refilled 3 times. I got a fro-yo cone. Total cost: 3BUCKS I treated, because I’m a sweet girl like that.

Ikea is all about cheap and the food in this snack bar is a reflection of that. For pete’s sake people, have the decency to walk to the Costco across the lot to get a REAL hotdog. The one they sell here is crap. Use the money you saved from the cheap furniture to treat yourself to a great hotdog at Costco and it’s not even that much more.
