Always providing the Rxght dose of sunshine and happiness! This isn’t the closest pharmacy to my place, but the service is top-​notch so I make the trek. Sergio is the best! Located where parking is pretty terrible but they have 6 free spots in the alley. Say whaaaaat!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this pharmacy… I’ve been a customer for over 15 years. They have been with me through five or six address changes and numerous insurance issues/​problems/​changes. Each and every time I’ve experienced nothing but phenomenal customer service. Every staff member I’ve ever spoke to has went above and beyond and has always been so helpful. Having health issues can sometimes be stressful and dealing with insurance companies and co-​pays that just adds to stress however the staff at Hillcrest Pharmacy has alleviated that stress for me when it comes to my medication. To know that I can always rely on the fantastic service of Hillcrest Pharmacy is a huge weight off my shoulders. Thank you for being so awesome.

I absolutely love this pharmacy! The staff is the friendliest in town. They are always willing to help address any questions or concerns and take a sincere interest in the needs of their clients. Special shout out to Sergio who seems to know everyone by name and always make makes me feel welcome everytime I come in. I would highly recommend Hillcrest Pharmacy.

I cannot say enough good things about Hillcrest Pharmacy. I will never ever ever use anybody else for prescription needs. They have a text alert service, their employees are super friendly, they always have candy for their customers, the wait time is always reasonable to no wait at all and I could go on and on.
One employee in partricular Sergio is always beyond friendly and happy to be at work.

For 15 years this has been my pharmacy. In my monthly dealings with the place, its employees have always been a customer’s dream. Through the years, the pharmacy has seen very little turnover; it shows in the well practiced efficiency, and the effortless courtesy of those behind the counter To the employees, I am John — in person or on the phone. Their home delivery service is an appreciated and welcomed perk. (They even have have a Montana address in my file, for those traveling times when the pill bottles didn’t make it into my carry-​on, and overnight delivery was their solution.) Lacking doctor ordered refills, this month’s home delivery was incomplete. The refills were ordered and the bottles were filled. They would deliver the balance of the order, of course. With nothing pressing to do, I opted to pick them up in person. Nearly December in San Diego? I slipped on my winter flip-​flops and made the 20-​block trek through the Park and to the pharmacy. «Hi John,» came the expected greeting, followed by the familiar flawless service. Well, at least I think it was. Truthfully, I was already busy contemplating my choices. .. from the always present, overflowing basket of complimentary chocolates. A great walk, Balboa Park, beautiful weather, exceptional customer service, free candy. .. CHOCOLATE candy. #thelittlethings

This is pretty much as good as it gets when you want that «We Care» feeling ! The staff is always very helpful and very much on top of the game. Often more so than I am with my meds :-) Putting customers first is always the priority when doing business. I guaranteed a smile and more often than not a hug or two from the staff makes this place my go to spot ! Thx Hillcrest Pharmacy Team !!!

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Convenient text message and email reminders when it’s time to refill prescription. Staff will also always keep an eye out for ways to save you money. They told me about a manufacturer program that covers my copay for my RX. Love them!

About one year ago I switched to Hillcrest Pharmacy and I couldn’t be happier about it.
Ivy and Sergio are outright amazing. The staff is professional, personable and always on top of their game when it comes to caring for me.
Last month I changed insurance and again… they didn’t miss a step. Ivy even called to ask if I wanted to apply for copay assistance for some of my meds. She then emailed me all the info and in 20 minutes it was in place.
I can’t imagine any other pharmacy taking such great care of their customers like HIllcrest Pharmacy does.

The best. They take lots of different insurances, including mine. I didn’t have to pay anything for my rx and they were very courteous and informative. Due to the nature of my medication they couldn’t deliver the first time, they had to get my ID scanned into their system first, but they weren’t rude about it. They were really straight-​forward and kind and helpful. Let’s be honest, everything is better in Hillcrest

First-​time experience not so great, but since they are a local business willing to give them another chance. Prescription wasn’t ready and took 30 minutes instead of the 10 – 15 they originally stated. Moving prescriptions to new pharmacy always a hassle. Hoping next time will go smoother. Would really like to get away from CVS and the terrible customer service there. The people at Hillcrest seemed very nice and very community oriented.

Great service and the staff is very helpful. Jessenia is my favorite because she will go out of her way for you and do anything to keep you happy and well! She always has your best interest at heart.

They deliver and have charge systems. They always have my medicine on time, which rarely can be said for a Pharmacy

By far the most professional pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. The staff is very well trained and if they say they’re going to call you back by a certain time, they you can bet your life on it. Very dependable, reliable, and professional. And they deliver!

I’ve been working with Hillcrest pharmacy for over a year now and I LOVE their service, they really now the meaning of customer service and also the importance of returning calls and taking care of their customers. I personally have been working with Nick Warren and he has been more than great to me. Always answers my questions and returns my calls in an impecable timely manner. I would recommend working with him.

This is pharmacy is by far, one of the weirdest I’ve ever been to. And the reason for this is because it’s awesome. In the past, I’ve only just used the Walgreen’s or CVS that was closest to my apartment. I didn’t really think there was much of a difference between pharmacies. But since I’m new to San Diego and started using Unilocal for everything just for the hell of it, I saw this places had high stars and gave it a shot for curiosity’s sake.
I’m glad I did. First off, I’m stupid because I didn’t realize stand alone pharmacies even existed anymore. I had been living in Tucson for the last 7 ½ years. I never noticed any. Secondly, the front desk people are ridiculously nice. After I told the guy working the counter this was the coolest pharmacy I’ve ever been to based on the way the customers in front of me were getting treated, he assured me «their customers are not treated just as numbers when they come in the door». I don’t mind getting treated like a number at a pharmacy, but I’ll probably change my tune now that this place is spoiling me. He then proceeded to give me a leaflet which was an invitation to their customer appreciation picnic where they raffle off a flat screen HD TV. I am not making this up. I had tickets to comic con on the day of the picnic so I didn’t get to go, but I would’ve otherwise out of more curiosity and the fact that it’s such a nice gesture of a pharmacy to do that for their customers. Sorry I can’t remember the guy’s name because he deserves a major shout-​out.
Also, I had to pick up half of my prescription later that week (because it had to be ordered) and I dealt with another person and she was just as awesome.
I think I’ll stop gushing about how much I love this place and just say that I’m definitely going to be a regular customer at Hillcrest Pharmacy.
One thing worth noting. The parking isn’t the best. Both times I went in the afternoon and I ended up parking at a meter on Washington Street and walking back. I would hardly call it a far walk. But definitely bring some quarters. I am not positive about this but it looked as if the parking that is closer to the pharmacy may be free but is 30 minute parking. So the meters (with a 2 hour maximum limit) can sometimes be a better bet if you’re not sure how long it will take to get your order filled. I think I was there a little over 30 minutes the first time I went but that was only because they also had to register me with my insurance into the system being a new customer and all.

Simply the best of the best. Always a pleasure to stop by or have my medication delivered. Spiffy dresser.

Love this pharmacy! They make it super convenient for me to get my medications. They deliever for free any where in sd county, which is awesome! One of the staff members named Ceci is super sweet when I call to check up on my refills, she is always friendly and gets back to me in a timely manner. I live in La Mesa so I saves me the drive, gas and traffic time! I also checked out their website and now they offer online refilling services, plus they text my phone when my meds are ready.

I don’t usually go to non-​chain pharmacies, but I decided to this time just because I happened to be in the neighborhood. Boy, was I sorry! The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing, and if you try to ask, they get nasty with you! I have moved my prescription to another pharmacy. So far, this second pharmacy has been wonderful. Once the transaction is complete, I will be writing a review on them as well.
This pharmacy used to be really wonderful, and it’s SUCH a disappointment to be treated poorly by ANY pharmacy, let alone one whose mission used to be serving special needs communities.
Dont’ go to this pharmacy! Their prices are inflated, and they don’t seem to know the meaning of the word «resect.»

HIllcrest Pharmacy has always treated me really well. I’m a relatively new customer and my favorite part about going there is the staff. It’s a friendly, warm environment. I’m pretty sure it’s family owned and run which is a big draw for me in today’s standardized healthcare system.
