Maggie is the sweetest and they’ll help you find whatever you need. We often go when we are to lazy to go to the grocery store also. Tons of nic nac snacks too

I love the owner. And the lady who makes All the yummy sandwiches. This place is an old school bomb deli. The tuna is off the hook. The pastrami too. I work down the street and always roll up here for a quick sandwich:)

I’ve never had a grandma, but if I had one, I imagine she’d make me sandwiches like the ones they serve here. Comforting goodness.

Very unfortunate. For the third time, I bought an expired product at this place. Enough is enough. While it bothered me the first time with a bag of cookies, I gave them a second chance and bought a pint of ice cream that didn’t taste right. Looked at the date, and sure enough, expired by months. Fool me thrice… So this last time, same deal, but with different ice cream. Didn’t taste right and had one of those ***PAUSE*** «Can I really be this dumb?» ***UNPAUSE*** moments. Looked at the date, and it was expired by three months. I just wanted to let it go and not go here anymore, but it has since happened to my co-worker, and she actually got sick. She bought a soup there that, more or less, upset her stomach, and when she looked, it was expired by about one year. That’s ridiculous.

I’m a huge fan of this place! The Gyros are a must-try… Over and over again… All the potato salads are amazing, as is anything that Maggie makes really… Consider yourself warned :)

I’ve made my way a number of times to Heidi’s, living in the neighborhood, it’s been rather convenient having a reasonably-priced liquor store when I need to grab a quick bottle of vino for dinner or board game night. And though I’m normally in-and-out within minutes, I’ve appreciated the friendly atmosphere I’ve consistently encountered. I ordered an amazing roast beef sandwich from them tonight(Maggie’s recommendation) and had to make sure to leave a review — was so good!

I had a chicken shawarma today, and it was DELICIOUS! Great flavor, a little spicy(although they asked if I wanted it spicy — but it was not overbearingly spicy), and very filling. They seemed to have a good selection of snacks and wine as well. I didn’t really look around much though since I just came to grab lunch at work. It took about 10 – 15 minutes to order, have my food cook, and pay… So not that long, but not super fast either if you have a short lunch break. It was just under $ 9. There was a sign that said $ 10 minimum for credit, $ 5 minimum for debit with an additional 50 cent charge… But… They didn’t charge me extra! So that was cool. I’ll definitely be back to grab a quick lunch again soon. They also have 3 small tables outside if you have time to eat your lunch there.

Great selection at reasonable prices, ESPECIALLY for the area! Excellent whiskey/bourbon selection too! Ohh, stunning sandwiches!!! The staff is wonderful; pleasant and helpful!!! OAN, every time I’ve been in Heidi’s, the customers have been so nice! The last time we were there, we had a conversation across the aisles, with an(adorable) couple who were also there for the great selection. I don’t think we ever saw each other. It was great, we talked about Unilocaling, and that we both Unilocal’d for positives as much or more, than we Unilocal’d for bad service. We hated that most people just Unilocal’d for bad service. Anyway, they paid and left before we got to the counter. HOWEVER, they left us $ 10 towards our wine!!! So freakin’ awesome!!! We paid it forward to the next customer… and so it goes… Such a great little liquor store, with awesome sandwiches, an eclectic selection of craft beers and liquor, PLUS amazing people, behind the counter and in the aisles… Go to Heidi’s if you’re in the area… Head in, and say hello!

Be very specific on what you want as this place has been hit-or-miss for me. I’ve been here twice and while the team there is super nice, my last sandwich was a big miss. All the ingredients for their sammys seem to be spelled out clearly on the menu where you order. On my last trip, I asked for mine without lettuce or tomato, which didn’t seem like a big deal and it wasn’t. However, while the lettuce and tomato were left off, they included mayo along with the sauce I was already getting(honey mustard I think) and onions, neither of which were mentioned on the existing ingredient list. Beer selection is top-notch and the people behind the front check-out counter are usually nice. If you go, just be specific with what you want on your sandwich or don’t be as picky as I am ;-)

They have decent selection of beers, wines and liquors. They have parking. And Heidi is very friendly:) They have random snacks there too and sandwiches as well — I didn’t try those. Good local place.

19.26 for 3 sandwiches that were really quite small, nothing exciting, took about 25 minutes to make. What really irked me was that there is a sign that says Debit: 10.00 minimum 50 cent charge Well, why not just one or the other? Already really expensive, teeny portions, nickel and dime on things means I won’t be back.

This place was okay! I ordered the Torpedo sandwich. The cashier lady was very nice but the woman behind the deli counter didn’t seem very happy, so points off for that. The sandwich itself was okay. I wasn’t that impressed, but my super hungry friend liked it.(We shared the sandwich). It doesn’t exactly make me want to come running back for a sandwich, but if I happen to be in the area and want a quick snack, I might come back and try something different on the sandwich menu. I do like the outdoor seating! It was actually really nice, and I liked having a relaxing place to hang out, enjoy the pretty weather and wait for my friend to finish getting her tattoo across the street!

I have stopped by Heidi’s for several different items. It is a very convenient store. First, they have a wine selection that allows me to purchase something decent for dinner without having to hassle with the Grocery store. Prices are a few dollars more for wine, but that is the cost of convenience. Second, when I needed a sandwich to take on a trip with me, Heidi’s had me covered. The sandwich was fresh, tasty and prepared exactly to my specifications. Third, the staff is really friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Pros: Clean inside Wine is reasonably priced Open late Very nice that they have parking right outside Very friendly Great selection Cons: Charge $.50 credit card fee but do not tell you Beats going to the grocery store or far away for a late night beer/wine/champagne run

My review is only for the deli. I didn’t hit up the liquor store, but it looked very clean, stocked and orderly. It seems like they have been remodeling this store for years and they have spent a fortune on the space and it looks great(Heidi are you a front for the cartels?). I was biking by one day and decided to try out a sandwich to go. There was nobody else inside. Here’s my rub and the 3 star. The lady behind the counter of the deli was so snarky. She acted like I was interrupting her union break… a seriously frosty reception and there was nobody else to service. On the plus the lady at the cash register(who I am gonna assume is Heidi) was super nice. Now let’s talk food. The sandwich was good, but overall not memorable. I also thought their menu selections were limited and pretty basic — I don’t remember seeing anything that really got the motor revving. For my money in PB, I’d rather go to Crest Liquor for what I think is a better sandwich served by a friendlier staff.
