My name is Bridgette Moss (Ms. Bridgette) and I have been a Licensed Childcare Provider since August 2011. I have one wonderful son of my own. I absolutely love my chosen profession; there is no greater feeling then knowing you helped a child grow and learn.

What I enjoy most is seeing the expression of a child who has just discovered something new and wonderful for the first time. I also enjoy seeing a child perform a new skill without assistance for the first time.

I have been caring for children the majority of my life in one fashion or another, from the young age of 12 to now, including caring for family members, neighbor’s children, and children in the community. I strive to improve my quality of care as a Professional Childcare Provider by staying informed on the new childcare laws and mandates and new learning methods and activities. In addition to my personal experience in childcare, I hold a Bachelor of Arts and Letters in English from San Diego State University.

Hi, my name is Bridgette Moss. My career has followed two different paths which joined up and gave me an enormous advantage as the owner of Healthy Toddlers’ Care. For over a decade, I worked in the marketing industry, creating strategic marketing plans that generated revenue for a diverse group of companies. In addition, I ran an online branding agency called E-​Marketing and Graphics. These essential tools for business success helped many companies thrive in a competitive market.

My business skills were a valuable asset when I founded Healthy Toddlers’ Care. My keen interest and involvement in my own children’s education led to the creation of our early learning development program. My marketing experience paved the way to becoming a successful family childcare home business. Now I seek to help other childcare providers benefit from my success!

It’s still common to find many family child care providers who don’t think of themselves as owners of a small business.

Ms. Moss runs a great child care. I interned here for 3 months and she truly cares for her students and clients. She keeps her interns, clients, and staff informed by sending home monthly schedules that have important information on them. She also has a monthly theme in the classroom, which she incorporates in her curriculum. HTC is also in a home environment which is comforting for the kids. Overall, it is a good affordable center

I interned at Healthy Toddlers Care for the past eight weeks. Each week I planned a fun activity that I did with the children that was either one on one or with the whole group. I enjoyed getting to plan, do the activity, and act as the teacher even if it was for a short while. The children were always very sweet and excited to see the interns every week, and when a intern didn’t show up they would ask where they were. Bridgette was always very polite when talking to the interns and welcoming to the parents/​guardians. Thank you Bridgette for welcoming me into Healthy Toddlers Care and allowing me to be part of your staff you have a great group of kids.

I really love how they incorporate different activities each day to teach the kids about various subjects, always keeping them engaged! My kids are always happy and share with me about their day at HTC! A great thing to note, if your child has specific needs Bridgette is more than willing to help work with you/​your child to make sure they are well taken care of and looked after.

I have been in the Education System for over 20 years, I have seen the good, bad, ugly and absolute best in daycare/​educational services. Healthy Toddlers Day Care is one of the absolute BEST!!! Ms. Bridgette and her staff take care and teach all of her children as if they were her own. The comfort, skills and training she provides nurtures and prepares children for their individual next step. Healthy Toddlers Care goes above and beyond what is expected and is preparing little minds for a very bright future.

I interned for Ms. Bridgette and the Healthy Toddler Care for the past few months. It was a pleasure to spend time with the toddlers and preschoolers. I learned a lot about how to teach the children. Ms. Bridgette implements lesson plans that encourage motor and cognitive skills that prepare the children for school. The kids practice their letters, colors, numbers, etc. on a daily basis. The children and families have a close bond with Ms. Bridgette. The center is very welcoming with many materials and lots of space. It was obvious that the children love to come to the childcare center everyday to spend time with their friends and Ms. Bridgette. I will really miss the children and have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with them.

I’ve been taking my daughter to healthy toddlers for over a year now. Bridgette has always done a great job with Chloe and I’m surprised with how much she’s learning. She works around my busy work schedule which is extremely helpful being that I’m a single dad. Overall I’m very satisfied with the care she provides.

Not often do you come across an establishment you absolutely love, especially a place you choose for your child. Recently I had the privilege of visiting Ms Moss, who is so enthusiastic, warm, and dedicated to her vision Healthy Toddlers. I am a Registered Nurse and work very closely with the placement of our patients upon discharge. One major factor when selecting an establishment to send your loved ones is their area of focus. The same goes for a daycare center. If you want your child to be challenged academically then an environment that is conducive to learning and early childhood development is what you’d look for. Healthy Toddlers has that and much more. I’m impressed by the inclusion of utilizing University interns, it helps bring the education component to the forefront. I wish Healthy Toddlers was around when my children were daycare age, I would’ve waited in line if I had to. The professionalism, cleanliness and detail oriented environment is second to none.

My daughter loves Healthy Toddlers Care! She’s been here for about six months now and she’s a happy kid every time we pick her up. Miss Bridgette and the rest of the teachers/​Intern are really nice and flexible. She’s definitely learned a lot from this amazing daycare. Also, My husband is in the military and we are lucky that we got approved of NACCRA and that this Childcare cater this program.
