bullshit super bowl raffle… The bartender says 10 people will be called for a $ 5000 raffle… one person is called he guesses wrong… it’s over. I call BS .If a bar owner say’s yes he’s giving a chance to patrons and its a 10 person pick… like the bartender said the night before when she was selling tickets and he’s giving it away don’t scam us regulars to think it’s a one shot deal. We all sat there and was like«this is it»? WTF scam

Without a doubt one of the worst. Over an hour to get served a sandwich and the place was half empty. Wish there was a zero star option.

little dive in the center of point loma which always seems to be popping with people. they have a large selection of beers, both on tap and by the can. although I can appreciate divey places, I was not impressed by the ripped chairs, funky smell, and tacky arcade room. not necessarily my style of place. food was okay but the 40 minute wait for 2 sandwiches was a bit annoying. we ordered a medium Rare burger and a seared ahi tuna club(both very pink in the middle) so the long wait was a bit puZzling. the burger was super good and so were the crispy Brussel sprouts. the ahi tuna club was cooked well but extremely over seasoned to the point where I couldn’t really taste much of anything but. the menu was quite small but seemed to have a wide variety.

Not 5 stars but 10 stars for Harbor Town pub! This place is great! I love the crafty ambiance and the food is amaze balls! Had the Ahi Poke Tostadas, yum! The Pulled Pork Nachos, yummer! And the Seared Tuna Noodle Salad, ummm yummiest! I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a crafty bar with not bar food but actually sit down good food! Best experience is with Tom Burnett. He is the best! He knows how to take care of his customers and ensures you the best experience to come back again! So stop by and check him out! Highly recommended food and bar! Get the Xocoveza, good stuff!

Great place for burgers and beers or a Bloody Mary and breakfast. Friendly staff. Delicious, lovingly prepared and presented food. Proper neighborhood pub. Bring the kids; bring the dog. Good for salad eaters, too. Live music sometimes. Too loud for me, sometimes, but not outrageously so. Excellent place to have in the neighborhood. Be sure to ring the bell by the door when you leave!

We LOVE Harbor Town. This place is a blast for Charger’s games or just to hang out with friends and family. About a month ago(I’ve been meaning to write this review for awhile) we had a mid-size group come in and HTP was BUSY however we received awesome(the best) service from Irene and the Manager Bobby(you’d the man!!). The drinks we’re delivered in a very timely manner, food piping hot and delicious. Because we are frequent patrons we usually sit at the bar and again you just can’t go wrong, Bree introduced herself to us right away, asked our name and actually remember them! The one thing I would like to recommend, maybe a «special»(food) on weekends… it’s just because we’ve eaten everything on the menu :) Thank YOU Harbor Town, every time we visit you equals a GREATTIME! I used to love this place. I was coming years ago, and I cannot tell you how many friends I brought here. I came so often that the staff knew me! I always ordered the wings. They were big and juicy, grilled, sticky, and the dipping sauce was hoisin based. They were so delicious I craved them! I was just there after a little hiatus. I ordered the wings and you could not imagine my disappointment. The wings were small and sickly looking, fried in oil that had not been changed, not sticky, overcooked, and the sauce was mayonaise and siracha. Needless to say I could not finish and I will not be returning. As a regular, I have seen HTP grow over the years, and I am happy for thier success. I would just like to say that it’s the cutting corners that will cause you to lose patrons who bring business and quality wait staff. Don’t skimp on quality! That’s what I liked about you in the first place. Good luck.

This place is very fun! The staff are very friendly and quick on service! Our group ordered the calamari and ahi soba noodle salad. The salad had absolutely 0 flavor. But the ahi was good. Would not recommend that. The calamari was decent. The breading tasted like something you’d get fried at the fair. Definitely not what San Diego is known for. The drinks are awesome! We got Moscow mules which we’re great! A little pricey. I’d recommend this place for fun and great service! Not so much for food with the couple dishes we got.

So, I’ve been to the Harbor Town Pub once or twice. I can sit here and pontificate, praising nearly every aspect of this place, you can scroll through the multitude of other reports spouting an adjacent message, but why… Just go and experience it for yourself! Oh yeah… Bri

We decided to eat here for lunch and they provided excellent service. This pub has a dive bar type feel, but with a clean and welcoming environment. There are some parking spots located at the back of the building… otherwise, street parking it is. The pub is very open and spacious. We were delightfully pleased with the food items we ordered. We started off with the Ahi Poke Tostada and then shared an order of their version of the Cali Burrito. The AHIPOKETOSTADA is a serving of wonton chips, layered with fresh Ahi poke, thinly shredded carrots, drizzled with wasabi crème, topped with cilantro and black sesame seeds, and garnished with slices of avocado and cucumbers. THECALIBURRITO is a tortilla filled with chopped tender grilled flank steak, garlic(yes, garlic!) french fries, guacamole, sour cream, cilantro, and shredded cheese. Not sure if it was the tortilla or the fries that gave it a slight crisp, but it was good. Everything was delicious! We’d recommend this place to others and we’ll definitely be back to try more of what they have to offer.

I just love this place: the service, the beers, even the food. My new favorite place. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is nice. In addition, the food and drink is awesome, too!(This bar would be perfect if and when the get Blackhouse Stout… hint hint hint– Tom!)

Such a great place to grab a drink with friends! The service is ok but as long as they keep the drinks coming it makes it better. My favorite things there are the brussel sprouts and the artichoke tacos! YUM! HH drinks are $ 3! It’s a little warm in there so be prepared — it’s an open bar with natural air flow most of the time.

A laid-back and cozy spot for food and beers at the end of Rosecrans! It’s a great if you’re looking for a chill atmosphere for a night out. They’ve also had good live music choices both times I’ve been here. Great plus is that the live music isn’t so loud that it drowns out your conversations — a huge problem that I run into too often at restaurant-style bars. The beer list is smaller than many pubs in town, but they encompass a wide range of styles so it’s not too hard to still find a brew that you like. The food is solid, though! The kitchen closes at midnight on Fridays so it’s good for grabbing a late bite. We got the calamari, which came with a sriracha honey glaze that gave it a great sweet and spicy heat. I ordered the basil chicken and substituted my fries for brussel sprouts. While I liked my sandwich(not too strong on the blue cheese!), the brussel sprouts stole the show for me. They’re a must-get if you like brussel sprouts. The staff is super friendly — I especially appreciated Bri, who went through the effort of learning the names of everyone in my party! I definitely plan on being back the next time I’m in Point Loma and craving a beer.

I love The Waterfront in Little Italy and Werewolf in Gaslamp and really thought it doesn’t get better than that for a divey but classy neighborhood watering hole with exceptionally warm and personal service and pretty tasty, real grub. Well, Harbor Town Pub in Point Loma — a bar from the same restaurant group as the other two — may just be the best! On a recent Friday night, there was a great vibe with a full bar/restaurant and live music by a talented dude with a guitar and mike on a tiny stage in the corner. My dining companion and I enjoyed food and craft beer at a table, and the entire place was packed. I loved the personal, relaxed service from our server. I always get that kind of A+ service at the other two establishments as well which really makes all three of these bars stand out over any other bar you may visit in San Diego. We enjoyed Hell and High Water’s Watermelon Wheat beer which was so light and refreshing! Having already eaten dinner I snacked on a side of $ 5 brussel sprouts, and wow the dish was massive and delicious. Don’t park in front as that’s reserved for the liquor store next door and they’ll tow your car. I will be back Harbor Town… and won’t forget the brussels next time!

Wings and cheap beers… Pretty divey feel. Came for some beers and appetizers. Supposedly their wings are the best around town. It had good pieces of chicken wings and the sauce was spot on. Not too salty and not plain. You can taste the grillness on it. Grilled is always better than fried. I got the Hefeweizen and it came in a bigger glass than normal– the Paulaner. Coors was about $ 4 bux. Lots of regulars. They were nice. More of an older crowd, or at least when we went. Would come back for some more apps.

This breakfast was really good and the pricing is reasonable. Located in Point Loma right next to the mini farmers market. Not a lot of parking but it’s enough for their regulars. Very homey place. Bring your own coffee mug and they will add it to their collection. Service was great. Sweet girls. We sat on the patio and the server offered to turn on heat lamps for us. I had the steak and egg scramble. It was strips of juicy steak and scrambled eggs over a bed of potatoes. Please see picture for details. It was delicious!

The grilled ginger-soy chicken wings are the best chicken wings in San Diego. I used to think Dirty Birds had em, but not anymore! Wing for wing, HTP kicks ass! Although the chicken wings are what steal my heart, I still enjoy their grand selection of craft beer. Sure it’s quite the trek making your way deep into the heart of Point Loma, but trust me, you’ll be thanking me after you eat a plate of these wings and wash it down with an ice cold Sculpin. Damn good pub! They’ve also got decent burgers, tacos, and sammies. I would recommend straying away from the burgers and getting either the SD Cheesesteak, Ahi Poke Tostada, or any of the tacos. My buddy’s favorite sammie is the Phở-King Amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back here a few times a month. You should too. So check it out!

Don’t know that I’m going to tell you anything new than what is raved about in previous reviews here. That Ahi Poke Tostada keeps popping up and for good reason. It is SO good. My only complaint is that when I first ordered it, it had a lot more wasabi mayo drizzled on it and the last few times there was hardly any. Server said today, just ask for more on the side. Prefer it drizzled and will just ask for that. Damn… just had it a few hours ago and my mouth is asking for more por favor! And what is that spicy oil on the bottom and drizzled throughout? Doesn’t say so on the menu, but again… drool. I talk about that dish and crave it when I’m not there. That’s when you know, you gonna keep returning to a place, right? Tried the ginger-soy wings today. So very yummy too. Served with a «dojo» sauce? Tasted like that dipping sauce served with the onion blossom in several places. Went very well with the wings. It’s the first time I’ve had anything but the Ahi. I’m usually by myself and never ordered more than one dish, but now that I have an awesome boyfriend, there is more variety/spice in my life. Ahem… TMI? Great service. You are greeted by several people when you step in and you feel welcomed.
