I feel bad writing a one star not having worked with the doctor, but I just called in to look into getting my first Gyno on a referral from a local doctor. I think that I may have endometriosis and looking to schedule and appointment. The long wait on the phone was bearable, but the representative that picked up was not friendly. She interrupted me to ask what type of insurance I had and I said a Gold level PPO with Blue Shield. Very rude she responded, «Well I’m not really sure what that is, but what doctor do you want to see?» What if I hadn’t known and aren’t you supposed to know of just take note and do your job forwarding me to the doctor? She then said, «And this doctor is very busy so I’m not sure if you might want me to check into another???» — Why would a receptionist say that? I’m going to be taking my health elsewhere. Please look into your staff if you want to save business. Someone should be in this position that likes their job and works for the doctors.

Dr. Greenberg is an amazing doctor! I do agree that SOME of the staff seems annoyed way too often, but these negative reviews over staff should be specified to IGO medical group and not her. Dr. Greenberg was my OBGYN for all 3 of my kids, and despite having to deal with the morose staff I kept going back to her, and would go back to her in a heartbeat if I had a fourth child. It has been my experience that either you have a great doctor and grouchy staff, or great staff and a pompous doctor. Go with the great Doctor. ;)

Called the office to schedule an appointment and I agree with other reviews. The receptionist is very unfriendly, cuts you off, doesn’t listen, seems to not care at all. :(

I have yet to see the Doctor yet, but I am almost dreading the experience because their office staff is the most rude, misinformed group of individuals.
I have an upcoming appointment and I will likely update my review at that time about the drs. However, at this time, I was told I could not book an appointment and could not be seen until they received a letter from my Insurance company, event though it is already in the mail and I will have it in time for an appointment. Also, they are not willing to call the insurance company and ask for such information…
First review was 1 star because their office staff was to teeth-​pulling levels. But the dr’s in this office are amazing. the back office staff loves everyone and greets moms and babies like they have known them for a million years.

So disappointed I couldn’t book with Dr. Greenberg. All her great reviews really pushed me into booking my appointment. Horrible receptionist that I was trying to book my appointment with. She kept putting me on hold, not that it was a problem but every time she got back on the phone seemed like she had more attitude than the last time. Mocked me because I didn’t know certain answers to her questions. That’s so unfortunate that clinic had to lose business that way :(

Wish we were the first to write a review for Dr. Greenberg — does not hurt to bolster a well known fact. I dont think Dr. Greenberg needs a reference as she is well known.
A good review/​referral is the best complement. I will have to ask my wife to really write this review. But she does not have time. Rather than going into details… Five couples in our circle have made sure they wait to get an appointment with her (first child for all of us). All of us are referring her to other friends of ours. When it our turn at Scrips Memorial (that is the only place they do deliveries from this group), Dr. Greenberg was not on call :(. But, all doctors from IGO are good and the other doctor (Dr.Heather Guanarson) who attended my wife was also exteremely nice all through 27hours of my wife’s delivery

When I was in search of an ob/​gyn… I had no idea where to start. Fortunately, my chiropractor at the time referred me to this group and more specifically Dr. Greenberg. Getting pregnant took longer than originally expected, so knowing that I had a very knowledgeable doctor put me at ease. She is always very thorough and made sure we covered all of our bases. She was always honest about my options.
Anyhow, I ultimately got pregnant and so I continued with my appts at this group. I primarily met with Dr. Greenberg through the entire pregnancy. Dr. Greenberg is so nice and pleasant deal with. I also found out that she was on the list of «Top Doctors in San Diego» for I believe 2007 and 2008. What I love about this group is that they are all well-​qualified women! The facility is also nice and clean.
It ended up being a different doctor on-​call the day that I delivered my baby, but Dr. Greenberg came in to visit me the next day, and it was nice that she came to check in on me. I very much look forward to seeing her again when its time for #2.
