Some beautiful pieces in there, but unfortunately the sales associate was really condescending when she was helping me. That is, after I spent 10 minutes as the only customer in the store after she finished taking a call about her on the side real estate business.

After reviewing the website this looked like a place I would really be into. Looked like it had a good vibe. I was pretty disappointed after arriving. The furniture seemed to be constructed from cheaper materials and the store seemed to be organized in some random state of clutter. The images on Unilocal and their website are not representative of the store itself.

Could not be happier with my purchases here. I bought a bedroom set and mattress from Paul back when they were one stop furniture in 2011. Everything is still holding up perfectly. I also recently purchased some patio furniture for my backyard. Again Paul, the owner, personally showed me their selection. Lots of cool stuff to choose from, almost too much, but found the perfect pieces. Timing was as promised, quality great, delivery perfect, and the price was very fair. You can go to Walmart and get cheap chairs and a table or spend a little more and get something your friends will comment on and will last a long time.

We bought a large, beautiful sectional couch at Greathouse. Unfortunately, there was a problem originated by a manufacturer with our fabric. It started to literally disintegrate between cushions, was pulling up out of the weave and was starting to pull and create unsightly gaps around the seams. All this was happening with only adults in the house! Greathouse backed up their work and replaced the fabric on our couch at no cost to us. They picked up the couch, redid the upholstery and delivered the couch. We are so grateful that they are a quality furniture vendor that stands by their promise to the public to deliver high quality, well manufactured furniture. While this was a stressful experience, they helped to rectify it beautifully! Thank you!

My husband and I had an ahhhhmazing experience at Greathouse, specifically due to David’s assistance! He was an excellent salesman and helped us so much with the design of our living room. He helped us get the best price for this particular couch and no one in San Diego was able to beat it! We bough a beautiful couch and cannot wait to receive it. We will absolutely be back to see David at Greathouse!

We looked around for patio furniture for a few weeks and in the end decided to purchase a sectional set and fire pit from Greathouse with Sunbrella fabric we picked out. Greathouse set our expectations for the long 6 – 8 week custom Sunbrella fabric during peak early summer season, and it delivered in about 5 weeks. They could do nearly immediate delivery with the stock cushions, but it was worth the wait for the other fabric we wanted.
When it came to delivery, there was some confusion… the warehouse people made a mistake on left versus right arm on the sectional. This is why they get 5 stars. Mike, one of the owners, was made aware of the issue and personally came by to deliver the correct piece a few hours later. Mike then helped me order a few yards of the same Sunbrella fabric for me to cover my older cushions on other patio furniture.
Way to go Greathouse! Great experience overall, high quality products, pleasant friendly interactions with everyone. Even the delivery guys were good spirited, unlike some other furniture delivery guys (ehem, Jeromes).

Had such a great experience at greathouse. We are so excited for our new beautiful couch to complete our home. Everyone there was fantastic to work with and spent extra time making sure we got the perfect couch. The same couch was for sale at other places but Greathouse helped us customize it exactly and gave us the best price. So much other gorgeous furniture there, we will be back.

Where do I start, So it pains me to have to write this but, I cannot stand horrible customer service especially when you are spending more than 2K on one item.
I think the store has incredible merchandise, however, Thomas the sales individual who I had the misfortune to work with, was rude, incompetent and greatly lacks any kind of follow through.
I was so excited about my purchase and the fact that I could customize it. When I noticed that my receipt did not specify my special change I asked and at first I was told that I had to talk to Thomas. Thankfully he had just arrived. He stated that he did not mention the specific change and called right then and there. After getting off the phone he rudely stated «i hope we caught it in time». When I asked what will need to be done should it not have been… he stated «we are not having this conversation.» Mortified, I told him I wanted a backup plan as if it was not going to be done right. He then tried to diminish his responsibility and stated we «are not having this conversation right now» «we do not need a backup plan». This is no way to treat a first time customer.
To top It off I asked when I can expect it to be delivered and I was told two to three weeks. I asked there is no date or call a head, how does this work? After about ten days of the date I ordered my sofa, I sent an email asking again when I could expect it to be delivered and no reply. Hum will it just show up on my door ??? I cannot believe this is how they treat their customers — worse a first time customer. EXTREAMLY DISAPPOINTED and EXTEREMLY ANXIOUS FOR THE NIGHTMARE that may be delivered to my door…

David Horst was a great help in our decision for outdoor furniture, the process was a breeze we became owners of the Del Mar set within the hour.

I found this business when it was called One Stop Furniture Shop. The owners were awesome, really going out of their way to make sure we were buying outdoor furniture that we would be happy with for a long time. Recently when the integrity of a couple of our bar chairs started to deteriorate, I called the owner of Greathouse to see what I could do to get the seats replaced. Once again, they went above and beyond expectations by arranging for me to receive 2 replacement seats at no cost (Shipped from the manufacturer as they no longer carried these chairs). I love these guys! I definitely wouldn’t go anywhere else for furniture!

This furniture store is San Diego’s best kept secret! They have the most beautiful line called Teodora Imports. I’ve been looking for a china cabinet since we bought our house, I wanted a special one. An employee named Nancy helped me to find the perfect cabinet. She was very helpful and honest about the piece. Daphne was very kind and helpful also. My cabinet is beautiful and I’ll treasure it! I liked this store and the selection here so much that I look forward to furnishing other rooms in our house. Go check it out!

I can’t say enough about this place. Over the last 5+ years, I have bought a couch, sectional, buffet cabinet, king bed, king mattress and an outdoor furniture set here. The prices are reasonable, the selection is great, and the customer service is great.
I did get a leather couch years ago when it was called One Stop Furniture Warehouse that started flaking after maybe 4 years. It was very inexpensive for what it was, so I should have known it wouldn’t last a long time.
David is the designer we’ve worked with the last few times we’ve been in. I can’t say enough about this man. He listened to what we needed, what our price range was, and helped us find the perfect custom sectional. And when I got home and realized we had ordered it too big, he was patient with all of my back and forth emailing to get it right.
Went back the other day to buy the buffet cabinet I’d been eyeing and he did not disappoint again. So personable that my 7-​year old daughter wanted to go back to just hang out (probably helped that he gave her some of his Thin Mints).
I’ve sent a few people here and everyone has come back happy.

Formerly One Stop Furniture … We have purchased furniture from this store One Stop now called GreatHouse once before but felt that even though our first experience was a bit chaotic they deserved a second chance. Our families experience with staff was UNPROFESSIONAL, scattered and sales quota driven. I was shocked when the designer we worked with Katie told us they changed their name so more Interior designers would buy from them as the name One Stop sounded to cheap! I’d like to share our latest experience. We bought a custom sectional for our daughters condo and after only 2.5 months this sectional started showing excessive wear and break down of cushions. I called to ask what I could do to get it replaced this is when the nightmare began. I was first told we as the customer of a defective piece of furniture had to pay a $ 200 pickup fee for our sectional. I then got a call from someone else who said okay we will reduce it to $ 150.00. I then said I will not be paying anything its two months old. I was told that the manufacturer they use will not replace defective furniture they will just re-​stuff it or fix it but not replace it. I spoke to the owner Paul and he said «what do you expect for $ 1500.00»? I asked if they had a loaner for us so that we would not be without a couch he said no we don’t provide loaners. I explained why it was important for our family to have something to sit on. I had a pregnant niece living with us and a disabled adult. Despite the fact they knew we did not want to be without something to sit on they told us that they would pick it up on a Thursday while never telling me it was going to sit in their warehouse until Tuesday for pickup and delivery to LA. So we would be without a couch unnecessarily for 6 days. I expressed my disappointment. Paul the owner then said we are not going to fix your couch and sent us a check in the mail.
End result I bought from Skyler’s Home & Patio. They went above and beyond to help our family. Not to mention they OFFERED to loan us a beautiful sectional for our family to sit on while our new one was being ordered. FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE. They even called to check in with our project to see if we needed anything. Thank you for helping our family not to be without a seat for the holidays!

I wanted to be fair and provide an update to my original review. Despite the challenges I faced early on when visiting the store I want to give the owner, Paul, credit for going above and beyond to help remediate our issues over the last few months. Paul helped to get us new nightstands shipped and delivered from the manufacturer and is still helping us in replacing a damaged drawer on our dresser. Paul could’ve written us off as a bad experience and walked away but he has truly been working his hardest to make it right and we’ve truly appreciated all his efforts. I’ve been assured that he’s working with his staff to remediate the issues we ran into and with small businesses, I can understand that these things do sometimes happen. It’s truly how the managers/​owners respond to such situations that are the most meaningful to me.
I would give Greathouse another shot based on all of Paul’s efforts to make things right and would recommend them knowing that if something were to go wrong, they stand behind their merchandise and will be there to make it right. I will also point out how many unique and beautiful pieces Greathouse carries. Four Hands, Orient Express, Stanley Furniture and much much more. It felt like furniture heaven! I don’t think there was a piece I didn’t love at Greathouse. Trust me, I’m extremely picky and visited over a dozen furniture stores in my search and Greathouse had the best selection by far of tasteful pieces in one place.

Bought a custom couch there after at least a year of looking around. David, the salesman/​interior designer was very helpful in the store, which was what we really needed and helped clinch the sale. Unfortunately, the fabric was back-​ordered, so the couch took about 3.5 months to arrive, but we were in no real hurry. This was not really the store’s fault and they were accommodating when it came to the delivery fee. Delivery went smoothly and the couch was in good order. Greathouse is a bit off the beaten ‘Miramar Road’ track, so had it not been for an ad we saw, we probably wouldn’t have found them. They are not super cheap, but they have tons of fabric options available and the quality of what they offer seems good.

Having purchased from Greathouse (One Stop Furniture) before — I am here to finally give them a rating. I’ve shopped for myself and for my family.
With our most recent experience, we had to work with the Greathouse staff to help us sort out a situation where we jumped the gun (putting patio furniture before the existence of an actual patio!). Luckily, it all worked out. The owners attitude and customer service really makes me want to continue to work with Greathouse. :)
Paul, the owner, is a stand-​up guy. If you have an issue, I suggest taking it straight up to him. With my first purchase — I had a problem with a very very wobbly leg on our bed brand new bed. The warehouse made me feel a bit silly for not wanting a leg that wobbled. But I was persistent — worked with the delivery men — and we figured out the leg was completely stripped. This happened because the frame was put together just slightly crooked causing the leg to never tighten and just spin. But because I was persistent and the guys worked with me — we now love our bed. And it doesn’t wiggle — which is exactly how a bed should be.

Definitely go to Greathouse. Be ready to love lots of items. You want to be sure what will work for you before you commit (and the sales pitches can really get ya!). I prefer this place before the Ashley Furnitures of the world any day.

Updating my original review. Although it took longer than expected to receive our outdoor furniture, and we had a lot of challenges getting information out of customer service once the owner, Paul, stepped in we received our furniture within hours and it is absolutely beautiful! We are SO pleased with the quality which is great because we plan on putting some serious miles on our new outdoor living room. Also, the delivery guys were awesome! Super friendly and fast and made sure everything was set up perfectly. I want to give Great House props for turning a not so great experience around.

First let me say this was one of the most pleasant furniture shopping experiences I’ve had. Greathouse has a nice selection of sectionals on the showroom floor. Daphne Dorell provided wonderful service from the start. She didn’t hover over me, just let me look around. Once I decided on the style, her design skills were instrumental in guiding me through the large fabric selection. Daphne was knowledgeable about the fabric types and categories. I that I could take home fabric swatches to see if the color matched existing décor.
I am very pleased with the quality of the sectional. The prices are very reasonable. Greathouse has many unique and stylish pieces. It will definitely be my first stop on my next furniture purchase. I recommend you check it out!

After searching for 5 months for the perfect couch, I went into Greathouse and was able to get the help I needed to find exactly what I was looking for. Melissa is an excellent asset to the Greathouse team. I also love the name change (previously One Stop Furniture) — because my house looks greater with my new couch.
I can’t wait for my next experience at Greathouse.
