This is definitely the spot I like going to when I am in a lunch rush. You can phone in your order and just go up to the pick up line. Your food is literally ready in 5 min. I work nearby so by the time I hang up, I just walk right over. I am not a fan of pastrami but my bosses swore that it was their best sandwhich. I decided to order it and it was soooo good! They use thick slices of pastrami and they serve it with pepperoncinis, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions(i order without the onions), and some type of vinegarette. The bread they serve it with is always perfectly toasted. This is their Tuesday special sandwich. They have a few pasta salads that you can order a la carte as well. My two other favorite things I like to order is their caesar salad with turkey and their breakfast salmon lox bagel sandwich. Their salmon taste fresh and doesn’t taste salty or smell fishy either.

Given what they serve, you can’t get much better. There’s a wide selection of subs and I’ve tried almost all of them. They’re awesome and all, but let’s face it – they’re subs! It’s kind of hard to screw up a sub. It’s the other stuff they do that makes them 4-star-worthy. Sub toppings add to the flavor, but the main thing is the sides! So many awesome sides! My favorites are the greek salad and fruit… but the beans, tuna w/noodles, and many others are also crazy tasty. Best part? Only $ 9! For lunch! In San Diego! Woohoo!

This place is right down the street from my work so it makes it convenient. Staff is friendly and is always aware of making sure you don’t wait too long! I usually go in the mornings to get a breakfast bagel which are awesome. Lunch good is decent meat quality could be better but it’s reasonable for the price! I would give them 4 stars but the inconvenience of the minimum $ 5 debit is an interesting way to do business for a sandwich shop – switch your credit provider if your fees are too high.

I was staying at a hotel just a block away and was fortunate to stumble on Grab & Go and try them out. I had the California Steak sandwich and it was delicious, as was their brewed tropical iced tea. The real four stars goes to the service. The employees are friendly, patient and just plain fun to talk with. I wish there was a grab and go near me in Los Angeles.

Although their food was okay hence the 2 stars. I really can’t get over how pricey they are. Ended up paying over $ 10 for a wrap and a drink. Which I guess is understandable due to their location and hours. Crap hours and crap location.

I’ve been going to Mimmos for years, but just tried this location since moving in across the street. I was home sick and wasn’t hungry until late in the day. When I got to Grab and Go(around 2:50), they were closed. I was about to go somewhere else, but one of the employees opened the door and said they’d be happy to make my sandwich even though they were closed. They were suuuuper nice and their sandwiches are delicious! Grilled feta sub might just be my favorite sandwich ever!

This is one of my go to lunch spots. They are quick and I’m usually in a hurry at lunch. The pastrami is really good as is the chicken sub. The staff is very friendly, possibly one of the nicest of all the downtown lunch spots. When the line for mediocre Starbucks coffee is out the door, get outside your comfort zone, and walk the ten feet to Grab n Go; they brew a much better cup of coffee. Note: Try the lentil soup with avocado, jalapenos, and cotija cheese.

This location is great for me. Right next to Starbucks and close to where I work, but if you are driving, I mean– good luck finding parking! I’ve been here a dozen times bc of how easy it is for me to walk to it. Just like all the other locations, it caters to mostly the lunch & possibly morning crowd of hungry and thirsty workers. I have found their sandwiches to be boring and bland. Their salads are weird bc the only ones that have meat in them are made with the same deli meat in their sandwiches. They just put it on top of lettuce. Yea they did it out of convenience for sure, bc it can’t be bc of taste. Yes I said it. They have a big selection of bottled drinks, sandwiches, and salads. But nothing really tastes that good… but it’s at a good location, is pretty big, and perfect for a quick bite if you just want to eat for sustenance purposes. Service is always good.

Want a coffee shop where everyone knows your name? Well, here it is. Patty, the owner(can’t remember his name), and the rest of the staff are always super friendly, efficient, and fast. I come here every day for my morning coffee and even before I get to the counter Patty or one of the other cashiers are already asking me if I want an iced coffee today. I usually get the iced coffee because I got bored of the regular hot coffee. For breakfast, I’ll usually switch it up between the fruit salad with cottage cheese, the parfait, the chorizo/egg/cheese/avocado breakfast sandwich, or the bacon/tomato/cream cheese sandwich. Tip: order it on a croissant so that you won’t feel like a total blimp after breakfast. They also have breakfast burritos that you can order on either wheat or flour tortilla. They typically come with egg, cheese, tomato, bacon, and ham. Just ask what they can make. Basically if you want it, they’ll make it. I don’t really eat here for lunch but for $ 2.50 you can get a nice side pasta to munch on. There sandwiches are ok but I’m not really big on subs so I can’t really review them since I am already biased but I will say that they have a nice variety of sandwiches and salads. They have indoor seating with a few tables outside which is nice, especially since I am a people watcher. They are only open Monday-Friday and until about 2:30pm. Wish they were open on Saturdays to get me out of zombie mode when I have to come into work.

I have tried this Grab & Go location twice. The first time I had a Spicy Turkey Avocado Wrap on spinach tortilla. the 2nd time I had an Antipasto Salad. I got extremely ill with stomach issues both times. The wraps and salads are large and taste good, but if food gets me sick twice, I’ll stay away. Chef Miguel’s Deli has the same size wraps for $ 5(much cheaper) and the ingredients are ALWAYS fresh. I have never had any stomach issues at Chef Miguel’s. I’m scared to even try a sandwich here after my first 2 experiences.

Try the chorizo breakfast sandwich in a croissant. They don’t have them on display but they are in the kitchen. The vanilla chai tea latte with a single shot of expresso is very delicious! I’m a regular here and have never been disappointed. Friendly staff as well.

Great for a quick breakfast. We had the bagel breakfast sandwich with egg(they will also do egg whites), bacon, and cheese. Yogurt parfait was amazing with freshly diced fruit and generous granola. Will be back again!

Decent spot in the middle of a busy city. I ordered a tuna salad and it was pretty tasty. It was 1230 and it was not some crazy ass line. So, if you’re the area stop by ad get some grub.

Quick, easy, quality SUBs that are WAY better than the competition. Spend the extra $ 1 it will cost you to grab your sandwich here.

This place is super convenient to my work, so I’ve come a couple of times in the past few weeks. I tried one of their wraps and it was really big and pretty good. The salads are decent as well. Basically, for a quick, easy, and filling salad this is a good option. I’ve always found there to be really friendly people working there as well!

Several of us in our office frequent this Grab & Go because the sandwiches are really good and the prices are pretty decent. I recently got their meat sauced penne lunch special and it was really yummy. It was enough to feed me the next day too. Bonus! The Italian cold cut sandwich is a favorite of mine(I believe it’s #1 on the menu board) because it’s so good and only $ 5 bucks! A great deal.

Here’s a «read and go» review. + Their Meatball sub is just how I’ve always imagined meatball subs should taste like. It’s all in the marinara sauce; the mozzarella stretches when you take a bite and then pull away; the meatballs are seasoned and have never been over-cooked; and the bread is chewy goodness. AND, I love that I don’t have to pig out to have it – the 6-inch version is perfect for enjoying the taste without too much guilt. + When I’m not craving the meatball sub, I’ll get the half order of the«Number 14,» their Black Forest ham sandwich. I get it because of the dijonnaise and, again, the chewy bread. Is dijonnaise yuppie? If so, GUILTY. + Mexican hot chocolate! I don’t drink coffee, so if I want to tag along with my work friends as they traipse into Starbucks for either their morning or afternoon fix, I’ll go here or to Old Gallery for a small Mexican hot chocolate. Why? Because they know how to make it well. North Park’s Mission and Clair de Lune’s list Mexican hot chocolate on their menus, but their versions are milked out and too sweet. Give me a Mexican hot chocolate from here, Old Gallery, Heavenly Sent, or Crest Café any time.

I mainly hit this Grab & Go in the AM. They’re right next to Starbux and offer a full compliment of coffee/espresso drinks without the wait. Personable service — I order the same items every morning, so they set them aside for me. The subs are good quality — Tuna is great, Spicy Italian is highly recommended, and if you’re in a hurry they have a stack of generic 12″ subs that are ready to grab & go!

This Grab & Go is in my building, which makes it convenient, although never an uplifting experience. Their sandwiches come standard on a sub roll with a ton of pepperoncinis, onions, lettuce and oil and vinegar… never mayo and never served with a smile(exceptions made if you are a businessman in a suit holding a wad of hundreds, in which case the cashier girls pour on the charm and are sickenly sweet). I often have to look at the cash register readout to see what my total is, because they apparently don’t have time to tell me how much I owe them and I always feel rushed when I am paying, even if there is no one in line behind me. The saving grace of this place, as is mentioned in one of the reviews below, is the amazing creation that is their grilled cheese feta sandwich. With melted provolone AND feta, this sandwich fulfills my cheesy cravings every time I venture in to G&G. Okay, so I’m a sucker for cheese, but still, the employees could be a lot more friendly and at least pretend to appreciate my business.
