Giant Photo provided amazing service in such a time crunch! I was trying to enlarge a photo as a Christmas gift that was 5′ wide by 3.5′ tall, 4 days before Christmas. I emailed the file to Michael and within less than 24 hours my mixture was ready to pick up! The image was not pixelated and was more beautiful than I could ever imagine. I was so impressed with their service and quality and would recommend them 100 times over!

This the best lab in San Diego for LARGE prints. Color accurate great customer service fine art papers. Great turnaround time.

Back in the late 60’s my sister did an oil painting that has become a well loved piece of family history. I wanted it reproduced for other family members and was told because of the type of canvas used it could not be photocopied (scanned) and would need to be photographed. The photographer could not produce a satisfactory likeness, so at a friends suggestion, I went to Giant Photo and spoke with Michael Oletta. He assured me the painting could be scanned and said it would take about 2 days. I was called the very next day and went in to view the result. Wow! The difference between the photograph reproduction and Michael’s work was amazing. He advised me on the best paper to use and what type of mounting was available and I ordered 2 prints and a laminated print ready to hang. The paper choice was perfect for the printing. My family, especially my artist sister, was so pleased with the result that I had to order two more prints; both done in 2 days.
I observed other employees interaction with customers and everyone was very professional and knowledgeable while still being friendly and outgoing. I highly recommend Giant Photo Service.

Props to these guys. I initially went to Canvas World to print a pic on canvas and returned it, quality was weak with the photo I had. Found Giant on Unilocal and trusted. Super stoked with the quality of prints (I ended up getting 1 more after seeing the quality). The mounting and finish to choose from was fantastic. Again, really stoked on the quality, service was awesome and fast turn around. HIghly recommend this place for mounting prints.

Michael at Giant Photo Rescued us from ghastly photo hell. And at a better price than Staples. I had an enlargement done at Staples and they made the people look sunburned! Our teenager Sal was disappointed but we thought the photo could not be improved.
And if it was awful at 8×10 it would be even worse at 16×20!
Surprise! Michael corrected the «off» color and made the skin tones look natural. He spent a lot of time at the machine making sure it was perfect. The price — even better than Staples! We didn’t even pay more for the fix-​up. Even got discount on a couple extra 8×10s. We’ll be back for sure. Our friends actually saw giant photo in Sal’s room and raved about it. And Sal is sure a very happy teen now.

Where to start!!! First off the place is a dirt hole, not clean and just ran down. Onto the management, the owner is very rude and unprofessional. I was promised my work be completed in one day. Two weeks later Its completed after MULTIPLE excuses. All the services are over priced and work quality was POOR!!! Unhappy, stay away!!! Not mention my prints had scratches and the paper quality was junk!!! Go to Digital 1!!!

Based on the reviews already posted, I went down to see Adrian and his team at Giant Photo. I found the reviews to be accurate — fast, friendly, priced right, on a photo project for a family member. Although I don’ t have the finished product yet, I am looking forward to it… so far, so good!

As a professional photographer, print quality is critical to me and I haven’t found better. My clients often buy large and Giant Photo Service does an excellent job every time. I appreciate the personalized attention I receive there as well as the philosophy of sharing know-​how and the consultative sales approach they employ. Everyone has a positive attitude and is very helpful. It’s a pleasure to do business there.

I had a panorama photo that needed to be enlarged and printed. Several of my «photography» classmates recommended GIANT PHOTO. I called, spoke with Adrian, did most of the consultations over the phone, and came to a mutual consensus on the printing and the costs. When I arrived to pick-​up the print, Adrian walked me through the entire process; what a treat. Thanks to Adrian and Michael for their great work. GIANT PHOTO is now on my list of places to recommend.

My experience was so stellar it’s hard to know where to begin. I was looking for a specialist to restore, enhance and enlarge a one-​of-​a-​kind family photo and looked these guys up online. I had previously gone to Aaron Bros. to get a quote and was surprised to find that they wanted to charge me over $ 60 to send the photo out to a lab to have the work done and would take a week, minimum.
I checked Unilocal looking for other options and figured I would try somewhere close to my work where the work on the photo could be done on site (since I had 0 trust in the postal service to deliver the photo let alone undamaged). Adrian gave me an estimate that was just over $ 40, told me the work would be done on-​site and he would have the photo done in just over 24 hours in addition to taking the time to explain my options.
I picked up my photo the next day and was incredibly happy with the work they did. The restoration job was above and beyond what I had hoped for and I was extremely pleased with the quality and cost. I won’t be taking my restoration or custom jobs anywhere else. These guys are awesome!

I walked in and Adrian introduced himself. Off to a good start, we headed to his office, he loaded my pictures on his computer on the spot, and he FREELY offered lots of advice, which I absolutely appreciate. He walked me around and showed me the options, gave me photo cropping and adjustment advice, and was overall very personable, friendly, and generous with information.
I felt like I came in and had a conversation, not a transaction. Photos are personal, so, too, should be your photo services. These guys seem to get that.

Been here few times for printing; they restore old photographs, specializing in GIANT photos, laminate and mounting, and other printing stuff you may need.
I took in my digital photos, so we scanned through them and picked which pictures to be printed. I was given several options to consider. I can only enlarge the photos to 24×36, so it won’t stretch out and still have the image intact when printed.
So, okay then, please print it in sepia — to give more distinctive appearance to the bricks/​cobblestones rather than black and white, and they agreed.
Photos were printed in 4 days, they did an excellent job and the price was reasonable.
