History

Established in 2006.

Geeky Clean PC started serving all areas of San Diego County in 2006. Specifically, Pacific Beach was chosen as the area to start the business due to the beach community, surfing, and positive atmosphere. This atmosphere was contagious and has transformed Geeky Clean PC into a very positive and thriving business.

The office takes mandatory fun days to go surfing and snowboarding so that the employees are having fun as well as working. This mandatory fun has proved its worth because our customer service is really incredible. Geeky Clean PC is a very professional, technically skilled, fun business with a mixed culture to keep everyone happy.

I use to take my computer problems to Staples because of its convenient location. Its between my home and my job. However, I’ve always felt like they weren’t honest with me and would overcharge me on things my computer didn’t need. But looking for a good computer repair place is like looking for a good mechanic for your car. I don’t want to be overcharged on car repairs or computer repairs.
I was looking for someone who works on Chromebooks. I found Geeky Clean PC just by doing a google search. I didn’t see any reviews. I just took a chance and drove the 25 miles. I met Scott! Scott was a very nice and knowledgeable guy. He knew about Chromebooks! He took the time to research the problem. I thought is was a hardware problem but it was simply a charger problem. He could have been dishonest and charged me for something that wasn’t broken, but he didn’t. Because he didn’t have to repair anything, he didn’t charge me – not even for his time of diagnosing it!
My experience with Geeky Clean PC was great. Scott was nice, knowledgeable, efficient and HONEST!!!

I was frustrated that my laptop had a hardware problem and started running very slow. Initially I was going to ship it back to the manufacturer and have them to fix it for me. However, Scott at Geeky clean PC is so professional and knowledgeable that I no longer needed to do that! Not only is he very good with computers, but he also keeps the customer informed with the status updates all the time. I am very happy to have my computer fixed by him and definitely will recommend this place to my other friends (already grabbed several business cards to spread around). Thank you very much!

Simply awesome! I’m a computer dummy and brought in my Mac laptop that was not working properly. Turns out I was just doing some things incorrectly. They got it all worked out, showed me what I had been doing wrong and didn’t even charge me! So cool!

The BEST computer Repair. We use them for our small office at Pacific Tower. Scott has been a godsend in cleaning the hard drive, installing programs and anti virus progs and also teaching our staff how to access their computer files easily!

Scott fixed it very quickly when the new screen came in and even added Skype for me which another company said they could not do on my acer chromebook!

It’s easy to see why Scott gets 5 star ratings. I brought in a pretty high-​end machine server that would not boot. Scott drove out to get the necessary parts — a liquid cooling system — and had it fixed very quickly. He did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it and for the price he estimated. It is hard to ask for more than that.
Although I could have diagnosed and fixed the problem myself, I would much rather do what I do best and let Scott do what he does best. Much cheaper and easier in the long run.

I use no one else any more! They are the best! Scott is my angel. He promptly comes when I’m in trouble, fixes the computer no matter what the problem is, and charges me a reasonable (read:cheap!) price. They are the absolute best!!!

I rarely write reviews, but WOW! Scott was a miracle. I replaced all of my equipment in my office this past month and had some sort of malware on my new desktop right away. Called Geeky Clean this morning and Scott came to my office SAME DAY, fixed my computer, and helped me setup my scanner/​printer and the additional programs that had previously been affected by the malware. Everything is working great and I am so relieved that I can finally get back to work! My only regret is that I didn’t call them sooner! They are affordable, friendly, very knowledgeable and overall I am just so pleased! I will definitely be calling them for future help with any and all of my computer needs!

Scott was awesome and when I came in right when they were closing on a Saturday, he still offered to do the job that I needed on my computer (getting my LCD replaced). He did it within 40 minutes and I was able to pick it immediately. From the other repair shops I’ve looked at, their labor is the cheapest (70/​hr) and highest quality! No uncertainties or sketchy business. Will definitely recommend this to all my local friends

Scott was the one who helped me. Informed me about promotions and discounts. Answered my questions. Talked about the state of my computer. He improved my computer so it was back to functioning condition-​older computer. He was willing to wait for me to arrive past business hours-​call head to do this-​because I took the bus. My computer was crashing and I was getting the dreaded blue screen. I talked with my IT guy in Seattle and he thought an hardware issue. So I checked on Unilocal and saw great reviews about Geeky Clean. I called and Scott answered my call and told me to bring it down.
I dropped off and was told that he needed to run some diagnostics. I got a call the next day from Scott letting me know what the issue was and I that he would work on it over the weekend. I got another call on Saturday saying that it would be ready on Monday.
All said and done things are working and looking good. The communication was great, the price was right and they were easy to deal with. I would for sure recommend.

These guys are great. I have tried multiple computer fix companies in PB, and I will be sticking with this one. The have given me lots of advise in person and on the phone with my computer and always help me find a solution I can afford. They could easily have tried to pump money out of me or given a strong sell, but instead they have earned my loyalty by constantly being very helpful and never asking for anything.

Very professional, courteous staff. Brought it in for a free diagnostics and was promised an update within 24 hours. I felt comfortable leaving my laptop and external hard drive with them. I was called the next day and given an estimate. I asked if they did military discount and yayy for me they did– 10%. Scott gave me estimates for a bunch of options for me and was very honest about how when he connected my external hard drive to the computer– it automatically backed up without him having to do anything magical so he wouldnt charge me for that back up which would normally be $ 50-​$ 100 based on how much needed to be backed up. I had gone to them because my computer was crazy slow, and freezing and doing all sorts of things but wouldnt back up for me. I didnt necessarily need anything immediately in the laptop as I havent turned it on in months but didnt want to lose the photos saved on the hard drive. Scott reformatted my laptop and it works like new. I was hoping they could fix my husband and my iphones too but he said they moved away from doing that but was kind enough to give me his friend’s business card who would be able to help me.
Would I go back to Geeky Clean PC for my computer needs. Definitely.

My wife’s macbook was stuck in a reboot loop and so I took the laptop here. Scott helped me out. The service was prompt. The initial diagnostic was completed in a few hours. After I gave the go ahead to Scott, he reformatted the disk, reinstalled the OS and MS office. The repair was complete in a few hours. Extremely satisfied with the service and pricing here. Will definitely recommend to my friends.
