5 stars for the product and customer service! Garnet Vintage has a great selection of quality, unique items — a rare find in Pacific Beach! I found an awesome mid-​century dresser that Garnet Vintage had listed on CraigsList for an additional 20% off the already reasonable in-​store price (I just mentioned the Craigslist price for the discount). The icing on the cake was when Arlene, the owner, offered to deliver my new dresser to my apartment in her trunk because she was worried it would get damaged if I stuffed it in the back of my sedan (at no added cost). I will definitely be back (often) to check what other goods Arlene gets her hands on. She also has another store in La Mesa, CA which I have yet to check out, but I’ve heard it have even more to offer. I highly recommend Garnet Vintage!

Stopped in yesterday and had the most wonderful visit! I believe I was speaking to the owner, Arlene. She was so fun and I just had a wonderful conversation with her. Her stock in this store is top notch! Truly vintage and antique. And the prices are more than reasonable. I was blown away at the selection and pricing. She said she purposefully tries to distance herself from the other overpriced antique stores and malls and boy does she do a good job. To top off a fun visit, I found the charcoal snowflake Pyrex divided dish I had been searching for forever! 50% off! $ 10.84 with tax. If you know Pyrex, you know that’s a steal.
She also has a huge warehouse in La Mesa called Park Estate Company… I cannot wait to check that place out! You can find a lot of her pieces for sale on Craigslist too!

Arlene, the owner of the store, is such a kind hearted person. She has quite the humorous personality and is very fair in her prices. She’ll give you a bargain of a deal if she can afford to do so. She’s good at keeping her antique shops supplied with fantastic items and even has a number of celebrity clients that hit her up. Being a working guitarist out of L.A. I know of a few established musicians who go through her for their home decorations. Thank you for helping our home with accomplishing the Hawaii theme we were going for Arlene! Mick Jammersfield

This review is based on customer service I received from a staff member Bryer. I had found a listing of offer up for an item for my sons nursery, a brass sailboat. I wanted it ASAP as we were doing pictures that Friday. I sent a message through the app but when I didn’t hear back I called the store before venturing to Pb. Turns out the person who does listings, presumably the owner, was out sick. Bryer couldn’t answers question but went above the call of duty and called the owner using his cell phone to ask about the item. He then shared his number with me so I could send him the listing picture. After much research it was determined the item sold but Bryer again stepped it up and sent me text pictures of other options.
They have a sister store in La Mesa which I called per Bryer’s suggestion it could be there– the person I spoke to wasn’t helpful waft sieve. I look forward to going to the store and would definitely shop this location over the other. Thanks Bryer for going abide and beyond!

I found this store while searching for a display rack on Craigslist. Wow– what I found was so much more! With the help of Arlene, the shop’s owner, we found pottery, glassware and *double* the display racks which we greatly needed. As a startup business owner myself, I really appreciated her industry knowledge and home décor savvy. Lastly, a special thank you to ‘*ArLeNe*‘ for finding a delivery solution for us on the spot! Cool store with unique furniture. I was originally headed to Underground Furniture and came in here to take a looksy around. The owner, Arlene, is super friendly and helpful! I bought two lovely new dresser and night stands with unique look to spice up my new place in San Diego. Fun place to window shop until you decide what meets your fancy.

Amazing store! I was searching for some vintage canisters and I happened to do a search on cl. An ad popped up for this store and I could not believe it. I emailed and the owner said I could pay over the phone and pick up later on in the week. It was a super easy transaction.
I went and picked them up today and I was amazed by this store! It’s packed with vintage treasures! It’s seriously my new favorite store in San Diego!

Great selection, clean and organized, easy to get around and not climb through stuff to look at the stuff. I LOVE junking and finding good deals. I love that feeling when you score on something unique that it is the highlight of the entire day if not more than a day! We came here to look around. I found some great stuff for next to nothing. NOW, what I really like is the owners view on vintage, antiques. She knows her stuff as she does about design. She built the sweetest installation using real wood pieces. I was more mesmerized by the installation than anything else. It reminded me of the installation by Barry McGee at SFMOMA… I was so inspired to replicate something similar that now I am in my studio getting wood planks ready for a project! Thank you for inspiring me!

This place is a gem. Owner is super friendly and helpful. I found what I needed right away and she measured, advised and arranged for super reasonable delivery on the spot. She even offered to do it herself if they were booked. Great prices, great pieces.

I’m in this store almost every week, because you never know what you’ll find. The owner has a great eye, and she finds vintage furniture that still has years of life left, and then sells it at a reasonable price. Apparently a very original idea here in San Diego… They even post some of their bigger items to Craigslist, which is great for a Craigslist hound like myself.
There are trinkets galore, the store is easy to navigate, and the owner and employees are very friendly. I have purchased a living room chaise and large wooden picture frame here, as well as random mugs and glasses.

OMG, It’s and amazing store! I wasn’t looking for anything particularly, but still was walking through the store mesmerized by goods from around the world from different times. You name it — they have it — anything from vintage accessories to furniture items and jewelries. I highly recommend to visit it just to see how special this place is — I felt like I came in a private museum’s collecion show room. Check this place out.

Today was the grand opening! Y’all have got to check this place out. It’s like Pinterest in a store. Most vintage home stores are outrageously priced but we were able to get two big items for our home here for less than have of what we would have spent elsewhere. Everything is so unique and the store is clean and fun. The owner was friendly and helpful.
