Tara Tylicki, HHP, CMT has been actively training for over 17 years on six of the seven continents. She is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, Certified in Medical Massage, and feels blessed to help as an Instructor for the World renowned Physical Therapist John Barnes. Tara is listed as an expert level in Myofascial Release which helps release scar tissue as well as other forms of trauma. Along with helping people recover from injury she has advanced training on Maui in relaxation & therapuetic techniques with a chiropractor Dr. Maka’ala Yates in the form of Hawaiian Massage called Mana Lomi. Tara also has advanced training in Shamanic & Energy Healing Techniques and enjoys teaching. She is sought out by other therapists & teachers for her combination in bodywork & energy healing. Tara continuously furthers her educational achievements & is honored to help others in their own journeys. She looks forward to meeting you!

History

Established in 2007.

I am very happy to have moved here to the San Diego area! I was sad to leave my amazing practice, filled with wonderful people who touched my heart, back on the East Coast. My practice was all over the D.C. area with 3 main offices. One in Annapolis, one in Chesapeake Beach, and the last was a log cabin in the country. Along with home visits I traveled regularly to different wellness centers & high end spa’s to work on the owners, practitioners, and their clients. Occasionally I return back to work on my clients that I have known for many years in the Washington D.C. area & some even continue sessions for shamanic healing by phone.

There are few words to describe how incredibly amazing the gift of Tara truly is! I was referred to her in 2009, when I was struggling to recover from serious health issues. After just six months of working with her, I began to connect with resources to help shift my health and my life. In extraordinary ways that I never imagined possible. Today, I am fully integrated back in the world, certified in Shamanic Energy Medicine, working on my NLP Certification and Completing my Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I’m still doing some processing from my healing session with Tara recently. Although it was on the shorter side, the session seemed a lot longer based on the level of transformation I experienced! She is an extremely gifted intuitive, holistic, and integrative healer. I absolutely loved every aspect of our session. It was amazing to have her read/​follow my energy from a few feet away! She used timeline therapy to guide me in releasing some old blocks I had with self worth and abundance, which was very therapeutic for me. There has definitely been a shift in those two areas since! Our session finished with some myofascial release on my chest. I had been holding onto some «stuff» that I was able to let go of. I highly recommend Tara whether you would like myofascial release/​massage, highly transformational healing, or something in between. Thank you again Tara!

She knows exactly what to do and how to do it to make me feel my best and release years of pain and tightness. With an extensive experience and education in a variety of modalities, she is able to choose which ones from her toolbox are the best for each client.
