The first time I came by I was excited to try the food. I love Filipino food and was excited to have somewhere close by that has good Filipino food. I saw the prices and was amazed. The prices have gone up a little over the last couple years but it is still cheap compared to other places. I like their lumpia although I find it has a little too much soy sauce in it. Other than that it is a great price and will satisfy a craving for lumpia. I personally do not like their pancit. It didn’t have much flavor and I am curious why it is so yellow. Not a bad place but definitely not where I choose to go when I want good Filipino food. I think the other odd ball items they sell is also kind of odd. I figured it would be a restaurant only.

Seriously as good as it gets. Just remember it’s cash only. Give them a call just to make sure they will have enough Lumpia ready for you. But I have never had a problem just stopping in for a quick 50 Lumpia.

This place has the BEST lumpia. There’s really no contest and they have every right to claim their specialty in the name of their restaurant. From the ingredients they use to the way they cook it, Fredcel has truly mastered the art of the perfect lumpia. That said, other stuff they sell is great too! I’ve had their adobo and menudo. Fantastic as well. A+

Chicken heaven here. Had 3 different types of marinated seasoned chicken offerings that were so good. This place is so busy with people getting large take outs or items for parties. Glad we found this place they sure are some excellent cooks.

I can only speak for the lumpia. I ordered 100 pieces for a holiday/birthday party. The lumpia was really good and inexpensive. Next time I will also try the pancet and rice which looked great. There were no lumpia left at the end of the party!

It was my first time here & I ordered 100 pieces of lumpia plus a half tray of pancit. I must advise you to order MORE lumpia because it sure goes by FAST! The lumpia was delicious & flavorful. It was hot, fresh & wrapper was crunchy! The pancit was quite tasty also. The staff was friendly & even helped me bring the food to my car=) You must try this place as far as ordering! I referred this place to every person at the party because they kept asking me where did I order the trays from. You will be happy after eating the food!

This is my 3rd time here an I just have to write a review to support my local pinoy restaurant because their lumpia is off the chain! By off the chain I’m talking about best in San Diego! I’ve tried there sisig also an it’s top of the line competing with titas in national city. Customer service is also excellent along with the food you get that nice mom an pop feel to it plus Eric knows how to carry out his family’s business with pride an keep people(me and my family) coming back for more. Try it out when your hungry for some Filipino food.

What a delicious Place. Ya know I have tried several Filipino places and I grew up with Filipino/mixed people in my life an in general I can tell when food is nutritious, delicious, and made with love. Fred and his cook or son make some delicious foods. The flavor profiles developed in the 2 dishes I had with pansit and lumpia were YUMMY I had a spicy port dish, and a chicken dish, and and order of Lumpia 6pc Plus my friend also got a 2 combo order and a side of sour soup which I finished off for him. all delicious. my mouth just watered now just thinking of their sour soup. Much Love, & Dig the grub!

There were Other good looking choices in the menu today like the chicken adobo and menudo. My eyes really wanted to try them all. Friendly folks in this mom n pop collaboration. 1 star off due to halo halo(traditional shaved ice dessert) super sweet.

Two batches of 50 lumpia in 30 minutes and the lumpia was so great. My day was set. And they waited an extra 15 minutes for me before they closed. Such nice people. I think it was a family business. Definitely keep supporting.

Hellz yeah! Needed to bring a last minute dish to a big event. I quickly called up Fredcel and told them I needed 100 lumpia within the next 25 – 30 mins and they delivered(not as in delivery… as in made it happen). They were delicious and most importantly… cheap. I got 100 lumpia for $ 30.

What you get for the price is great. The store isn’t really appealing, but for your to go lunch/dinner this is the most savory place to go. I got chicken legs, and the beef lumpia’s which were amazing. The prices are very reasonable, as well as the friendliness of the people who own this place. Will be back!

I’ve been going here for catered lumpia for years. It’s a hole in the wall hidden mom and pop shop gem. This place is my go-to for lumpia! Please note that it is cash and pick-up only! It was $ 30 for 100 pieces of lumpia. I’m not sure if the prices have changed since then but for the price of getting lumpia catered, it can’t be beat. My mouth is salivating just thinking about lumpia. I have so many parties coming up and I can’t wait to put in another catering order soon!

So I’ve actually been coming here for about 5 years now and nothing has changed. And this is a good thing. Well, maybe not so much the cash only part, but then again if they accepted cards I’d be eating here everyday and getting fat off their delicious lumpia. They did jack up the price from 3 lumpia for $ 1 to $ 1.25, but it’s still worth it. I usually get 9 with a small fried rice or pancit, that’s a good $ 5 lunch right there. Here’s a tip, try one of the sauces the chicken is cooked in on your rice. They’ll gladly add some for you free of charge. Everyone I’ve talked with here is super nice. The parking kinda sucks, especially now since there’s a Family Dollar on the corner. But strangely I always find the last space. They also do catering, so next time you go to a party or potluck, do everyone a favor and bring a big tray of lumpia.

I’ve been going to FredCel since back in the day when they were frying up their lumpias in their garage in National City! This is my go to spot for some GREATTASTINGLUMPIA! Whenever I have a party or potluck at work, I can always count on this place especially for a last minute order. What’s nice about FredCel is that even though they list their hours of operation as 11:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m., they’ve always answered their phones well before that and I am able to pick up my order(s) before they open! Gotta love that! Their pansit is also very good and tasty… but, it’s their lumpia that keeps me coming back!

Great Food. The Lumpia are the best in town in my opinion. The pancit is great too. Call ahead and pick up! They take cash only. There is also a parking lot directly behind the business.
