Came by this clinic today & the service was great the staff was so friendly and supportive the escort team is only to help you basically get into the office without getting harassed by protesters so I think that was great Lupita took care of me and she is WONDERFUL ! she’s so caring explains everything to you that you need to know !

Funny how they keep taking down our reviews because they don’t like being exposed. This place is full of lies and they will lie to you.
I’ve never been to a more cold and uncaring office. Most of the staff seems irritated and annoyed, especially the doctor. When I arrived, I was swarmed by a slew of belligerent men and women in yellow shirts who were adamant about ‘escorting’ me to the office as if I couldn’t find it myself. I went in for information and was handed a clipboard and was asked to sign without an explanation of what I was signing. It’s such a cold and unwelcoming environment in there. After what seemed like waiting forever, I was finally called back for my ‘seven minute procedure’ and when I asked questions about the surgery, they seemed bothered. I was told to just ‘relax’ when I complained about pain. No one in that office showed an ounce of compassion or sensitivity for my decision. It was clear to me then that these people are only there to take your money.
It wasn’t until later that I found out about the doctor’s malpractice lawsuits and botched surgeries. Just look up ‘fpa abortion clinic san diego’ on youtube to see the truth. Only one of many victims. Now I see why he needs escorts dragging women up the stairs to keep his business running. Please don’t let this doctor lay a hand on you, I wish I hadn’t.

I remember my first time coming here for my ‘PRO Women’s CHOICE’ appointment. I was feeling so many different emotions and had so many questions regarding the exams, procedures, and different methods of birth control. ALL of my questions were not only answered but were full of either personal staff’s experiences, brochure facts, and/​or sometimes called into the Doctor for further in-​depth explanation. The most memorable thing about my experience is how much EMOTIONAL support (verbally and physically) I received from the confirmation of appointment call, my paperwork intake, through ALL of the processing steps/​phases, and til the moment I was ready to walk out. Whether it was a hug from each of the processing staff (INCLUDING the Nurse Practitioner — Carla, the nurses assisting the Doctor AND the Doctor); a sincere rub on my hand from the Anesthesiologist; words of comfort from the assisting nurses while holding my hand, promising that they will be inside and with me the whole time even to check on me afterwards; to the nurses within the recovery room — THEY WERE ALL SO CARING and PERSONABLE including the facility Manager, Lane. I have now been a patient with them for the last year and am going to CHANGE my insurance provider just to continue to go to this Center for my Women’s Wellness services. I LOVE this office. Thank you, Lane, for especially making me feel special each time I call and go in. Jennifer, thank you for always sharing your office munchies with my greedy gut. :)

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a women’s clinic. Every staff member I encountered at this facility greeted me with a smile, they were warm, friendly, and reassuring. Regardless of the reason you are there (there aren’t any women’s exams that are fun by any means), the staff here were so helpful, nonjudgmental and made me want to come back in the future. The NP on staff, Carla, was friendly, efficient, quick and very helpful. She truly made me feel welcome. I like offices that aren’t running an hour behind. I was seen within 20 minutes of my appointment time and this is a rare find! I would recommend this place to anyone-​my family and closest of friends. Thank you FPA :)

I came in today for a well woman exam (which I had been putting off for way too long) and to re-​up my birth control. I set up an appointment online, which was easy and convenient. Everyone was really nice and helpful! The nurse practitioner, Carla, was efficient but made sure to take the time to answer my questions and she really cares.

Best Service! Thank you for being so warm and welcoming to me today. This place is not only so knowledgeable but compassionate when it comes to all women’s health concerns! Carla you are the best and if anyone needs a great recommendation for someone who truly takes pride in what they do– call her!

I love this offices team from start to finish no matter what your coming in to do. Their level of care and concern is through the roof.

I had an appointment for pup up smear at the Miramar location today. The stuff was very friendly and professional. The doctor took time to answer on all of my questions, she was very positive and made me feel very comfortable. I liked the warm atmosphere in there. I’ll be back to this location for my regular check ups. I recommend this place over the Planned Parenthood.

These ladies are the absolute best! They are so kind, friendly, and make you feel very comfortable. They also provide you with all the information you need and answer any question you have. I was so surprised that they could get me in so fast and that they could help me with everything I needed. SO much more helpful than any other place I’ve gone to before.

These folks are the best. My nurse, Carla, was incredibly informative and friendly. Everyone does their very best to make you feel comfortable while providing efficient service. I’m especially grateful for their extensive testing services and well rounded nurses and doctors.
I have a particularly rare blood disorder that makes it very dangerous for me to take hormonal birth control. I first found this out after I got birth control through Planned Parenthood, which was a friendly process but too superficial and quick to learn any details about me. While I am grateful for the services that PP provides, I will definitely be going to FPA from now on. FPA asked extensive questions to make sure that every procedure would be safe for me. That type of one on one care is pretty unbeatable.
That said, try to avoid Saturday appointments. Very uncomfortable protestors.

I was in need of a new gynecologist and I was referred here by a friend who spoke very highly of them. I’m born and raised in San Diego and had yet to find an obgyn that I was happy with. I was surprised and delighted at the amazing service I received from the ladies here at FPA. The ladies here put you at ease and go the extra mile to make sure you’re well taken care of and informed on the services you’re receiving. I’m so grateful to have found these ladies! I wish they did primary care as well, but from now on I will only be going to them for specialized girly services I will need. It’s refreshing to go to a medical office where they cater to your needs instead of a number.
I don’t think I could thank you ladies enough for your amazing service! Jennifer, Lane and Dr. Beth you ladies are amazing! I’ll be back!

I had my appointment here and it was great! The staff was really nice and Blaoria was very helpful. Her bubbly, upbeat personality made me feel very comfortable. I recommend going here and I will definitely be coming back.

I have been here once before. The first time I had a great experience. The second time I felt like I was part of a factory production line. The nurse in the recovery room was so rude to everyone (I could hear her) I know they see a lot of people but a little more compassion would be appreciated by women doing a big thing in their lives.

These people were very comforting, and friendly. I was scared going in, but the people here made everything simple and go smoothly.

In the same plaza as the Ashley pyramid. It’s on the second floor closer so it was a little hard to find. And it is open on Saturdays, not sure why Unilocal states it’s closed.
First of all, I had an appointment and came on time but I still had to wait in the waiting room for 30 – 45 minutes. This place was located upstairs and there’s not really any big sign that says Planned Parenthood or whatever on the doorway, so I had to jiggle on a few different doors until one opened. I think they could work on that.
What I really don’t understand is, if you have insurance or you make more than a certain amount, you can’t get free service/​prescriptions and have to pay ~$ 100 per month for a pack and $ 150 to get a check up. But if you stay at home and do nothing, all you have to do is walk in and you’re out with a bag full of whatsits. Man, I miss the good ol’ days when I was going to college and not making any money. –_​_​–
Honestly, I would recommend the Planned Parenthood in Pacific Beach next to Lanna’s Thai restaurant and Sushi Ota. They are much more friendlier there and much less busy.
