Absolutely the best chiropractor! Deborah is such a warm and friendly face to see every time I walk through the door. Dr. Flint is a gem! He is so kind and gentle and makes you feel like you are his only patient. He takes his time and listens to all of my aches and pains and really does everything he can to help me heal safely and quickly. He always gives great tips and advice about keeping my body well in between appointments. He is honest, always tells me to listen to my body and come back when I need to. He has never tried to «sell» a ridiculous monthly contract. I do not have insurance and I feel like his prices are beyond fair!!! I have referred many family members and friends and they all feel the same way as I do.

I recently had a lower back injury that left me in a lot of pain. I could barely bend over. Sitting hurt. I honestly thought that it would take months to be normal again. A co-​worker referred me to Dr. Flint. I was very skeptical at first, but desperate since I knew I would have to go to urgent care if I didn’t give this a shot. They were able to get me in same day.
I met Dr. Flint and was very impressed with his bedside manner. He was very gentle during my adjustments, explaining everything as he did them. He was very knowledgeable. I didn’t feel like he was feeding me any bull. He also was very honest about my expectations. I did not want to load my body with pain meds that are merely masking the problem. I was hopeful for a solution. So I left still feeling skeptical.
A few days later, for the first time I could bend over with no pain. I was amazed! By my second visit 3 days later, I felt 50% better.
Today was my third visit, day 12 since my injury. I feel amazing and almost 100% better. Dr. Flint even noticed my neck was a little tense on the right side and I didn’t tell him beforehand.
I am truly impressed and grateful for all he has done for me in just 3 vsits. To this day, the only day that I took ant pain meds was the first 2 days. Amazingly, none since. Even though my insurance doesn’t cover chiropractic services, he is worth paying out of pocket and super affordable (family owned). If I could give 10 stars, I would!

The BEST!!! I highly recommend Dr. Flint to everyone. I have walked in there feeling almost crippled and walked out feeling great. He is professional and efficient. Also VERY affordable. I had gone to a previous chiro and he used scare tactics and tried to get me locked into a $ 1500 pkg. Dr. Flint will treat you with respect and honesty. BE AWARE of chriopracters that try to get you locked into a long term, expensive pkg using scare tactics.

Agree with everyone else. He is a great doctor, but definitely not aggressive. Slow and steady wins the race in my book. I personally don’t enjoy sadism or want to wet my pants by someone jerking me around. Sorry, I’m too old to generate new bones. I am a little confused as to why he puts all his post-​nominals on everything, even ones that are redundant. Like B.A., B.S., M.A. M.S., M.S., D.C. Standard practice is to drop the undergraduates and only use the primary one. I’ve never asked him why he does this, because I don’t want to offend. But really, we get it, you are smart guy with multiple degrees. Anyways, great prices, punctual and always able to get an appointment when needed. I minus one star simply because it sucks that the office is cash or check only. Get with the technology, even the parking meter takes cards nowadays!

My hubby has been going to Dr. Flint for months, and as he was writing a Unilocal review today,
I decided I too wanted to write my own. I just started seeing Dr. Flint a week ago, thanks to my husband’s recommendation. OMG, «his» doctor was a life saver! I could barely stand up straight when my partner picked me up from school, and took me immediately to get an emergency treatment. Deborah (who manages the office) cheerfully fit me in, and minutes later I felt immediate relief. Dr. Flint knew exactly what was needed, and gently, yet firmly put me back into alignment. His caring and compassionate words were as helpful as his astute hands on my hips and back. I can highly recommend the Flint Chiropractic Center and the Doctor’s excellent service and commitment to his life’s work.

When my chiropractor of over 20 plus years in La Jolla, retired, I began a search for a new one in South Park, Hillcrest and North Park. I had developed severe and chronic hip pain at age 64 which had me greatly concerned about living life fully.
My La Jolla doctor had given me a wealth of experience with which too compare, and I saw 3 chiropractors who were helpful, but not what I was wanting so I kept looking. I was lucky to be driving home on Meade street one day and saw the sign for Flint Chiropractic…. and what a blessing it was!
Dr. Flint treated me 3 to 4 times a month for about 3 months, and his therapy worked so well that I have not been back to seem him for almost 8 months, (which to me is a miracle since I never think about my hip or back pain at all! I am back to feeling as I did 10 years ago with high energy and unlimited mobility!) Dr. Flint had mentioned that his objective is to have his patients need him less and less; very rare in the business of professional medical services in my opinion. I do plan on seeing him before my vacation however, for some general well-​being adjustments and/​or preventative treatment.
What do I like about Dr. Flint? Most gentle touch and pain-​free adjustments I have experienced both here in San Diego and Colorado. He is always concerned with the most minimally invasive treatment for the body that he can perform. He listens extremely closely to my needs each and every visit. He explains the procedure he recommends before he does anything, and let me now each time what he is doing in the moment. He maintains complete professionalism and privacy at all times. His full-​time staff is very competent and pleasant and maintains an elegant and warm office environment which greatly adds to my confidence and satisfaction of a pleasant and beneficial experience. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Flint and his staff as my primary medical resource.

While I was seeing Dr. Flint, I had to ask him to be a little more «aggressive» because my muscles are so tight literally nothing was moving and I was leaving in the same shape I arrived. Also, he recommends massage AFTER an adjustment. I’m sorry, nothing was moving with this routine, so why didn’t he try to change things up? My «hack» to his method was to go to the gym before my appointment to get «loosened up». When I did that, things were slightly more likely to move. I even told him about it and he was like hmm ok. No real support.
Then, magically Dr. Flint declared I was healed and prematurely stopped my treatment, telling me to return as needed (um does tomorrow count because I need it now!). He stopped my treatment despite what I was saying. I did not feel better and months later I feel much worse. I told my physical therapist that my treatment was stopped because the doctor said so. He couldn’t believe that actually happened. Me either. Too bad. He’s a nice guy but a crummy doctor who doesn’t listen to his patients when they say «but I’m not better.»

I have now had two opportunities to visit this office, and am extremely happy with the quality of care from Dr. Flint, the level of attention and support from Deborah (office manager) and the great massage from Virginia. Dr. Flint takes the time needed, and tries to get the problem fixed without requiring you to sign up for years of treatment! I had been referred, then read the other reviews on this site, and am very very pleased with the experience.

If you don’t happen to be lucky enough to live two blocks from the wonderful folks at Flint Chiropractic as I do, then perhaps you should consider moving! Dr. Flint is very skilled in the arts, always pleasant and clearly concerned for his patients as particularly evidenced by the terrific staff he has gathered around him to support his practice.
I have to say that if you are in the market, you really need to give them a crack at it!

Dr. Flint has been fixing my back and neck for the last few years. I train BJJ and am not as spry as I was in my 20’s. As a result my neck is usually out and Dr. Flint gets me fixed up every time without excessive pressure or adjustment. His office is clean and professional and he is willing to assist off hours if you have a genuine emergency. Having been to numerous other chiropractors Dr. Flint is by far the best. Highly recommended!!!

Another update … schedule a massage with Micheal (pronounced Michelle). She’s intuitive and accommodating, and very, very strong. She gives a relaxing massage but you will still feel like you got a massage. Highly recommend Micheal and be sure to ask the wonderful Deborah about the adjustment/​massage combo … really great!

Love Dr. Flint and his staff. I also like the fact that he offers message to compliment the adjustment. I’m leaving California and I hope I can find another chiropractor as caring and capable. I found Dr Flint through a co worker and have been seen by him over the past year. I’m also a cash pay person and I found his rates are very reasonable and affordable. I’ve been going to Dr. Flint for years off and on now and he’s so nice, professional and extremely talented. I had spinal fusion surgery when I was 15 so once in a while my back acts up and Dr. Flint always helps me get relief. Last Tuesday I called him at 8 in the morning (normal business hours on Tuesdays are 1−630pm) and he called me right back and said he could meet me in the office in 10 mins since it was an emergency. It’s rare to come across someone who cares so much about his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know.

Having had back surgery years ago, I have always been leery of anyone messing with my lower back, until Dr. Flint. What a chiropractic genius he is. Due to my job (self employed hair stylist) and genes, my back is bad. He is not a big popper and twister and his methods work. When I feel it going out, Debra the receptionist usually can get me in that day so I have little to no down time at work. I just love the Dr. and his staff.

They can usually squeeze me in.
Adjustments are precise and I appreciate how considerate Doctor Flint is about not just getting the work done, if things don’t go back into place he doesn’t over do it to the point that it feels worse later.
I’m so glad I have them just around the corner and I’m thankful for Deborah who is kind enough to call and leave happy reminder messages so you don’t miss your appointments.

I have been going to this chiropractor off and on for over 20 years. Dr. Flint is one of those guys that is friendly, concerned, and a gentle touch, unlike some others that I have tried. Some jerk you around so roughly that you feel worse afterwards, not here.
I also enjoy a combination adjustment followed by a massage, What a great package deal they have.
I highly recommend using his services. Thanks Doc for keeping me a little more sane.

So I just got into my car, and I couldn’t drive off without writing a review first. YES, That’s how amazing I feel! This is my first visit to a chiropractor’s office and it was great. Dr. Flint explains everything he’s doing and makes sure you don’t leave without having your questions answered. I woke up with pretty bad back pain this morning, and after seeing Dr. Flint I feel instant relief. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend him to anyone looking for a good chiropractor!

I’ve been to a few chiropractors in my life, as I move from place to place. Dr. Flint is definitely the best one I have been to. I was glad to hear that he didn’t subscribe to the mantra of spiritual chiropractic that is found today. Instead he focuses on what the problem is and gets it fixed.
I first called the office because I had a debilitating pinched nerve in my neck that rendered my arm useless and was causing unbearable pain. After a few sessions I was feeling relief and my body was adjusting back to its norm.
I am very happy with his level of care and what he provides as a practitioner of chiropractic medicine.

I woke up this morning and COULDN’T GET OUT OF BED. (The product of a weekend full of packing and moving boxes, painting, and spending an hour cleaning chalkboard paint off of my kitchen floor/​cabinets/​and self… don’t ask.)
I called Dr. Flint’s office at 7:15a.m…A.M…expecting to get an answering machine so I could leave a message and beg to be seen at some point today. (Did I mention this was 7:15 in the morning?) I was surprised that 1) he was already in the office, 2) he answered the phone and 3) he told me to come right in!
But, after seeing Dr. Flint regularly for about a year and a half, I shouldn’t be surprised. He is by far the best chiropractor I have ever seen (and I’ve seen quite a few). Even though his appointment books are always full (a testament to the success of his practice), he will never hesitate to take a patient in need.
I recommend everyone to him. So if you’re reading this, you’re probably looking for a great chiropractor; you’ve just found one. :-)
