First Flight Corporation

I’m truly grateful to have found First Flight Corps, located at Brown field. The entire staff makes you feel like family. I conducted my flight training there, from no hours to first solo, then on to private pilot. Definitely look forward to flying with them in the future!

Just completed my first introduction flight (demo flight) at First Flight Corporation. From the initial phone call when I booked the flight, to the time we landed I was more than satisfied. Ruby who works at the front desk was very nice and knowledgable. She answered all my questions with a smile and has excellent customer service. My instructor for the day was Peter Grootendorst, he was a very nice gentleman with over 50 years of flying experience. He kindly and patiently guided me through the preflight checklist and explained the different functions as well as the importance of monitoring the various components. While on the ground: steering the plane with the pedals was a whole new experience for me but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. We taxied unto the runway and before I knew it we lifted off the ground and climbed to 1800ft. He handed over the controls to me and my dream to fly had just begun. He monitored my flying all the while explaining the functions and answering any questions I had. What a great experience. I would highly recommend anyone interested in flying to start here. The rates were very affordable, only $ 49.00 for half an hour up. The plane was a well maintained Cessna 172. I definitely plan on coming back and booking a longer lesson. Thanks again Peter and Ruby!
